Our Youth Group Is On Fire

God is so Awesome. Since WRC (World Revival Church, Kansas City) Youth group came to our church in August 2002 our youth group has had a tremendous change. Our youth group is on fire. Every Sunday morning our Youth meet in a room to pull the glory of God down into our second Sunday morning service. When the music begins you will find our youth group run to the altar area and stand with arms raised to God. They will pray and praise the entire time. They are warriors who pull down the glory of God every Sunday. This revival has caused such a change in our Wednesday night services.
We have a separate service for our youth every Wednesday night. Our services used to only have maybe 20 people in it. The fire of God has hit our kids and our services are changing the lives of teens in our city. We average 55 kids now every Wednesday night. We have seen over 50 kids saved since August. We decided to have a alternative for Halloween this Wednesday night. We can only put 80 people max in our youth room. Our goal was 80. We had over 105 teens that show up and for the service. The place was packed out and there were not enough seats even for our staff. We were excited about all the people that showed up. When the music began, the place began to shake with the glory of God that began to overwhelm the place. The worship was great.
I shared the gospel for only 5 to 10 minutes and gave an altar call. I was filled with joy as I watched 35 teens come forward to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts. God is faithful and does not need us but is gracious enough to use us and I am thankful he has entrusted us with the glory of God that will change lives.
Praise God that his revival is sweeping our nation. We call our youth ministry U-turn Ministries and truly God has caused our youth to make a complete change. We have turned from the world and religion and to the world changer Jesus Christ. We have accepted the call to help turn people from the world and from hypocritical religion to our saviour Jesus Christ.
