Hi Tina,

Just a little while ago, I emailed a sister and mentioned how God's children are still seeking His hand and not His heart/Nature. Tina, you know there is a storm coming; today I can literally feel its approach; God's people are not prepared because they have not sought to know Him, they have not allowed Him to build the faith within them that will be needed in this hour/storm; many shall go into captivity again; their minds shall be darkened. It is a grievous thing to know that many of the children of God really do not know or believe the scriptures/the Word. The Lord has had many, I believe, crying out for mercy for His people continuously; they still want to hear how the Lord is pouring out His blessings but they refuse to understand they are in a war and it is going to intensify greatly, so while they're sitting listening/reading/seeking and enjoying all the "good" words through false prophets; the enemy continues to gain ground in their hearts and if they do not repent quickly, they will be overcome by the darkness. I have seen it happen to some already. God have mercy on your people.

Thank you Tina, for continuing to sound the alarm for God's people to get back on trac.

Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace

God bless you sister

love love love

This is a very vital word and a word for this time and
season. May I just add as well that when we are seeking Him
and know our covenant relationship with Him that He says to
ask anything and if we know that He hears us, we have it.
In my walk with God starting out with God, I use to think
it was selfish to want anything beyond getting to go to
heaven. Then God started to show me all that the blood of
Christ encompassed, and started opening up my heart like
the heart of a child. Have you ever heard a child in a
grocery store? There is no timidity. Yet as my love grew,
my desires also changed. But God also started showing me in
the scriptures all that was available, and also started to
tell me to ask for those things. We have not because we ask
not or ask with the wrong heart motive. God does not mind
us asking for things, He just does not want those things to
be first in our life or to take away our first love of Him.
So when we walk with Him as our Beloved, we seek Him first
but we do also freely ask Him for everything available in
His will for us. We ask and it will be given. Seek and you
shall find. This is scripture. It is also scripture to put
God first in everything and make sure that He remains in
that position. At the same time the scripture is important
to know that it is not enough to believe that God exists
but that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
There are many in the churches who don't believe in healing
for example because they have a hard time receiving from
God. They believe in the "seeking God" but fail to believe
in
the gifts that God truly has available because to receive
more from God than salvation to go to heaven is thought to
be selfish. And so there are many who will seek God's
face but are discouraged from receiving all the benefits
that God has available. And we see where others may have
made mistakes in a certain area and vow never to go there
ourselves but then deny ourselves what God has freely given
us through His Word. There are things in the Word that God
tells us to seek after. And we don't want to take away from
God's Word by doctrines of men. It is definite that we seek
first after God and His righteousness, but when we start to
say that we should not seek other things when the Bible
actually tells us to seek those things, we are going into
man's doctrine. We always want to line up things with the
Word and Spirit of God. And I believe your Word is also
vital. But I do believe when God says to earnestly seek
wisdom or earnestly seek the better gifts, that His Word is
to be taken for our edification. I am not sure why some
current teachings are separating God as if cutting Him in
pieces. God's face and hand are the essence of who He is.
If I had a child that told me that He would love me even if
I never did anything for him, it would sound noble, but it
would break my heart. Because my heart is to pour out my
love in expressive ways, not only that, for my son to not
even realize that about me, would hurt me. Would he not
know that my love is so great, that if it were in my power,
I would give him everything! Christ is that way with us.
Yes we are to seek His face, His Presence, but His hand is
the expression of His heart, and just as my hearts desire
is to show my love to Christ through expression, that is
His heart toward me. I do not want to separate the love of
Christ from the expression of his love. His face, His
heart, His hand are His essence.
I do agree that we are never to put things above God, but I
also think we limit God by 'cutting Him up'. People can
start feeling guilty for asking God for things and thereby
limit themselves from receiving from God when He clearly
says to come boldly into His Presence to obtain help in our
time of need. And without faith, it is impossible to please
God. Faith for what? Faith for anything that God can
provide. He is our Provider, so to separate His hand which
provides is actually not having faith when we seek His
Presence or His face. His face and hand are both of His
essence. Rather we should teach people to love the Lord God
above all else and show them in the Word all that the cross
so richly provides and have them receive freely all that
they need in His Presence. But to tell them not to seek the
very thing that they need may actually limit them from
receiving from God. God knows the intents of the heart. And
Jesus said let the children come to me. Children come with
boldness and usually they seek what God provides freely.
Ironically as they grow, they actually become content with
just resting in His Presence without asking for anything
and needing nothing. But part of that is because they know
they can ask for anything and it will be granted, because
their relationship is such that they are sure of His
response.
My heart in this is to not discourage those who are seeking
what God so freely gives as if to bring guilt upon them for
asking, when God freely beckons all to come to Him. We are
telling people to not seek God's hand (those things that
come from God). Yet we do need to base it scripturally, and
there are things that come from God where we are told to
seek those things. I understand the heart of the message,
however, in that we are to seek God above all else, and
that is critical for any time but particularly for the time
that we are in.

