Before time itself was measured, the Voice was speaking.
The Voice was and is God.
This celestial Word remained ever present with the Creator;
His speech shaped the entire cosmos.
Immersed in the practice of creating,
all things that exist were birthed in Him.
John 1:1-3 (the Voice)
In the beginning, God created everything: the heavens above and the earth below.
Here’s what happened: At first the earth lacked shape and was totally empty,
and a dark fog draped over the deep while God’s spirit-wind hovered over the
surface of the empty waters. Then there was the voice of God.
God: Let there be light.
And light flashed into being.
Genesis 1:1-3 (the Voice)

Neat. His awesomeness is almost overbearing… His love and compassion
for us as individuals is humbling and slays me every time I think about it.

Clu, good to see you back on the forum as well. It is so
pleasant to see people you haven't seen in a while, and it
brings up a warm feeling in your heart when you see their
name again.

Thank you Kimberly! I'm actually, usually on almost every morning - doing
devotions, time with the Lord but usually read-only mode :) I love the brief,
powerful profoundness of what Steve's posts typically deliver. Like the
Lord's word - simple. It takes a while to get there, but it really should be
simple. I believe the world has made it too complex and hence seemingly
unattainable by so many seekers… Case in point - the powerful, profound
simplicity of "Love never fails…" I pray send out the Laborers Lord that they
may reveal the simplicity of your word, your promises but that in so doing,
seekers eyes may be opened to the unfathomable depth of your love and
compassion… Amen.
