Faith to Believe in Times of Testing
This morning in my devotions I was reading Isaiah 46:8-13
and verse 10 really spoke to me.
Isaiah 46:10
Only I can tell you the future before it even happens.
Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I
wish.
When I get words of destruction I tend to pray for the
mercy and grace of God to come. I don't want to pray away
what the Lord says because if it’s his divine will it
will happen no matter what. I pray that God's will be
done but add lots and lots of grace mercy and salvation
of souls.
And verse 9,
Isaiah 46:9
Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone
am God. I am God and there is none like me.
On January 8, 2014 in my journal I sensed that God is
going to send destruction to America. I sensed that it
was more like a fulfillment of a prophecy more than
anything else. It had to do with a 'cleanse the earth'
type of thing and the word "TERRIBLE" came to mind.
I don't have any other insights concerning it. I believe
this destruction will come with movements that God wants
to do in earth.
Responding To New Movements
I believe that God is moving today in a way we have not
seen before. I hope that we as believers will be
sensitive to the move of God and not try to stop it or
hinder it. I include myself in that because I am not
perfect in listening to God.
I've heard talk about how every move of God is resisted
by the religious people of that time. Before Paul had an
encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus he was on
his way to stop the spreading of what his considered a
false spiritual movement of God. Fortunately, God's grace
reached out to him and changed his life.
I was listening to a message on the eyes and wings of God
and how God is calling believers to be in alignment of
what he is doing so that we can be able to tell people
where to go and how to get there and what to do and how
to do it. The time of preparation for some things is
still in progress but for others the time is up.
In everything I pray that God will keep his people, no
matter what happens in the earth.
There is this song, "He's Sweet I Know" that is so good
for challenging times to sing.
He's sweet I know
He's sweet I know
Storm clouds may rise
And strong winds may blow
But I'll tell the world
Wherever I go
That I found a savior
And he's sweet I know.
God bless you all.

Isaiah 7:9b (NIV)
"...If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not
stand at all."
John 16:1 NLT
I have told you these things so that you won't abandon
your faith.
