The Adversity That Sifted You By Becky Porter
Your time in the desert has taught you well. Your
time in the desert has put some strong things down on the inside of you that
were not formerly there. You are a different person than you were before
you went through all of the adversity, but know that the adversity that
sifted you, HAS ALSO SHIFTED YOU - a shift has occurred on the inside of
you - it has put a strong backbone of iron inside of you - you now have a new
strength and authority you did not previously have, and a tenacity and staying
power that you did not formerly possess. You may not feel strong, but you
are, and you will see that strength come out when you least expect it!
Sit at My feet and pour out your heart to Me – fellowship
and commune with Me – tell Me what you want Me to do for you. I want you
to know that faith has a voice and it moves Me! It was faith that
healed the woman with the issue of blood - it was her faith that caused healing
virtue to flow forth from My body! Her faith made her whole, and so will
your faith do! Healing is the children's bread. The more time you
spend in My presence, the more a surety will be built on the inside of you that
I DO want to heal you and that I DO see you as worthy and valuable
- I want you to know that you are definitely NOT overlooked or rejected
- I have captured every one of your tears and I have turned them into a
“healing pool of Bethesda” for you! I will heal and restore all that the
locusts and canker worm have eaten in your life. Arise, shine, for your
light has come. This is your time - this is your season - arise and come
forth Queen Esther! Arise, and step forth boldly into the destiny that I
have designed and ordained for you! I will use you more in your latter
days than in your former - do not hold back and do not look back, but step out
in faith and I will meet you there!"
Mark 5:25-34 NKJV
Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many
things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better,
but rather grew worse. When she heard about
Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If
only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the
fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was
healed of the affliction. And Jesus,
immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in
the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” But His disciples
said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” And He looked around
to see her who had done this thing. But the woman,
fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down
before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.
Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
Joel 2:25 NKJV
“So I will restore to you the
years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming
locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you.

Once again, Thank you Becky!
We moved to the desert in 2008, and I had never truly fasted. The time in the desert was so full of spiritual warfare that I went on many three day fasts.
I learned that even though I am weak and foolish, He is always faithful!
