The New Welch Outpouring - Victory Church UK
On April 10th 2013, God sovereignly poured out His Spirit in a powerful way at our Cwmbran campus. Pastor Richard made the decision that we should continue with meetings until God says otherwise after hearing the Lord speak to his heart: ‘If my people show up, I’ll show up’.
What are the meetings about?
This is a very important question, we get asked this a lot. First and fore-mostly, Victory Church is a local church, serving Cwmbran and reaching other communities right across Wales. We are not a huge evangelistic, television ministry. We are seeking to live out these core values: Passion for the Saviour, Love for Scripture, Rescuing the sinner. That’s where this starts.
If you are looking for a show, this is not it. If however, you want to experience Gods manifest presence, exalt Jesus and go away renewed, then this is the place for you. Many pastors and leaders have been so empowered, that their whole outlook on ministry has changed and they are seeing the lost saved in increasing numbers. We welcome all people and when we say all, we mean ALL. Hundreds have come in as atheists, backslidden, lost, addicted, rich, poor, confused, self-harming etc and gone out loving Jesus as He has reached them. Everyone needs a Saviour.

Today, as we “look among the nations and watch”, we see simultaneously God doing His greatest work of redemption in all of history, while satan is doing his worst evil with accumulative momentum. As the Bible makes clear in the last days, even in the midst of chaos and destruction, God is at work to magnify His Son and put on display the full victory of the cross. We are seeing this in a global outpouring of the Holy Spirit among the nations, with signs, wonders and extraordinary miracles on a scale that100 years ago would be unthinkable! People in communities and cities globally are believing in God’s Word, His promise of salvation and transformation, and responding to His invitation to return to Him in covenant relationship.

Church In The Woods - Raleigh, NC
(Above) A few dozen Christians gather in a North Carolina park for worship, ministry and fellowship with Raleigh’s homeless.
Alice McGee, the subject of media attention last year for challenging the destruction of a homeless camp by local police, worships and fellowships with the homeless people God has placed on her heart. Her friends from Father’s House, a network of Raleigh-area house churches, and others help with outreaches. Some of the homeless are Christians, some are yet to be Christians.
As Alice preaches, the joy of the Lord is all over her."I didn’t know there was such joy in putting everyone ahead of yourself.” Alice, who is a professional interior decorator, did not always aspire to ministry to the homeless. “A baptism of love came upon me and I have so much love I can't stay out of the woods. There is nothing more fun for me than walking around the corner of a trail and finding an unreached people group. We have a steady stream of people coming out of the woods, getting off alcohol and drugs. Still other homeless are veterans suffering from military stress."
Alice says power evangelism is a solution to many of the problems she finds. “People say, ‘These are homeless. They’ve been through so much. Go easy on them.’ I do the very opposite. I kind of just dump everything I’ve got on them quick because they don’t need a 10-year plan to end their personal homelessness. Their personal journey can just be a moment when stepping from darkness into light.”
“We do six discipling services a week. We don’t just love them and leave them.”
