“Light and Darkness”

Today, as never before in humanity’s history events are
revealing for us changes that are taking place in an
ever-increasing manner, changes that are bringing about
the fulfillment of that which God has already spoken. In
reading the scriptures, with eyes of spiritual revelation
and understanding, God is speaking to the lukewarm
Christian community, imparting conditional knowledge
purposed to shake them awake. In this awakening, a
remnant people are truly beginning to see many things
concerning God’s purpose that have remained hidden from
the eyes and hearts of humanity until that which the
prophet Daniel declares to be the time of the end. Dan.
12:4, “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the
book until the time of the end …”
God speaks to us again in the Book of Revelation as John
declares this same truth by proclaiming to us of a period
of time when a progressive sounding of seven thunders
would come forth. These seven thunders are the voices of
progressive revelation, ministered through God’s
messengers, which takes place over a time-period called
the church age. Each progressive revelation reveals
further truth, until the last or the seventh thunder
sounds to proclaim that the mysteries of God are now
finished. These mysteries are those hidden truths hidden
from the understanding of carnal humanity. Rev. 10:2-4 &
7 declare, “He had a little book open in his hand. And he
set his right foot on the sea [heart of the carnal
church] and his left foot on the land [carnal mind of
natural man], and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion
roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their
voices. Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices,
I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven
saying to me, seal up the things which the seven thunders
uttered, and do not write them. … But in the days of the
sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound,
the mystery of God would be finished, as he declared to
His servants the prophets”.
In this our understanding is being enlarged to see that
God’s declared purpose is for a remnant to gain total
victory over the sea (heart of the carnal church) as the
messenger of God places his right foot on that sea. The
sea speaks of the nations and their perverted, darkened
world of deception. His left foot placed upon the land
speaks of humanity in their carnal mind-set. With this
carnal mind-set alive within humanity because of a fallen
nature, it responds to the lust of the flesh, the lust of
the eyes and the pride of life. However, by man gaining
the victory in and through Christ Jesus and His finished
work on the cross, God’s remnant people begin to sound
out the fullness of Christ finished work in their lives.
For even now, the messengers are sounding out the
understanding of God’s completed mystery. In man knowing
and understanding the days of this seventh messengers
sounding, it speaks of God’s meaning of the number seven.
“Seven” a number God uses to speak of “perfection,
completeness and the fulfilling of unity among the
Christ”, His head and His many member body, the
firstfruits.
With the mystery of God being finished, man begins to
behold God’s total redemptive plan. Its unfolding takes
place as humankind begins to behold the final events that
proceed according to the sounding out of God’s thunder.
This last thunder, identified also as the seventh
trumpet, speaks of another coming kingdom. This coming
kingdom, proclaimed across the land today, ushers in a
time when these present world kingdoms are destroyed.
This is a changing of the guard, when God’s wrath comes
to judge all sinful nations, which rule over man by that
same sin nature. Judgment time has arrived to bring
judgment against those who continue to rebel against God
and His pre-offered sacrifice. A sacrifice that has the
power and ability to forgive and overcome that same
ingrained sin nature.
Man’s rebellion must give an answer to Jesus Christ, the
cross and its completed work as well as to those who have
overcome through that cross. Note that even now, in a
loud clear sounding voice, the seventh trumpet is blowing
to bring completion to God’s foreordained purpose. Rev.
11:15 & 17-19, “Then the seventh angel sounded: and there
were loud voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this
world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His
Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever! … saying: we
give you thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the one who is and
who was and who is to come, because you have taken your
great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and your
wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they
should be judged, and that you should reward your
servants the prophets and saints, and those who fear your
name, small and great, and should destroy those who
destroy the earth. Then the temple of God was opened in
heaven [consider mans spirit with the Holy Spirit living
within], and the ark of His covenant was seen in his
temple [whose temple the redeemed are] …”
In these coming great events, no man shall be able to
stand with an excuse. The time of opportunity even now
stands at the door knocking. Unto all those who will
hear, receive and open the door to one’s heart, God
establishes them into His coming new world. The old
natured world in man, crucified with Jesus because of the
acceptance of this knocking Savior. In the receiving
thereof, one world shall pass away by entering into God’s
new world, first within the individual who then from
within affects the world about him. Rom. 16:25-26, “Now
to him who is able to establish you according to my
gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to
the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world
began but is now made manifest, and by the prophetic
scriptures made known to all nations, according to the
commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to
faith”.
