It's Time To Leave The Shore, For The More
by Julie Price
This phrase has been resounding in my spirit for some
time now,
“It’s time to leave the shore, for the more.”
As I pondered it with the Lord, I thought about how He
called some of His first disciples to leave their way of
doing things. He called them to come away with Him; to
leave the shore, for the more. As they obeyed Him, there
was a harvest like they had never seen. And it all
started with their willingness to “leave the shore.” Can
you hear it church? God is calling us to the deep, deep
places.
“Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all
your breakers and your waves have gone over me.” (Psalm
42:7)
Church, it’s time. It’s time to leave the shore. No
more standing and watching. No more passivity. No more
self-pity. It’s time to lift up your head and raise your
expectation. God is asking you to take that leap. To
leave the shore, for the more. This does require
cooperation on our part. God is ready to do His part,
but He needs you to take that step and leave the safety
of the shore, for “the more” that He has for you.
Get into the boat and take an adventure in Him like you
have never known or experienced.
Today He is inviting you to step out and come away with
Him into new places.
Let your faith arise. Let your hope arise, and receive
this word over your life and your circumstances today.
He’s calling you out.
YES YOU!!
Will you leave the shore for “the more” that He has for
you? It’s time. Let’s go……
