I had a vision of a young woman standing in a large field.  The field was a large dry barren field.  As far as I could see left or right, all I could see was just this large expanse of dry land.  I could see the soil was bone dry.  It held no moisture, no nutrients.  This woman was young, dressed in a simple cloth dress, that looked torn and well worn.  She had long bedraggled hair.  I knew she had been working for many years sowing seed into this barren soil – trying to grow anything, something to feed herself.  Nothing grew at all. Her efforts achieved nothing.

This young woman had been praying for rain for a long long time so her seeds would sprout and grow but no rain ever came.  She was weary and disheartened.  But still each morning she went to this field and tended her seeds, with the little hope she carried, that one day they would sprout and grow. I then saw rain clouds overhead, and saw  rain pouring down onto the dry earth of the field.

And the Lord said “Look up ! Look up and see the rain clouds !  You have spent so much time focused on sowing and growing in this barren field, that you have failed to notice the rain clouds gathering in the distance.  You have failed to see the rain clouds on the horizon, and you have failed to see the rain clouds overhead, and you can’t even feel the rain falling upon you.  Look up !  Feel the rain upon your skin.  Feel the rain as it wets your skin, and dampens your hair, feel the rain as it soaks your clothes.

My rain is falling !  Everything that you have asked for is here.  It is now, it is falling"
