God Changes Lives At Back To School Bash

August 5 through the 7th around 250 youth from at least 6 different churches gathered each day in SUMMERVILLE, SC for a Back To School Bash. Revival fire entered the bash and it became a spiritual transformation for the youth and touched the church and community. Local area youth were joined by youth from as far away as Kansas City, Missouri. Total attendance was around 700 excited youth seeking God.
God's life changing glory entered the lives of many teenagers during the Back To School Bash. Many teens flooded the altars nightly crying out for a change in their lives. Many kids were saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Tuesday night altar call time was so powerful that it felt like the rafters where shaking from the war cry of the teenagers. I am getting calls from parents saying my child is waking up early in the morning and having devotions, instead of complaining about getting up for school. Kids our turning on worship music instead of secular music. We had young adults who have testified to God paying debts for them. One girl Whitney said she called a debtor and to make arrangement to pay a past due bill, and the debt collector said there is no sign of the $600.00 you say you owe. God paid it off.
One mother said I went to go into my daughters room and I found her on her face crying out to God for more of Him in her life for over an hour. Mark, a 19 year old testifies about the boldness of God that is on his life now to tell people about the life changing power of God. The Sunday Morning after the Back To School Bash all of the teenagers and college age met with me in a Sunday school class and began to pull down the Glory of God into our 2nd Sunday morning Service.
They then ran to the front of the church and with hands raised high, they began to worth-ship the Lord. They never sat down until the Pastor was ready to preach. They filled the first 4 rows up front. Then altar was explosive. God performed miracles that morning. No one wanted to leave the service; before we new it, it was 1:30pm an people went out the door praising God. God has truly changed our teens and college kids. One girl (Beth) is changing her major to Christian Education and wants to not go to state university now so she can stay here and work in the church.
Groups that attended the Back To School Bash our reporting the same outpouring of the Glory of God in their church services. Revival is here and the youth are grabbing it and spreading it. We will never be the same again, and we don't want to be the same again either.
May God keep the revival fires fresh, and it I pray, burn us daily.
