Feb 15 - 17 & 19-20, 2004
Sunday night we attended a meeting with Hamilton Filmalter, our friend from South Africa who has a healing ministry. We had taken Nani & Zoey with us. During worship Nani sat on the floor with here eyes squeezed closed. When we asked her what was going on she replied that Jesus was filling her with oil and that the oil got in her eyes and she could not see very well. After the meeting was over and many people were healed by the Lord we started to get ready to go but Nani said; no, we can't go yet, I need to be prayed for first. So we brought her to Hamilton and as he asked her what she wanted prayer for she simply said;" I want Jesus to fill me with oil." Hamilton laid his hands on her and just asked the Lord to fill her. Travis was holding her. She sat up straight, but as she allowed Jesus to fill her, her body 'melted' and she was like a rag doll in Trav his arms. When we asked her what was going on she said :"Jesus was filling me with oil and I just was all mooshy."
As a result of Nani feeling the Lord touching her she wanted to go again to the meeting on Monday. Zoey said too, that she wanted to be touched by Jesus. And so we went. We brought our neighbors, Linda and Ray, with us. Linda, has suffered muscle diseases and we were standing in faith with her that the Lord would touch her. And he did ! She felt pain leave her body as Hamilton prayed for her. The Lord is so Awesome! What a testimony to her broken family of the power of God !
From childhood and up I have always known that one leg was quite a bit shorter than the other, of course this created problems with the position of the hips and spine as they try to correct themselves but instead get crooked. Anyhow, to be honost I did not really have too much faith for my healing. I believed for others, but since I had been prayed for so many times in the past... I wasn't so sure anymore. Yet Monday night a seed of faith was sown as people from the night before gave their testimonies on how the Lord had instantly healed them. When Hamilton sat me down to see the difference in lenght of my legs we were all surprized at the large difference. He commamded in Jesus name that the leg would grow out. I felt like a growth sensation in my upperleg and we all just watched my leg grow out !!! I was in complete amazement ! That wasn't all though ! He than prayed for my hips to allign in Jesus name and there seemed to be a shifting in my body going on, than he prayed for my spine and my lower back that always hurted and was so stiff, every part of my body obeyed to the name of Jesus and came in complete allignment!!!!! Thank you Jesus, You are so awesome !!!!!!
Hamilton asked Travis to pray for this other man who also had difference in leg lenght as Travis prayed for him the Lord made the leg to grow out !!! Talking about faith builders...
Let these praise reports and the power of God touch your life. The only reason for the healings is that Jesus paid the prize for us all as he died on the cross and rose again to draw all men unto Him ! Be encouraged what the Lord did for us he can do for you! - Travis & Astrid Withrow

Kyla, Haven, Boy on the way and I witnessed something AMAZING Sunday. I think it hit me -Eric- harder than anyone in our group. We met Travis, Astrid, Nani & Zoe Withrow at the Melody Ball Room last night. Many of you know, Hamilton is there this week. He's doing some of God's healing work.
When we arrived, we joined the Withrow's and others in praise and worship. After worship, the Pastor said a few words and introduced Hamilton. Hamilton began by preaching the Gospel as it relates to Jesus' radical healings, and the authority we've been given to do the same. Afterward, all prayed and invited the Holy Spirit. Then, Hamilton called those needing healing to the alter. Many came with aches, pains, injuries and other infirmities; many were healed. Awhile later, as Hamilton was working through the line of people, a man in his early to mid-30's came up to the end of the line and waited his turn. The man was clean shaven, well groomed and appeared nervous. Hamilton continued working through the line, until he reached the end of the line and man described above. Hamilton asked what type of healing the man needed. The man explained he was celebrating 40-days of being clean & sober. Hamilton said "Glory to God." The man agreeingly smiled and said, "Glory to God." Hamilton then asked the man, wether or not anyone had ever prayed with him about his addictions. The man said no. Hamilton asked the man what had led him to a life of addiction. The man began to weep, claiming his addictions were the result of not feeling loved as a child. Hamilton then began to pray. Hamilton spoke in the authority of Christ, commanding the spirit of rejection to be gone. By all measure, things appeared to be going fine. However, when, in the authority of Christ, Hamilton commanded the spirit of addiction to go, the spirit spoke back. It yelled back, "NO!"
If you've never witnessed something like this, it's quite shocking. I don't care how many movies you've seen, it's a much different experience in person. My knee jerk reaction was to pray out loud, and I did: "Come Jesus, Father save this man!" After that, it was just a mixture of Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, etc. My words didn't make sense, but spiritually I knew they were intensely and clearly focussed. It was odd, to say the least. Others around me were speaking in tongues, weeping, praying and singing.
Hamilton was obviously led by the Holy Spirit. He began shushing and calming the demon, but the demon kept yelling "NO!" Then Hamilton calmly said, "Be quiet, in the name if Jesus Christ." Immediately the demon was silent. Then Hamilton spoke with an much greater annointing, "In the authority of Jesus Christ, I command you, spirit of addiction, be gone." The man yelled, "Gone." We all continued to pray and Hamilton continued doing God's work. By the time Hamilton was done, the man was free, and the Lord was glorified.
