Finding our voice (our sound) in agreement with the Voice of our Lord and God

This is about making sounds that will benefit us, and make our enemy very uncomfortable (and very defeated)

This will not be for everyone, but hopefully, it is for someone.

Revelation 1:15 ESV

and his (Jesus) voice was like the roar of many waters.

This is to address those who are going through difficulty.

It is about finding our voice, in unity with the voice of the Lord Jesus, Who is the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, has a voice.

Revelation 5:5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."

A word that came to my mind this morning:

If we roar voluntarily, then we will not be compelled to roar.

(That is, if we roar voluntarily, then we will not have to roar involuntarily.)

The Sounds of a Lion -

A Roar, A Growl, A Snarl

Enter in as a child.

Make the sound of a lion.

Enter into agreement with the Lord Jesus, the Lion of Judah.

There may be another sound that the Lord Jesus wants you to voice in agreement with Him.

Sounds are very important in making the enemy flee, and accomplishing the purposes of our God:

The Power of the Voice of the Lord

     Psalm 29

A psalm of David.

  1 Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones,

    ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

  2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;

    worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

  3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;

    the God of glory thunders,

    the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.

  4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;

    the voice of the LORD is majestic.

  5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;

    the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

  6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,

    Sirion like a young wild ox.

  7 The voice of the LORD strikes

    with flashes of lightning.

  8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;

    the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.

  9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks

    and strips the forests bare.

  And in his temple all cry, "Glory!"

  10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood;

    the LORD is enthroned as King forever.

  11 The LORD gives strength to his people;

    the LORD blesses his people with peace.

In 2 Chronicles 20, the story is given of obedience and praise to defeat an enemy army.  Notice the praise with a VERY LOUD VOICE!

  2 Chron. 20:

18 Jehoshaphat bowed with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the LORD. [19] Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the LORD, the God of Israel, with very loud voice.

20 Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful." [21] After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:

  "Give thanks to the LORD,

    for his love endures forever."

22 As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. [23] The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

God caused an army to hear a sound, that God created, to frighten them away.

Elisha gave a prophetic word, and God caused a sound to be heard that frightened the enemy army away.

2 Kings  7:

1 Elisha said, "Hear the word of the LORD. This is what the LORD says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria."

2 Kings 7:

5 At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, not a man was there, [6] for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, "Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!" [7] So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives.

The sounds we make can determine what our victory looks like.

Ask Holy Spirit what sound you should be making.

It might sound like a lion’s roar.

It might sound like rushing, roaring waters.

It might sound like praise.

But it will likely be loud.

Philip,

Thank you I sooooo needed this!!!!! The scripture you posted:

Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, has a voice.

Revelation 5:5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."

This scripture is posted on the webpage of a family member of someone the enemy is using in my life at this time. About 2 weeks ago, when I came across this person's webpage (this person is an atheist). They had a backround of a lion with this verse on it. This person likes lions. This is a brand new attack from the enemy (these people are not my enemy so to speak...satan is). So this situation arose a month ago. When I saw the lion with this scripture..the Lord was clearly showing me He has triumphed over this situation!!! I am printing out what you wrote...because I have so been seeking to know how I am to spiritually battle this situation!!!!! Thank you!!!!

One more thing...the Lord gave me this scripture through a friend about 4 years ago...this battle has been very long!!

Psalm 93

 1 The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty;
       the LORD is robed in majesty
       and is armed with strength.
       The world is firmly established;
       it cannot be moved.

 2 Your throne was established long ago;
       you are from all eternity.

 3 The seas have lifted up, O LORD,
       the seas have lifted up their voice;
       the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

 4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
       mightier than the breakers of the sea—
       the LORD on high is mighty.

 5 Your statutes stand firm;
       holiness adorns your house
       for endless days, O LORD.
