"God's Solution For You Will NOT Be What You Expect!"
Phyllis Ford, Arlington, TX

I have been praying over many circumstances that have seen occurring in our nation as well as other regions around the world. Sometimes it's best to just remain before Him and wait in the calming peace of His presence. This past week I heard the Lord say, "Tell My people to step out upon the waters with Me in faith, understanding that I am with them."

As the Lord guided me in my study time to Matthew 14:22-32, He began to reveal the significance of the Scripture. I saw that the boat was in many ways the vehicle that had carried them from one place of destination to another. If you look deeper you will see that the B. O. A. T was a tool of transition in God's Word used to carry His people to a destination: "Bypassing Obstacles that are Arresting Travel". The encounters I had during these times (specifically the one in Matthew) sheds much light into our now, releasing insight, as His instructions are revealing strategies concerning our next move.

We are in the season where we need to move without delay, but not outside of the guidance of God. So like the Scripture, God is about to constrain (force) those of us who are able to go NOW into the boat, for the purpose of beginning the process that we must go through in this time. This is one that has come to us in the form of a journey and will become the encounter we need to reach our destination.

Here we are in the midst of the sea, and the winds of unrest, political storms, and media chatter has come into direct opposition with God's people. Many in the midst of today's chaos, struggle to see where God really is, but I tell you He is coming another way.

Your solution will not arrive in the form you thought it would, and to many God's move to remedy the matter will be misperceived. They thought Jesus to be a spirit, but who will have the eyes of Peter to see Jesus in the midst of tension and opposition? Who are the Peters who can discern the meaning of "It is I"?

We need to make sure that in this hour, we don't treat God's solution like our problem. Even when we can't see Jesus or where He is coming from, our focus should be on Him. Our trust should be the very thing that keeps us in a mode to anticipate His arrival. They were not anticipating God to show up. We have to trust that God will move and with that comes expectation.

If we are looking for Him in every situation will we not find Him? We must not allow ourselves to become easily distracted, because when we are not focused on the Lord we become disconnected (unaware of His movements). God is always moving behind the scenes, but if we do not watch for Him we could easily miss it.

In this hour, there will be those who will move forward and say, "Lord, if You bid me I will come." There are those of you who are like Peter, who have been misunderstood. Peter was fearless and though there were times when he might have appeared to lack wisdom, He was also the one who had enough discernment to see Jesus. Peter truly knew who Jesus was with an understanding beyond the others. Interestingly enough, this is one of the few times it mentions Peter being afraid. The following words are from the Lord to such a people.

"I Am Raising Up Those Who Are Seeking Me and Searching After Me"

"In the midst of previous mistakes some of you have disqualified yourselves saying that because of your past you were not fit to stand in this place. But I say to you: Come out of that place of self-doubt and be restored. From that moment where you will arise know that I am strengthening you, touching you, and even healing the deep wounds that have hindered your progress. Now I am raising up those who are seeking Me and searching after Me. Those of who have faltered along the way and felt as if they had no real value or worth. I am saying, 'Look again, live again and come forth.'

"Even those whose emotions have carried them into places where hearts have been broken, because they were not filled with the maturity of My Word, know I am bringing answers and you will now lay hold to the hope which I am able to give you and it will anchor your soul. I am cleansing and purifying you with My living waters. In the midst of the humility of your life I am able to lift you up and help to get you to the place of safety.

"You might say, 'Why Lord?' and I say to you: because I never gave up on you. I watched over you even when it was difficult to stay the course, but now you are ready to come. So be renewed and refreshed!! There you will bring others into this way of restoration. Some of you will even gaze upon My countenance as you receive My life as a witness and a mighty testimony of My glory in this hour," says the Lord.

"Watch in this hour for a mighty impetus stirring in the midst of My forerunners as they will go forward to take new ground. They will see in levels of glory that they have not seen. The remnant will gather, conquer, train up and prepare My army. You will also see a mighty anointing upon My intercessors who will pray diligently through the fourth watch and great shall be their victory."

Pertinent Scriptures to Read:
Matthew 14:22-33: And straightway Jesus constrained His disciples to get into a ship, and to go before Him unto the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, He was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto Thee on the water. And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, Of a truth Thou art the Son of God.

Hebrews 6:18-20: Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary where Jesus our forerunner has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

James 3:4-6: A bit in the mouth of a horse controls the whole horse. A small rudder on a huge ship in the hands of a skilled captain sets a course in the face of the strongest winds. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything or destroy it! It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of Hell.
