What the Lord Is Saying Today
November 10, 2009. Today I am with two of my sons hunting deer in a very remote part of Texas. It is quiet and lonely in the pre-dawn hours. Not a bird is chirping. And yet on the road just now in my car I listened on a very powerful Christian radio station to an anointed preacher, Chuck Smith, from southern CA and then to another, Tom Dooley, in Hurst, TX. My soul has been fed and my spirit has been lifted. Just before writing this word this morning, I received emails with thanksgiving from other nations and from the USA saying how much these words mean to them, how much it helps them in their daily lives. More and more I realize how connected we are one to another. No one need ever feel alone or isolated. God is with us, keeping us connected in a network of His making. Ephesians 4:16 “For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.” (AMP) Ras Robinson*
November 10, 2009. Give some thought to your actions before you hop on to the “poor me” merry-go-round. If you get on, it only circles around, never going forward. It speeds up as it goes. You won’t be able to get off until it comes to the “pity party” stop, which leads to a downward spiral. Follow the saints who have gone before you. They have left you an example which I have recorded in My Word. Yes I know you are in a hard time. I have much compassion for you, and know you can live on a higher plane. I have called you higher. Follow My upward wisdom by reading My Word. Acts 16:25-26 “But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's chains were unfastened.” Bev Robinson
