Signs And Wonders In Iowa

Tonight was our first night in Alkeny, Iowa at Heartland Assembly of God. The church was packed to full capacity with standing room only. As the crowd passionately worshipped God the presence of the Holy Spirit filled the sanctuary in a marvelous way.
Matt ministered on the "Preparations of a Forerunner". He shared on how John the Baptist was prepared in the wilderness, a place of separation, consecration and intimacy. When God is preparing you to be a voice He will draw you out into the wilderness place to be consecrated and separated for His purposes. Matt also shared how Jesus was prepared and tested in the wilderness before being empowered with the Holy Spirit and how Moses encountered the fire in the burning bush out on the back side of the desert. He also shared from the life of Elijah who was finally able to hear the still small voice of God in the wilderness cave. Sometimes you need to be away from all the distractions and voices around you to be able to hear the still small voice of the Spirit within you. That is the wilderness place, the secret place of communion with God. It's out of this place that God releases us in power.
As Matt ministered the word many responded by giving their lives in complete devotion to the purposes of God. Apathy, lukewarmness and complacency were renounced as the people prayed to be filled with a fresh fire of the Holy Spirit. Matt called out several prophetic words for the young people. As he laid hands on them he began to prophecy their ministry gifts and callings and released an impartation of the fire of God. The altar area was full of young people powerfully touched by the Holy Spirit. Some lay on the floor for quite some time shaking under the power of the Spirit. God was doing a deep work.
Then the healing anointing came into the atmosphere and people began to receive a healing touch from God in their bodies. Matt called out many words of knowledge for healing with the power of God moving mightily on people's bodies. Many testified to receiving instant healing.
There were several dramatic healings including one man being completely healed of a tumor in his head. As the power of God came upon his body the tumor completely disappeared.
Another young girl testified to being completely healed in her back with the lumps and pain in her back completely disappearing.
There was yet another woman who testified to all the pain in her back completely disappearing as well. For four years her back had pain just at the touch. We were pushing on her back with no pain at all!
Over the next several days many more received a healing touch from God.
A woman who had suffered from Carpal Tunnel for years and had 6 operations was completely healed by God's power!
The last night of the conference Matt called out a word of knowledge for back's being healed. He physically felt the word of knowledge as if something were being pulled out of his back. Suddenly three people experienced instant healing in their back area.
Another boy had his foot and ankle healed and another young man's throat was instantly healed. He testified to feeling "an electric zap" in his throat. And another man's knees were completely healed. There was a woman who testified of being completely healed of back ciatic pain.