What I witnessed cut me to the core. It made me think of all the protection I've been provided, even in the days when I didn't walk with the Lord. It made me think of all the times I've been angry with God, and how forgiving He's been. It made me think of the times He's woken me up in the early am hours, asking me to come spend time with Him, only to hear me say I'm too tired. It made me think of the healing and mercy He provided through Ted, Tom (My Paster) and Karen. It made me thankful for friends like Travis & Astrid, our church and the entire body of Christ. Truly, It made me buckle at the knees, in awe of God's power and mercy. I'm more grateful than I think I've ever been, for the love, mercy and protection God has shown me.
Finally, when Kyla, Haven, Boy on the way and I got home last night, I made an announcement. I said, "From this day forward, I don't want to ever hear anyone complain about praying ever again." I said, "We are going to pray as a family, every day of our lives. We will pray in the morning, in the evening, and every meal in between. We will thank God every day, for our very lives." Haven quietly agreed, as if she knew there had been a shift in "the force." Kyla quietly smiled and told me she loves me. Then, our family prayed and went to bed.
My hope and prayer is that this lengthy testimonie glorifies God and some how makes you want to spend more time with Him. Though He doesn't have to put up with us, He does. God is merciful, gracious, loving, most mighty and majestic. He is the Lord of Lord and King of Kings. He's sacrificed it all for you and me, and I just wanted to publicly give my eternal thanks. Monday night you prayed for my hearing and the next day, when I was talking on the phone, I noticed it was awfully loud, and I had to turn it down! The T.V. sound is turned down also from what it was and people don't have to repeat themselves so much. - Bobette

I had a curved spine & pain & pressure in the back. I had to bend over at work to relieve the pain because I'm on my feet all day. When you prayed the pain & pressure left and I am pain free at work. My legs were uneven, but they grew out and evened up, Thank you, Lord! - Tere Galligan
I had inherited a sway back from my Mother. It was throwing my whole spine out of alignment. I felt it was stronger right after you prayed for me. No pain now! My lower spine is straight. The muscles to the side were sore for a day or two, adjusting to the new position. They feel fine, now! - Mark Krsak
Praise the Lord God he has set us free. Keith (My Husband) woke up this morning and is in no pain. None none none. He said his body was looking for the pain but there was none. He is working and is set free. He got totally healed me to. While Hamilton were praying for his healing the Lord was all over me. I felt I would not be able to stand. I knew Keith would be healed if he would just yield to the Lord. Praise God. As I was standing there I knew he was getting healed and joy was coming all over us. The second time he came up and Hamilton prayed for him and the healing and deliverance of the bad thoughts and anger and bitterness to leave. It left Keith and I was sitting at my seat and I felt it leave me too. I needed healing for that as much and God did a whole thing. I felt in my head, in my brain, this dart leave and a peace come over me such peace I am still feeling today. He is healing me of the bitterness that came from the anger. Praise God I just want to go and lay down in the presence of the Lord but I have to work. - Patricia Clowers
I usually wake up in the night because of the pain in my right hip that goes down my right leg. I had prayer for my right hip on Tuesday night and I have not had one night of pain since then. I do housework for other people and I have not been bothered with pain at all even though I purposely was not easy on my hip to test my healing. Thank you Lord! - Sara Modrall
When Hamilton asked people to lay hands on wherever they were sick, I plugged my nose with one hand & laid my other hand over my heart (emotional). Hamiton then called everyone forward who could feel that God was touching them, healing them or if they felt heat in their body. My body was very hot, so I went forward. God cleared up my sinuses and Hamilton asked me what else? I replied that I needed God to touch my heart (emotionally not physically). He prayed for me and circumstances got worse for me when I left that evening, but God gave me strength to stand up for myself and hold onto my joy. When I laid down to sleep that evening I felt a supernatural glory & light hovering over my head, like angels' wings. I smiled, feeling the protection of the Lord over my emotions & spirit. I had the sweetest sleep !It was beautiful what I experienced! The next day at a luncheon meeting someone called me out, not knowing what I had experienced, and prophesied to me, giving me Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of The Almighty. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." - Sandra Larsen
I have had curvature of the spine since 12 years of age. I am now 55. I had pain in my right hip for a long time. I was not able to sleep on that side & had pain when standing or walking. I was prayed for by Hamilton on Sunday & the Lord straightened my spine. My right leg was 1\2 " shorter than my left leg, and it grew out even. I have had shoulder pain for years. After being healed I have painted my house for three days with no pain. I even laid on the floor to paint the trim in the kitchen, on my right hip, when I couldn't even lay in bed before! No Pain!
Tuesday night I had a head cold, & received prayer & my head cold left. It was gone right away! Also there was a prayer for a closer relationship with the Lord, and I have had a much closer relationship with Him since Monday! I am so happy to feel so much more of His presence! - Melody Lynn
