The first is like a nuclear explosion with a gigantic mushroom effect. Then other explosion go off all over the city a second apart. It was terrifying. Val is with me and I tell her that we need to fetch the other members of the family that we had left upstairs. Chaos reigned in the city. The city looked like Washington DC the city centre. I would offer the following for consideration:
Six story building represents our man-made systems, specifically the institutional church, financial systems, and governmental systems (thus the "resemblance" to Washington while you felt the danger for NY).
The explosions I would propose are the collapse of these systems, many of which have already begun (in my opinion). The smaller explosions are the ripple effect from the larger systems.
Your sudden urgency to "run out and check the sky" seems to be in alignment with many who are exiting organized religion (dead church systems) because they are not finding Him which satisfies their soul. They are "looking for" (checking the sky relates to turning to the spiritual realm) a deeper reality which can only be found in Christ.
The desire to "fetch your family" is possibly the indwelling Spirit bringing back the simple truths of "organic" shared life community, specifically the "ekklessia" which always begins with "family", both naturally and spiritually.
I pray you are encouraged and strengthened as I believe there are many who hearing this same "message".
As always, please test this according to the Spirit.
