To Stand Against Darkness
David Kloefkorn
Luke 12:49 "I have come to bring fire on earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
I see that there are two lines running simultaneously together, one dark and one light. These have been moving throughout time. Yet in this hour they are running so close together that often they collide like lightning creating a discharge into the atmosphere accompanied with sounds as thunder. Heat is kindled by its discharge.
And God said, let there be light-bearers in the expanse of heaven to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs (appearings) and for seasons (appointed times) and for days and for years, And let there be light-bearers in the expanse of heaven to give light on the earth; and it was so. And there was evening and there was morning a forth day. Gen. 1:14, 19
The darkness continues to expand more rapidly in this the third day then
ever before. Many have chosen earthly ways wondering lost in a desert of despair. Not knowing or seeking the ways of the heavens. The call is gone out to those who will turn from the earthly ways of darkness and walk in the light, which is Christ. Enter into the fourth day, and walk in the light bearing holiness and truth upon the earth.
Lev 7:17 but that which remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.
The time has come to lay down our lives and take up the cross. That the light would shine forth. Not in portions, but the whole of it. Not dealing in anything that is in anyway false dwelling in shadows, but in that which is entirely born out of the light. Walking in the spirit and bringing forth the light that overcomes the darkness, Christ has overcome the world.
Woe to them who call evil good, And good evil; Who put darkness for light and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter. Is.5:20
Pride, lust and the like have set themselves even within the church. Prosperity messages, prophecy's born out of pride and the flesh presented as from God but are not, sexual abominations and blasphemy, offences, bitterness, the lack of holiness, truth and so on. Many are turning away from the church because they knowing or unknowingly have seen its lack. Which begs the question, are we bringing forth evil for good and good for evil or darkness for light and light for darkness?
Job 38:19 Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
Job 38:20 That thou should take it to the bound thereof, And that thou should discern the paths to the house thereof?
Consider the times in which we live, the crimes against the spirit, which exact themselves with devastating blows. Is it not enough that the world is filled with unrighteousness, but even now that which dwells in the world parades itself within the church with great pomp and pride. What immense darkness endures within seeking whom or what it may destroy? We shall never know the darkness that lies within or its boundary, if we remain quiet and ignorant not seeking to walk in the path of light. It is the light that consumes the darkness and reveals its boundary while exposing us to the dwelling place of eternal life.
Eternal: To be clear, to shine; a tent (clearly conspicuous from a distance) a covering, dwelling, place, home, tabernacle, a tent.
Tabernacle: The body, an abode for the spirit, a habitation or dwelling place.
Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should add it unto the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel's hand.
Rev 8:5 And the angel took the censer; and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it upon the earth: and there followed thunders, and voices, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
We must overcome darkness in order to know and enter into the light, where in lies the eternal life and love is that light. An abode for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.). Becoming a habitation of the Lord bringing forth an outward expression. Coming into alignment with the very throne of God. To tabernacle in the heavens, walk in and be led of the spirit.
Psalm 19:2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night shows knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language; where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices as a strong man to run his course.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit unto the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
A door has opened to move with the spirit as never before one that will cause the very atmosphere to be affected. Prayer and intercession is that doorway to the light, it opens the way to a relationship with the eternal One, which empowers and gives direction to our prayer and intercessions.
Matt 26:40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and found them sleeping, and said unto Peter, What, could you not watch with me one hour?
41 Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
To watch and pray is the most essential part of our daily walk with Christ. Paul said to do it without ceasing. Without it we will thirst in a dry land and never know Him for Himself. So we wind up asleep in nothing more than a superficial relationship born out of the mind and not of the spirit. Battling away with the vainglory of life, lust of the flesh and of the eyes. These that bind us to darkness, never to experience the true light.
Matt 11:10 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who shall prepare Your way before You.
It is the hour of the John the Baptist generation to arise and shine. The time has come to leave this world and enter into the light that many sons and daughters would be brought unto the Father. Fool not yourself into thinking you are something you are not. There is much pruning to be done in order for the true fruit to come forth and the way to be prepared. Seek first the kingdom and its righteousness and all these shall be added unto you.
Mat 4:16 The people living in darkness have seen a great light, and for those living in the land and shadow of death, a light has risen."
Will they who dwell in darkness ever see the light? It is time to stop playing church and start seeking the true light. Yes the day is and has come when light and dark run closely together. It is only in Him that we can discern the difference. Even now there are thunders (roaring), voices (discloser, tones, sounds, appearings) lightening (shining) and earthquakes (agitations, shakings, trembling). It is time for the true light to come forth. We must open our heart and spiritual eyes to see and understand the boundaries of darkness as it moves through time for its time is short.
Rev 12:12Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth (flesh) and the sea (limitations): because the devil is come down to you and has great rage, knowing that he has but a short time.
