Miracles In Mexico - Todd Bentley

First Night over 162 Salvations and many Miracles

On Wednesday, March 13, 2002 we traveled across the Rio Grande River into Reynosa, Mexico. Reynosa is a city of approximately one quarter million people, 10 miles south of McAllen, Texas. Our destination was the Centro Vida Church pastored by Dolly Salinas. On our arrival, we were graciously greeted by Pastor Salinas.
She told us her congregation had been fasting and praying in anticipation for the upcoming services with Todd Bentley and the Fresh Fire Team. Numerous calls from people from the interior of Mexico had been received asking for directions to Centro Vida Church. One lady flew in from Florida, another from Columbia, and many came from over 500 miles away.
Art Beckwith, one of the hosting Pastors, shared that a week prior to Todd's visit, he had been at this same church for the Wednesday night service. At that time, he saw an Angel of Healing approximately 14 feet tall in the Sanctuary. When Todd came he was able to confirm that he knew this was the Angel of the Lord, who had come to establish a Healing Well like in John Chapter 5.
As we sat in Pastor Salinas' office, we observed many people entering the church needing the aide of wheel chairs, crutches, and many others with numerous physical ailments visible to our natural eye. They varied in genders, sizes, and ages, but shared a common denominator. All were in search of a miracle, a healing, and their friend Jesus.
Service started promptly at 7:00 PM. As we entered into the sanctuary, the praise and worship team had already begun to lead the congregation into the Throne Room of God. There was a sweet spirit, and the anointing of God could be felt. The Sanctuary was packed and they had to bring in the benches from the foyer, and still, a couple of hundred people had standing room only.
The Miracles Begin
As Todd Bentley spoke in English, Pastor Salinas translated his message into Spanish. There were many miracles that took place. One lady was healed of a hernia, another lady said her foot had been healed after having to use crutches for three weeks. Then, a gentleman testified that he had Parkinson's Disease with constant shakes, and had been unable to walk without assistance. His daughter got up and confirmed that he could not even stand without her help. He was instantly healed. He could stand, walk, and had no shakes after he felt the fire of God go through his body.
Later in the service when Todd started praying for people with hearing impairments, this same gentleman testified that he had been healed in his left ear after 30 years of deafness.
Another woman got up and testified that she had a calcified vertebrate, and had been living with strong pain for over a year, and could not bend over. Now every bit of pain was gone and she was able to do what she could not do before.
Another lady got up out of a wheel chair and said she could not walk for 12 years. Todd rebuked the curse of death off of her life, and she was completely set free and walked. Two more people also came out of their wheel chairs. Another lady was healed of pain in her hip.
A little girl, that appeared to be four or five years of age, came up sobbing. She said she felt an intense burning in her throat. Her mother shared that her daughter was scheduled for surgery but now her little girl had been healed and no longer needed the surgery.
Todd received numerous Words of Knowledge:
A woman with a tumor in her stomach that was being healed, Someone with a bulging tumor against their spine was also being healed. He also called out there was someone with a tumor in their lungs that was being healed. At that time a thin and frail looking man came up with a surgical mask over his mouth. We were informed that he had tuberculosis , and that he felt he had been healed by the hand of God. Later that night he also received salvation.
Todd also called out there was someone who was being healed of nerve damage in their left leg. A lady came up and said she had been afflicted for two weeks with this problem and had been completely healed. Then Todd called out there was a woman who was being healed of pain in her hips.
At this point in the service Todd asked everyone to go back to their seats and he began to share with the people a little bit about his testimony. At that point a woman who was sitting toward the center of the sanctuary began to yell out and scream. The ushers brought her up to the front, and Todd ask her what was wrong. She said she felt an intense heat all over her body that caused her to scream and yell out. In addition she could not hear out of her left ear. She also testified that her grandfather, father and other family members were also afflicted with this same hearing problem. Todd began to cast out and break the generational curse of deafness off of her and her family.
Salvation:
After Todd finished his personal testimony he gave an alter call for salvation. Approximately 162 people gave their lives to the lord that night. Pastor Dolly informed us that five of these people were Jehovah Witnesses.
When ministry time began, Todd, Ivan, Dave, and many others, began to pray for people that were afflicted with hearing impairments. A woman said she could not hear and could not understand why she could not hear with her hearing aid in her ear. She took out the hearing aid to check it, and found out the Lord had healed her hearing and she no longer needed the hearing aid. Another lady who had been deaf from birth, started to hear for the first time.
Then an eleven year old boy, who had been afflicted with arthritis from birth, came up crying and crying because he no longer felt any pain. He had been hospitalized many times, and was even at the point of death. Now he and his family sobbed with joy because all his pain was gone.
Another 53 year old lady could not walk with out the aid of her cane because of several breaks in her legs. She was now walking without a cane because she felt the Power of God tremble through her legs.
Another gentleman came up to testify that he lacked bladder control because of kidney failure, and was urinating on himself sometimes every five minuets. He was there to testify, with tears in his eyes, that he had been in the service for over two hours, and had been accident free.
One other woman having been mute and partially paralyzed in her right arm, began raising her arm, and speaking, praising the Lord for her healing.
There were many demon manifestations, too numerous to mention. One particular one that stands out, was a woman who had the spirit of witchcraft on her. She began to manifest uncontrollably. The roof of her mouth was covered with blisters and blood began to come out her mouth as Todd commanded Satan to release his hand off the new believers. Dave and Ivan took her through the rest of her deliverance.
Many lives were touched, healed, and changed. At the end of the service we were again sitting in Pastor Salinas' office observing the joy of the people leaving with crutches in their hands, their hearing aids in their pockets, and pushing out empty wheel chairs.
