Fresh Fire Missions

Total crusade Salvations 8,888, Over 25,000 decisions through radio, some 34,000 decisions to Christ in 5 days. 50 to 60 thousand in attendance the last evening. Over 1,800 deliverances from demonic torments and witchcraft. Hundreds of miracles and thousands of healings confirm the gospel nightly.
Resistance to the crusade
Jinga, the second largest city and one of the Islamic strongholds in Uganda. Twelve years previous Reinhardt Bonnke's crusade closed by government after two nights of ministry. On the radio in Uganda, the Muslims threatened demonstrations and government opposition to our crusade. They said they would use everything in their power to stop the meetings. One evening our security team removed what was feared to be a violent attempt on my life, a Muslim approaching the back of the platform with a large sword. The Fresh Fire team was quickly sent to the vehicles because two men with spears approached them during prayer at the altar. This is the most holy month of Ramadan for the Muslims. I want you to know I do love and pray that all those in the Muslim faith meet Jesus and am well aware that not all Muslims are extremists nor violent in their faith. Each morning from across the Nile river, one of the most powerful witch doctors in Uganda could be heard releasing witchcraft and cursing against our team.
There was 31 on our FFM team from Canada, Germany and the USA. After arriving in the country the first day we recorded a program for TBN Uganda and met with radio, newspaper and reporters till evening. This crusade would reach the entire country through two live radio broadcasts for 5 days, reaching over ten million nightly. One of those radio broadcasts was sent over a secular, political channel that reached all of Uganda. One local pastor said that he has never been apart of meetings like this since TL Osborn meetings in the late 70's.
The Rains and Witchcraft
The first evening of the crusade come 4:00 pm the rains came hard. We were surprised that still 5 -10,000 would stand in the rain to hear the word. The first night on the platform I said if the people will stand in the rain to hear the word and be healed, I will preach and pray for the sick in the rain and the meeting went on. The next evening come 4:00 pm the rains came again at the same time. We said this is the power of witchcraft and it was!
The third evening of the crusade after a day of fasting, come 4:00 and 5:00 pm the heavens were clear. Over 25,000 gathered this night. When I was handed the microphone within seconds a dark black angry cloud appeared over the crusade grounds and it down poured. Immediately thousands run from the crusade grounds. The Holy Spirit had instructed me that I ask public ally for all those who have been to a witchdoctor, are possessed or tormented by devils to approach the platform. Over 1,800 respond and during the mass prayer and rebuking the powers of witchcraft, voodoo and sorcery hundreds are struck to the ground manifesting devils. Within minutes our platform is covered with individuals writhing like snakes, vomiting and spitting up, kicking, biting, pulling, screaming and more. I have never witnessed hundreds receive deliverance from violent demonic manifestations like this. Many more we carried in to our deliverance tent. Immediately as we prayed and broke the satanic powers, people watched and as the cameras rolled the heavens parted and the rain ceased. The sky was pink and we received a double rainbow from the Lord over the crusade.
The crowds would swell to 50-60,000 and the rains were beat. The night the witchcraft was broken over 1,600 responded for salvation.
The Amazing Miracles
On the first night, the miracles began. Nine people had tumours healed. Three blind received their sight. Nine deaf received their hearing. One woman completely paralysed, down the entire left side of her body for over 5 months was healed after a devil was cast out. Two of the Fresh Fire team members had their hands on two different women with tumours on their stomachs, some of the tumours are the size of fists or the heads of babies. Both felt the tumours shrink under their hands like an explosion.
Creative miracles ( breast grows new !!)
During the second evening, creative miracles began to take place. A word of knowledge was given for a woman that was born with one deformed lung, when she responded she immediately felt a wind of breath come into the area and the deformed lung. Creating a new lung. One of the most amazing miracles that I have ever seen take place, was a woman known in the community as the woman with one breast. Three years previously, her breast was removed surgically because of cancer! The nerve endings were even dead in the chest cavity where the breast was. During the mass prayer, she felt a fingerling sensation in her breast. Then it cracked, popped and a brand new breast propelled forth! This woman was on the platform weeping tears of joy, ecstatic and screaming and as she stood there, the breast continued to grow. When she was checked, she had a brand new breast the same size as the other. The next day, the crowds more than doubled. In the community the next day, pastors heard reports from the locals. What kind of witchcraft does this white man posses. What kind of soothsayer is he that a breast would grow! Another man who had a leg some four inches shorter than the other leg, grew his leg to normal length!
More Blind and tumours
That same evening, 5 more blind received their sight, 5 deaf hear, 6 more tumours disappear. One person with polio receives healing, woman with two lumps in her breast completely healed, mute boy beings to speak, one young girl with a malformed hip bone healed.
