Brewing deep within the heart of God's people is an unusual expectation. It can't be put into words; no diagrams can be drawn to explain it, but it's there. There is a great stirring in the Heavens, the hosts of Heaven are assembling, and something is up! You can feel it in the air, God is responding to the cries of His people.

Saints are tired of boring sermons, weary of the polished plans of man; they are desperate to see the Lord moving in power. Get ready for a wonderful Divine Invasion, an infusion of God's mighty power active in our day.

As we continue to cry out for a divine invasion we are going to encounter God's intervention. A strong promise is revealed in Isaiah 64:1-5: "Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence – as fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil – to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!

"When You did awesome things for which we did not look, You came down, the mountains shook at Your presence. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.

"You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned – in these ways we continue; and we need to be saved."

The Spirit of God is at work pleading with us, seeking to bring us to repentance, revealing the lack of zeal and the coldness of our passion for Christ. It is imperative that we repent and return to our First Love (Revelation 2:11). God is deserving of our very best. Give Him the invitation to come down in power within your life. A fusion of faith and the Word of God will result in activation of God's mighty works. Expect to behold the raw, real, genuine power of God, moving within your life.

Embrace the prophetic promise in Isaiah 64:1-5. His presence releases His power; the mountains shake, speaking of the removing of opposition, things standing in the way of revealed victory. We will see the power of God shaking many systems that are standing in resistance to His will and ways. The underbrush burned away! Speaking of purifying and purging of our lives to produce more fruit.

The fire causes the water to boil, speaking of the power of God's Spirit anointing the Word to produce a burning zeal within the heart and life of Believers. To make His holy name known, to so reveal HIMSELF as to cause the nations to tremble at His presence.

Get ready to see the actions of God in such a manner as to shake awake a sleeping Church. "Awake, awake!...O Zion" (Isaiah 52:1).

Paul admonishes us to rouse to reality knowing these are critical days, he releases wisdom for our walk during these dark days:

"Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah). The night is far-gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. Let us live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly as in the [open light of] day, not in reveling (carousing) and drunkenness, not in immorality and debauchery (sensuality and licentiousness), not in quarreling and jealousy. But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts)."—Romans 13:11-14

Make it your goal to live a true pure life (see 2 Corinthians 7:1). It is the pure in heart that will see God (see Matthew 5:8).
