“It’s Time To Let Go of Your Spots and Wrinkles”

Many of you reading this have been longing and praying for years for more intimacy and oneness with God, and He has come to make your prayers come true because He has been longing for the same thing with you, and has been creating that hunger in you to receive it. So the Lord has been clearing the way lately for this to happen by putting His finger on certain areas of our lives that have been “God blockers” that have kept us in a defiled and distant state from Him. These are the spots and wrinkles that Jesus is getting rid of just before He returns and so that He can begin to fellowship with us as our Head and lead us through this last harvest in a truly clean, free, and whole condition.

^{2CO 6:16} What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

You cannot serve God and idols and expect to be close to Him, it just won’t work; and although God has given us much grace and concessions in the past, now is the day where there can no longer be anymore mixture in our lives; you must serve one master or another. How much adultery could you put up with in your spouse and still feel comfortable being intimate with them? The answer is none, and if you did allow it you would be disrespecting and dishonoring yourself in order to do it. God is no different, and He expects us to be faithful to Him just like you expect your spouse to be faithful to you. But do not fear; the Holy Spirit will help you to change, and all He needs is your cooperation.

^{RO 13:11} And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. ¹² The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

So I want to encourage you today that if the Holy Spirit has been tapping you on the shoulder about certain things that need to go in your life, then do not drag your feet, and get rid of them right away. The very things that we cling to for security are the very things that keep us from more of God, and hidden idols act as little doors to the demonic that kill God’s presence and keep us in a defiled state. The Lord is about to not only visit you in a truly astounding way, but this time He’s about to become one with you for good and abide with you 24 hours a day; are sin and idols really worth missing that over? No. So dear one, let go of your spots and wrinkles now and see the Lord come in like a flood!

^{EPH 5:27} so that He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.