I have been searching and asking God about streets of
tar....many years ago like the 1800'a they would shot
cannons with tar into the streets..when disease was
present to purify the atmosphere..I know we carry the
presence of the Lord and wherever we walk we can clear
the atmosphere..with our presence because of his presence
on us and our prayers......I pray to clear the atmosphere
of the outside world that would like to rob us of the
goodness God has for us...Lord help us to dive deeper and
farther and to hunger for All of You..Cleanse me oh
Lord..remove anything that is not of you.....let us walk
with Love in our hearts...geez...the Lord gave my a major
ah haa moment...streets of tar....Oil....yes he has
really been pressing how important it is to be with
him...more of you Lord..less of me...Thank you Lord....

Amen!
I did not know that about tar.
And I appreciate Tina's heart and understand her meaning
behind the message which is toward a hunger for God and to
stir people's love and zeal for God and I understand
Sherry's heart which is so devoted toward holiness to the
Lord, but I also totally feel Rose's heart. I don't want to
settle for less than ALL of God. For those that truly do
hunger after God, time in His Presence purifies us anyway,
so if there are things which need to be dealt with, He is
able to wash whiter than snow. God says in His Word He is
able to keep that which is committed to Him against that
day and present us spotless. If His Word states that, we
need to have faith in His Word and not in circumstances or
our viewpoint which is sometimes in error. Also we can
declare that Word over those who we are praying for. Let
our words and prayers be full of faith for salvation rather
than fear. Faith has power over fear and God's Word is the
power of God unto salvation.
I was just thinking today that the early church was formed
during a time when Christians were being burned alive and
being tortured and thrown to the lions, and the focus was
on Christ but you don't hear fear in any messages to the
early church but you do still hear sound wisdom and the
blessings of God. There are warnings throughout the Bible
to the rebellious, and there are warnings against falling
away from Grace and about returning to our first love, but
to the ones who love God, there is no mention of God not
being able to bless His children during times of duress in
the earth. God says He will bless the righteous. He does
not indicate that will stop when times get difficult.
In fact, all throughout the Bible, God shows up
specifically during those times to show Himself strong on
their behalf. The Bible states that Jacob sowed and
prospered in a time of World-wide famine. In the Bible in
Micah, in the middle of God rebuking the rebellious, He
asks them, Do not my words do good to the one whose ways
are upright? (Micah 2:7) Why do we think that does not hold
true for the time we are living? Do we think blessings are
only Old Testament? Yes, tough times are coming. But
tough times were seen throughout the Bible. Yes, we
Americans have been spoiled to a great extent compared to
other parts of the world. But does that mean that God's
hand is shortened and will fail to save Christians in
America? The dire times may show who truly is of Christ and
who was not of Christ, but for those who belong to Christ,
He is well able to keep those who are committed to Him. We
do need to know the Word, but we also need to know it so
that we can encourage the weak to build them up. God is
faithful to His children and will prove strong on their
behalf in the day of calamity.
He sent from above, He took me , He drew me out of many
waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy , from those
who hated me , for they were too strong for me. They
confronted me in the day of calamity, but the Lord was my
support. He also brought me out into a broad place , He
delivered me because He delighted in me. Psalm 18:16-19 He
is my Jehovah....
