The LORD was speaking to me about empty wells & cisterns:
"My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me, The fountain of living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water."
Jeremiah 2:13
A cistern filled with water is a source of life, refreshment and revival, but a cistern without water becomes a pit and a prison (i.e. Joseph and Jeremiah).
Any "structure" filled with the Spirit can bring life and wholeness, but that same structure without the Spirit will become a prison.
Then I heard the Spirit Saying:
There are many structures that I have filled with my presence in the past. That was a season and a time, but I am not resting in the structures of man. Because I visited those pits and filled them with my presence you thought the pit was the focus - is it the well that is the focus or the water that fills it? My presence is not contained in your structures, can you not discern that? Has not my Spirit been stirring you to ask, "where is the presence of the Lord?" What once was a cistern filled with water is now nothing more than a pit and a prison. Just as my prophet Jeremiah was thrown into an empty well with nothing more than the remnants of water mixed with earth at the bottom - so too My prophets have been held in the mud of your earthly ways with the remnants of the glory of the last season. Come out of the structures of man My people.
Did I not tell you that you are to be like the wind? Where it comes from and where it goes no one knows but the Spirit that directs it. Did I not tell you that My living waters come from within you? You are the source of My river in this world, not the structures and religions of man. You bring My presence with you - you do not need to go somewhere to find it. You must receive this revelation for the time is short and you have much to do. I AM the Lord of My church.
Did I tell you to submit to a man or the religious structures of man? If you think that I did you have been deceived. Did I tell you that you need the covering of a man to protect you? Is your God so small that He needs a man to protect His people? Did I tell you that you are the flock of a man? No, I have never called you to be a part of any flock but mine. These false shepherds will answer to me for their presumption and My sheep will answer to me for following a shepherd (who is no shepherd) other than Me.
You have thought that I was altogether like you - but you are wrong. I am not like you and you have a few short days to humble yourself before Me to correct yourself before My correction begins.
For My sons and daughters that have sought My face and have bore the rejection, judgement, and anger of those that call themselves My leaders (but are not - for they lead people to themselves and not to Me), I am about to reward you. I am about to show all people the difference between those that truly follow Me and those that do not. I am about to restore to You from My hand that which has been taken from You. I will require those that despised you to come to you and I will lift you up. Because you brought yourself low - I will raise you up on high. And to those that lifted themselves up to become lords over my flock, I will bring low.
Come out of the prisons of the empty structures that do not have my presence. If My people are truly gathering in Me you will see Me and I will reveal Myself when two or more gather in My Name. The discontent you feel is from Me, for I am not content with the structures of man.
Those that seek Me find Me and they will be led and directed by Me. They will not submit to man or the religious structures of man, for they are submitted to Me. They hear My voice and they do not listen to the voice of any other. Those that obey Me submit themselves to one another for the sake of love and service to those that are submitted to Me. They do so for love and they do so in righteous fear of Me. My sheep hear My voice! Do not submit to any man that tells you that you need to submit to them! Do not submit to the religious structures of man! For I tell you that those that are truly leaders, prophets, apostles, pastors, teachers, and elders of Mine would never exalt themselves over their brothers and sisters. My chosen ones do not lord themselves over My flock but they serve Me and serve those to which I send them.
Come out of these empty, broken cisterns My people. Come to the Fountain of Living Waters. Come to the River.
"As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the cistern in which there is no water. Return to the Stronghold, O prisoners of hope; this very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you. For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim.. And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; and I will make you like a warriors sword."

Luke I'd posted this in another section but after I read your words that have truly come from Dad I wanted to share it on your post. This morning I woke with a prophetic song of worship and prayer in my spirit that came from Psalm 19:14. And then as I began to read different posts praise began to come forth and I began to hear this song (inspired by the Holy Ghost):
I've got joy flowing like a river in me

I've had some hard times, been up and down
But God has never let me down

Luke I don't know if Dad every gave you the Habakkuk 2 mandate but I want to tell you that you are definitely anointed to write the vision and make it plain. Bro it's so simple that even a little child can understand it. That's something Dad was stressing this year. Make it plain. God's word is very simple in its application but when it's not understood it can't be applied correctly. Keep on moving with HG because Dad is pleased.

Beautiful word, Luke.
It is funny how God has been giving so many thoughts to different people that flow in the same vein. I was thinking of the cisterns and "deep wells" last night, and the scripture popped into my mind, "They have refused the gently flowing waters of Shiloah."