In light of the time of today’s sounding trumpet, in
observing the spiritual climate among the Christian
community, understanding and revelation reveals for us an
existing condition. This condition places a large portion
of this community into a place of rebellion concerning
the present day progressive revelation of Gods revealed
mysteries. In this, God confirms again through the
Apostle Paul of His purpose and willingness to make known
to His people the understanding of these mysteries. Eph.
1:9-10 states, “Having made known to us the mystery of
His will, according to His good pleasure which He
purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the
fullness of the times He might gather together in one all
things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are
on earth, in Him”.
In this, God’s good pleasure is to gather unto himself a
people, a creation in which He may dwell within and them
also dwelling in Him. That is to say, a people coming
into a full measure of that which God purposed from
before the beginning of all creation. Just what is the
measure that God purposes for His people? Eph. 4:13-14,
“Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the
knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man, to the
measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we
should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and
carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the
trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful
plotting”.
Thus, we have a Christian community who for the most
part, dwells in a place of rebellion because they refuse
to hear and submit to today’s blowing trumpet of
enlightenment concerning the mysteries of God. Today’s
church must then consider a truth left for us concerning
man’s sin nature and that is a desire to remain in
darkness. As it is declared in John 3:19, “And this is
the condemnation, that the light has come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their
deeds are evil”. With this scripture speaking to the
church, men who refuse the progressive light of revealed
mysteries are choosing to walk in darkness as they refuse
to come into and remain in God’s light. Even though the
Christian community is given the opportunity to receive
and walk in the progressive light called Jesus Christ,
they for the most part desire to remain carnal in their
mind-set and find themselves reverting back to darkness
with the light they had becoming a greater darkness.
Matt. 6:22-23, “The lamp of the body is the eye. If
therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full
of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be
full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you
is darkness, how great is that darkness!”
How could this failure be possible? The Apostle Paul
again shares with us the truth of the church and its
position during these last 2000 years from Jesus Christ.
A church, while with every opportunity to receive and
utilize the sent power and authority of the Holy Spirit,
has chosen for the most part, to remain in a condition,
which Paul calls a knowing and prophesying only in an in-
part realm. 1 Cor. 13:9-10, “For we know in part and we
prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has
come, then that which is in part will be done away”.
While opportunity has progressively been available, the
church seems to desire only to remain in that in-part
knowledge as they reject all that would move them into a
standing before the perfect one, the Christ. Herein, they
settle into comfort zones of complacency and rebellion,
putting God and His ways off into some future event. This
speaks of the need for destruction and wrath, a coming
forth of the perfect one to separate the light from
darkness and a bringing in of a harvest, first the first
fruits and then the complete harvest.
Let us then take note of today’s sounding trumpet, a
revealing of the mystery of God, a revelation of who
Christ is and who we are in Him. Separation time has
come; a call comes forth declaring, “Come out from among
her”, leaving behind the carnal religious systems of
darkness that abides in carnal and rebellious men, to
enter into the light of Gods revealed mysteries. This is
seeing Him as He is and therein becoming like Him.
This is the time declared by God as a sounding thunder.
Rev. 10:6, “And swore by Him who lives forever and ever,
who created heaven and the things that are in it, the
earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the
things that are in it, that there should be delay no
longer”. (Also, read Eph. 3:1-11). In today’s season God
is again saying, “Let there be light”. This light is the
appearing of God’s firstfruits coming forth in His
likeness and image.
