SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha
Burns -- July 30, 2009:
Be aware that there are those who would have you
take responsibility and exercise your authority with
regard to their spiritual and physical condition. But, I
tell you truly that your responsibility does not extend
beyond your calling and personal involvement. The
enemy will use guilt to suck you into situations that are
neither your problem nor your business, and if you
yield to the pressure to get involved, you are likely to
end up getting blamed for that which is not your fault.
Take every opportunity to establish good boundaries
for yourself, says the Lord, and stay within your safe
parameters.
Acts 17:26-28 And He has made
from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the
face of the earth, and has determined their
preappointed times and the boundaries of their
dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the
hope that they might grope for Him and find Him,
though He is not far from each one of us; or in Him we
live and move and have our being, as also some of
your own poets have said, "For we are also His
offspring."
