One Fork

I am sending something your way, beloved; something that you will find is quite delicious.  You will not need a knife to carve it; it will be bite size.  You will not need a spoon either, for this repast will be eaten with a fork; there will be no juice.  This is something that I believe you will find quite delightful.  I want you to spear your fist bite and chew it methodically.  Chew on it and chew on it, and chew on it until that morsel is a part of you.  Then take another bite, and do likewise.  Then put your fork down and rest a bit.  Don’t eat it too fast!  This repast is to be savored.  Every last bit is to be savored, eaten at your leisure.

I am giving you some instructions, dear one.  I am sending a fine, bite-sized repast your way.  I want you to enjoy it and I want you to take your time eating it, chewing each bite methodically.  Do you think you can do this for Me?  Do you think you can follow these instructions, taking your time as you eat this repast?  That is what I want you to do.  Will you do this for Me, for your own betterment, for the betterment of those around you?  Chew it slowly.  Yes, chew this fine repast that I am about to serve you slowly and enjoy it.  Don’t go too fast, now.  Chew it and reflect on the fine, rich quality that I am presenting.  Chew on it, thinking about it from every angle.  It will help you in your walk with Me.  It will strengthen you in ways you never dreamed.  It will give you a new perspective about your God.  Yes!  It will enable you to look at Me from a different angle, an angle that will delight you, delight you right down to the tips of your toes!!!
