HERE THEY COME!
March 11TH, 2002 Ahoskie NC - Bulletin Danny Steyne, Crossroads
"He lifts up a banner for the distant nations, he whistles for those at the ends of the earth. Here they come, swiftly and speedily!" (Isaiah 5:26)
Here we are looking back on what feels like about six months worth of incredible Kingdom work, but the journey has only been one month long. I am reminded of the day the sun stood still so that Joshua could defeat the enemy entirely. It seems that we are standing in that kind of day. Just six weeks ago, we never anticipated what we were about to see... but oh, we see it. I have found myself weeping in utter joy as I see the Lord giving birth to this baby called "Harvest". I am seeing up close the precious unfolding of events that mark the fulfillment of what I have longed to see all of my life.
The Harvest is beginning.
People from at least twenty cities and towns have experienced the impact of what God is giving birth to here in Ahoskie... almost twenty denominations (not including many non-denominational churches) have come to these meetings that God is doing. Multi-racial and Multi-national ... God is moving. Revival is walking IN the door!
At our meeting last night the question was raised "what did you come here for?" One man right off the street cried out "Salvation!" It's beginning.... open the doors... God is whistling ... HERE THEY COME!
Last week we rented our first Elijah House.... for ministries that have come to the area. They have come clear across the nation, some of them "closing down shop" at home to witness what the Lord has told them is a birth. These Midwives of God's presence are making their way to this little place... just as shepherds made their way to another stable so long ago. We expect to rent a few more houses shortly to accomodate these guests, wisemen, and shepherds who are making their way to see this dawning of promise!
These meetings continue throughout the week ... Sunday nights through Wednesday nights at 6pm here in Ahoskie, NC and Thursday through Sundays in other areas.
Please continue to pray that the Lord will break through completely in the South. A "REVIVAL WAR CHEST" has been established to facilitate ministries coming through and for the "Elijah House's" that will host these intercessors and ministries. "Ahoskie! Can anything good come from there?" .....

We are there? we are standing at the threshold of this Harvest? not only can we see the cloud a size of a man?s fist? we are walking in the reality of the rain that is beginning to pour out on this little place called Ahoskie and throughout the surrounding regions. Besides the fact that in the past five weeks people have been impacted by this tiny town in North Carolina from over forty towns and cities in eight states and from over twenty denominations (not including on-denominational churches, of which there are many)? the water is pouring in the streets.
Visitors are showing up indicating that they are feeling the Presence of the Lord as they enter the city? others indicate seeing His Presence over the city as they drive in during the afternoons? Intercessors and Pastors are
being awakened by the Lord across the Nation to pray for this little place in the middle of God?s humor. How is it that in order to get here you have to look for it? how is it that there are no airports within an hour and a half of here ? why would God cause this to fall in such obscurity? Because precious pearls always have to be sought out ? hidden treasures keep us looking!
What a weekend? Friday night the Holy Spirit once again made Himself evident in a nearby town of Windsor at a large African American community gathering. The story was shared about the footwashing that occurred in Ahoskie, when we washed the feet of our African American brothers? and then the next night drank from a common cup of the Lord?s Table over the spot where a young man was hung in wicked prejudice. The Lord continued
to work a ?healing of the Land? in Windsor? and Windsor was proclaimed a place of ?Royalty?? a place where the King would come! From that gathering we made our way to one of the most incredible nights we have yet experienced here in Ahoskie.
We had been invited to bring the Crossroads Worship Band to the local bar! The place was full - and we worshipped - and we worshipped - and we worshipped - and God showed up in that place. Almost every individual in that bar received prayer and were touched with God's power. This pub had become a house of prayer!! I have seen Christian bands play in clubs and
pubs before? I had always longed to do that - but this was very different - this wasn't playing Christian music in secular environment - this was bringing God into darkness - it was easy to see the darkness tremble - but
the people in the pub stayed - they wanted more - they asked us back - and then on Sunday morning the pub started showing up at God's place.
One young man, went to his mothers house on Sunday morning and told her he wanted to take her to church. She was overjoyed that her son, whom she had sought God for, was asking her to go to Crossroads with him - and then he brought her back.
Sunday night-
The night air is transforming over Ahoskie. Last night we took to the streets and found ourselves at the corner of incredible treasure - the darkest place in Ahoskie - the place that the enemy has tried to hide and cover because God?s greatest treasures are found there! As we approached? some fled! These big guys who are beginning to realize that those who walk with us are bigger than anything they have with them! We had children with us - and
these men and women who have given themselves over to sin and devastation were running from the kids!!!
We ministered to a few? and then we saw it! The Father was pointing out a man ? He walked out of the bar with a fresh beer to hang with his buddies - but the Father was already working. The Lord revealed the secrets of his
heart? the secrets of his pain - the treasures of promise that he so longed for- the hope of a destiny different from the one he was walking in. - How did you know all that stuff?? he asked? - How do you know everything about my life?? -You really shouldn't be here! It's dangerous! You guys are the boldest
people I've ever seen! I've never seen these guys out here running from anyone! What - Who are you???? We've come because Jesus set apart
this night for you Jimmy! We've come because this is the night Destiny lost becomes Destiny FOUND - We've come because it's your time for you, your son, and your wife to experience the fullness of God's power! God sent us?
We prayed - Jimmy found Jesus - or should I say - Jesus found Jimmy - bought him, received him, loved him. Jimmy followed us around - He didn't want us to go. He said, "I've never felt loved like this - you guys really love
me - God really loves me!- He followed us some more - just hanging with us - then he LEFT HIS FRESH BEER ON THE WALL and walked off into
that transformed atmosphere of the night - and into a Destiny with God!
What does Revival look like? What does the Harvest feel like? It looks like the fingerprints of God on everything - it feels like God is in the midst of you and it's increasing and absolutely renders the ways, means, schemes, ideas, and thoughts of the enemy powerless. It's the day of the Dread
Champions of God - those who produce fear in the heart of the enemy - his heart and courage melting away in the Presence of Almighty God?
"You shall not dread them, for the LORD your God is in your midst, a great and awesome God. (Deuteronomy 7:21)

BREAKING NEWS! THE BAR OWNER FROM THE PUT WE PLAYED IN LAST FRIDAY NIGHT, CAME IN THIS MONDAY AND KNEELED AT THE ALTAR AND RECIEVED CHRIST!
