Isaiah 43:18-19  For I’m going to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun! Don’t you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert!

Isaiah 6:6-7 - this is read today in all synagogues

Then one of the mighty angels flew over to the altar and with a pair of tongs picked out a burning coal. He touched my lips with it and said, “Now you are pronounced ‘not guilty’ because this coal has touched your lips. Your sins are all forgiven.”

Proverbs 3:5,6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not unto your
own understanding. Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways
and He will direct your paths.

This was the first scripture I was given by a dear friend
name Irene the day after I got saved back in 1986. I was
17 years old and on the other side of the world in
Singapore that summer. I was on a missions trip with a
local church putting on a musical production about the life
of Christ called "The Master's Plan". One of the local
guys from Singapore knew that I wasnt saved. At the party
celebrating our last performance he asked if he could pray
over me. When he did, I got baptized in the Holy Ghost and
accepted Christ into my heart all at the same time. Wham!
God hit me, and my life has never been the same. Its been
truly an amazing journey, not without its share of laughter
and pain butim still here and I love Him now even more than
I did that first day. Father I love you. Thank you for
saving me and making me yours all those years ago. Im so
glad that I am yours and you are mine. Amen.

Tagging a "favorite" is very hard, but the one that I've been landing on and
drawn to most recently is one of my favorites by David. (Can't wait to meet
David… :) Psalm 27:13-14

13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
14 Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!

me, but I have a bit of "thing" about it. So while I appreciate the kind thought behind it, I am not comfortable with it.

I have several favorites, but I have a couple that I love to claim and pray over myself.

Eph 3:16-19
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Isaiah 50:4
The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.

(The New Living Translation is lovely...)
"The Sovereign LORD has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will."