30 years blind man see's
On the third evening of the crusade, one young 12 year old boy that had a hernia from birth in his private area could not afford medical attention. Lived in pain for over 12 years. Hernia was completely healed. One man that I call blind Bartimaius, was led to the crusade by the hand of a 5 year old girl that had faith that Jesus could heal him. After 30 years of blindness, he received his sight. Still another woman blind for over 22 years, received her eyesight as well. As the team prayed, a toddler deaf boy in both ears received his hearing. One man blind in his left eye, partially in his right received his sight. One of the most incredible miracles took place this evening. A two year old child, lame from birth, this child for over two years did nothing but lay motionless on the floor. After over two years, the child could not even sit up by itself, nor crawl. During the mass prayer, this child was touched by the power of God. When the mother brought the child to the platform, the child was laid on the platform, sat up for the first time and in front of over 25 thousand people, this child crawled on its bum 3 times to its mother. The crowd screamed and went wild. The next evening the crowd would swell to over 40 thousand.
The withered hand
The fourth night, 7 more deaf ears received their hearing. 3 tumours, one the size of a melon, dissolved in a few seconds. One small child received prayer from one of the Fresh Fire team after she asked Jesus to be her savoir. This young girls hand was withered from birth, her hand opened, her fingers moved normally. Her hand was withered and completely closed, until Jesus healed her withered hand! This evening, over 3000 would give their lives to Jesus. Every evening, beginning the second evening of the crusade, some ten individuals or more would come to the platform to testify that as the mass prayers went out over the radio airwaves, they were healed. Some would travel the whole day and walk miles in the rain to testify of how Jesus touched them hours away in the Northern parts of the country. One 7 or 8 year old boy who had not eaten in days was bed ridden, sick for some time and could barely speak or walk. When he heard the gospel and prayer for healing on the radio, the power of God touched him and he begged his mother "take me to the crusade tomorrow and I have faith I will be completely healed" the boy was healed, walked and talked. Others testified nightly to the healing of hernia, heart condition, tumours, chronic pain, asthma when they touched their radios.
15-25,000 receive Holy Ghost!
The last evening of the crusade, between 50 and 60 thousand come to hear the preaching of the gospel. During the alter call, another 2,500 give their lives to Jesus. As they stood at the alter, the holy Spirit said, pray that they would receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues, because now that they are saved, they need power to live as Christians. At that moment, after sharing but 5 minutes on how to receive the holy ghost, I asked how many others in this crowd of 50 thousand or more would also like to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, hands were raised further that our eyes could see, some believed that 15-25 thousand received the baptism of the Holy Ghost during the mass prayer. People shook, people screamed, new Christians wept, demons came out of people with violent shaking, I wished you could have heard the roar of thousands speaking in tongues for the first time! Even one of the women on the team said "I received tonight the gift of tongues". This final night, the miracles continued. One crippled man, during the baptism of the Holy Ghost, stood up by himself, left his crutches on the ground, and began to walk as strength began to return to his legs.
Hotel staff and Muslims receive Jesus
This evening, the Muslim manager of our hotel after the final night of the crusade meeting, he said "I have seen miracles for the first time, Jesus was in Jinja." He asked us to pray for his hotel until 1:00 Am, hotel staff gave their life to Jesus and received prayer by the Fresh Fire team. It isn't just about crowds, masses, but as we packed up to head to the airport on the last day, one hotel worker who hadn't received prayer the previous evening, ran up to me and said tears in her eyes, "Can I give my life to Jesus too" tears of joy rolled down her face, and I just about wept too. Jesus left the 99, Jesus left the 50-60 thousand, and it was still exciting to to see Jesus save the one. He is the Lord of the harvest, the harvest is plentiful, I thank God for these 31 labourers on our Fresh Fire team, I pray that you'll be one that will labour with us in the great global harvest in the days to come.

For over 2 years a network of pastors in Malawi, Africa had requested that Fresh Fire Ministries host a Mass Miracle Crusade in Malawi. Just this year we planned a crusade for March 2003, a 4 day miracle outreach.
Recently I was in South America during a 5 day time of prayer and fasting and the Holy Spirit spoke to me in response to the urgency and opportunity to preach the gospel in Malawi, Africa.
"A food crisis sweeping through southern Africa is poised to reach famine proportions in Malawi, where a half million people need immediate food assistance and an estimated 3.2 million face starvation by next April.
Observers expect it to become the single biggest famine of the last 60 years unless relief agencies, American churches and divine help intervene, according to World Relief President Clive Calver. Many of those immediately affected by the shortage are the country's Christians.
The failure of this year's harvest, combined with a similar failure from last year, is the primary cause, said Calver, who just returned from Malawi.
"People began to starve last year. This year they ate the seed and the crops when they were still green," he said. (News Source: Charisma Magazine)"
The Holy Spirit said, "Todd, how can you host a crusade in Malawi in the midst of what could be one of the greatest famines in 60 years?" How can we preach the bread of life and the love of Jesus, pray for miracles when 3.2 million may be dead within weeks of the crusade through starvation? The Holy Spirit said, "Todd I want you to have faith for the feeding of 100 thousand starving people everyday on the crusade grounds during the event
Recently in Redding, CA, I connected again with Heidi Baker based in Mozambique Africa. Rolland and Heidi Baker, of Iris Ministries have provided food, relief and shelter for thousands. Heidi said, "Todd if you will raise the funds for the feeding of the poor, buy the trucks and provide the materials (pans, etc) for the feeding, we will come into partnership with your Fresh Fire Team/Pastors and our Team/Pastors, and we will provide the logistics for feeding."
