Gospel Spreads In Indonesia
October 19, 2002
Between the 19th of September and the 10th of October a missions team from Melbourne traveled to West Indonesia to help conduct medical clinics and revival meetings with missionaries there.
They traveled to the two remote islands of Sabu and Raijua that are 300km South of West Timor.
Every night at least 100 Indonesians were saved. During the medical clinics dozens were helped and several healed.
During a night meeting and then at a church service many people were slain in the spirit and fell to the ground praying in tongues.
Also, about 40 people were disciples and 26 have volunteered to start 5 person cell groups on Raijua.
(Raijua has a population of 7000 people and it is very, very, very ready for the gospel to go forth).
Praise God!
- Please pray for the islands as they have had very little rain and they may have to uproot and move. (The team actually sang 'Let it rain' for the Holy Spirit to rain, and the night after it rained physically.)
Location: Islands of Sabu and Raijua, Indonesia
