THE FREE MARKET - TRUST AND TRANS-ACTION

I was shown the market place.

I saw that in order for the market to function it has to be based upon trust.

This was described to me in this way:

A transaction of money is based upon the deepest interior principals, the principals of trust. When I give my money in order to receive something from someone else – a product, a service; this affects the core of trust, the core principals of trans-action. I have trust-respect enough in the person whom I desire to have a transaction with.

Trans-action is the freedom to initiate a cooperative action.

Transaction: “a communicative action or activity involving two parties or things that reciprocally affect or influence each other.”

The freedom of a cooperative action is trust.

The strength of cooperative action is manifested in the common man.

Cynicism is as the opposite of trust - instead of freedom there are roadblocks to cooperative action.

Freedom is based upon the empowering of trans-actions between people.

Cynicism is sweeping the land.

When cynicism overwhelms trust, the common mans ability for communicative action is immobilized.

          ---------------------------------------------------

Because transaction operates by trust – the fruitful exchange has an inherent mutual benefit.

Greed is the perversion of transaction. Greed undermines mutual benefit.

Cynicism refuses to see the good in mutual benefit.

Greed creates cynicism.

When transaction itself is perverted, the “common man” fails to see the common good – he becomes cynical

and can be controlled by those who would appeal

to his greed.

Got hit between the eyes with this today....and it grieved me. Cynicism is
something often not addressed or attended to. something has happened
to "us" in that it is revered and venerated....like the cynical outlook is a
badge of honor and - it gets very overlooked and is given place and honor
that does not belong to it.

It spreads a huge blockade...freezes things up and even binds...binds
people to actions of repetetive failure and for everything to be perceived
as outworking of whatever is in the cynical view. it builds fear and
complicates what often is either totally innocent, or else is a very simple
straightforward slip up or mistake...making it a mighty mountain or a
giant dragon..

And we are called to rise above that, even to overcome it. It's NOT God's
kingdom. It opposes God's kingdom. Father - overcome this with Your
simplicity, love, and sincerity...let us be gentle as doves in our wisdom &
canniness and not be captured but instead be vessels of release.

Thanks for addressing a rarely addressed topic, and not one of the ole
standard hashed & rehashed ones!

amen denise -

There is power in mutual benefit  - we give this power away when we are cynical.

YES we literally give it away! And worst of the worst - but also the ORIGINAL
is when we trade simple trust in God for cynicism towards Him.

cleverly veiled as "did God REALLY say...??"

then you can pretty well add in anyone's name to this, or God's name
regarding ANY topic..."did God REALLY want to save us, or does He want to
let us DIE of thirst and hunger out here?"

in other words - we can hide our cynicism toward God underneath the
statement that we do not believe it really WAS God...from ourselves...

oh but a heavenload of glorious LIFE and BEAUTY await us as we allow Him to
unveil that cynicism and remove it from us...(!!!)

a VAST storehouse of precious treasure and priceless gems....

May we be gem uncover - ers and discover - ers par excellence!

Vince - Praising God right along with you! I was merely describing the
work God is and has been doing in me, and my desire to move more into
being a participant in that work myself to raise up others into freedom
and fullness of LIFE as He intended..we have been SO conditioned and
systematically de-sensitized...like a huge heavy buildup of barnacles until
the treasure of what He created us to be in Him is scarce recognizable.
We have been hardened to it (to Him and His heart....) and when He is
truly doing this work, changing us it awakes compassion and a true God-
like desire to see others come free of the heavy weight and burden the
greed & cynicism create...(saw the later add on) All based in love.

Had thot after adding my last post to add a couple scriptures that speak
into this:

Rom 16:19b-20 "be wise in what is good and be innocent in what is evil.
And the God of PEACE will soon crush satan under your feet.

I Cor 13:6-7 "(love) does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with
the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all
things. Love never fails"

Anyhow ALL praise goes to Jesus!
