Here's your Lion Bites daily prophetic word from Glasgow Prophetic Centre for 1 October 14
A Pioneering Spirit
I looked and I saw a precious jewel drop into a pool of water and kick up the sand on the bottom as it landed. As it settled there the currents of the water moved the sand and, over time, the sediment built up around the jewel until the shine and beauty was clouded from view. That precious jewel which was so bright and beautiful was soon completely hidden from view as the mud and silt around it covered it more and more.
So it has been for some of you, who are precious and beautiful in the sight of God. You have fallen into a place of settledness and comfort. It's not that there has been stagnancy, but that the muck and the sand of circumstances and darkness, and the currents of life, have swirled around you and hidden your beauty and value, so that you feel as if you are completely hidden from view from others and, perhaps, even from God.
'Recognise where you are right now', says God, 'and get ready. I am reaching down with my hand in these days to take you from that position in which you have settled. I am removing the covering of circumstance and the muck that hides you from view and I am putting you on a straight path. A path where forward movement is required, a highway that will take you to places that you have never been before.
I am equipping you with a pioneering spirit to help you move forward, take ground and establish new kingdom frontiers and outposts.
You will not longer be hidden from sight and the beauty I have put within you will be seen - because you are precious in my sight and I want to display you for my glory! So get ready, get ready to come from that place of settling to a place of pioneering and advancement', says your God.
