In a vision yesterday evening I saw a large pair of white and blue running shoes being deposited from above on my desk. They were placed beside my television set. Above that table is a picture of a woman dressed in white reading her Bible.
INTERPRETATION:
At first I thought this pointed to running the race that we, as Believers, are called to run. But it didn’t feel right; it strongly appeared to me that it pointed to something different. By no coincidence, it wasn’t until I read Psalm 19 this morning that its meaning was revealed.
Related Verses:
THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD; and the firmament shows his handiwork. **Day to day utters speech, and night to night shows knowledge.** There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. ***THEIR LINE IS GONE OUT THROUGH ALL THE EARTH AND THEIR WORDS TO THE END OF THE WORLD. IN THEM HAS HE SET A TABERNACLE FOR THE SUN. WHICH IS AS A BRIDEGROOM COING OUT OF HIS CHAMBER AND REJOICES AS A STRONG MAN TO RUN A RACE.*** His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit to the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: **THE TESTIMONY OF THE LORD IS SURE MAKING WISE THE SIMPLE**. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: THE COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD IS PURE (His Word) ENLIGHTENING THE EYES (understanding). The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and RIGHTEOUS altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? cleanse you me from secret faults. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. (Psalm 19)
INTERPRETATION:
The running shoes in the vision were large; they belonged in this case to someone bigger and stronger than me. And because they came from above, it can only point to the Lord who is in this Psalm also known as the Bridegroom in motion; that is to say, as a heavenly Runner who displays His readiness, His velocity, His strength and His power in demonstration of His Word. The Woman dressed in white symbolizes His Bride; a redeemed Church who honours His Word. In brief, He is that Runner who empowers bridal runners (ministers) with His Holy Spirit (the color blue) and with His righteousness (the color white). These ministers are they who continually look to Him to cleanse them from all faults and to keep them from sinning. These are they whose accountability is to the Lord God and only to Him. The television set is a public medium connected to lines that run to the ends of the earth. Altogether, it speaks about His Word going out as a testimony to the ends of the world under the heavenly anointing of the Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to encourage and remind those today who have been called to run this race, to ask and believe that His strength is your strength and that His endurance is your endurance. This is key to overcoming the weariness and fatigue that runners often experience when running marathons. He is our Redeemer who went to the Cross on our behalf. Who is still making available His Holy Spirit of Righteousness, Truth and Comfort during these days of darkness and preparation when the Light of the true Gospel is critically needed. Keep running!
