Thousands Gather In Sialkot Pakistan - Wesley Paul

For the last few days I have been in Sialkot, mission station of the great John (Praying) Hide. His tears and prayers for souls are being still answered 100 years later.
Pakistan Harvest Festival Draws 15,000 over a period of 3 days. 3,500 make decisions for Christ
What began with 500 on the first day, increased rapidly to 5,000 the second day and 10,000 the third day. On the first day rains caused havoc and confusion, for three hours the rain poured until the meeting began, yet 500 braved the wet and flooded streets. The scheduled venue was drenched by the rain, therefore could not be used. A small hall on the mission compound was secured and utilized to gather the people. They sat like sardines in a can.
The circumstances did not change their attitude. Pakistanis have a great level of tolerance and resilience for averse circumstances. As they worshipped God the air was charged with celebration and great expectation. God did not fail them.
A well-known singer from Pakistan by the name of Majid Masih from Lahore joined me to lead people in worship. Brother Masih brought the presence of God into our midst through his ministry.
Anwar Younas my host and organizer of the festival along with his team did a fantastic job in bringing more than 50 churches to participate in the festival. The local police station provide 15 officers to secure the grounds and my safety. God is good he not only gave us a great harvest, but has seen me through with no harm or danger. Praise the Lord!
It was awesome to look over a sea of people and preach the gospel. Many eagerly listened and responded the call to follow Christ without hesitation in front of their community. More than 3,000 made recommitments, and another 500 made a first time decision. Praise God for this awesome harvest souls. It is fitting because it is also their harvest season of their crops. The church has been revived to a great extent and souls have been saved. Glory be to God!
Signs and Wonders
We at least witnessed 2 people receive hearing. Several who had sickness, pain, tumors and other illnesses were healed. Every night at the end of the festival, hundreds thronged to the platform to receive prayer. Oh, how desperate many are for the touch of Jesus! My heart was moved and broken as many reached out to touch my hands, yes, even my feet.
Pastor’s Conference
More than 300 pastors, evangelists and church leaders attended the conference. Many testified to receiving a new passion for souls and a fresh anointing for their ministry. Pastor Muskeen, pastor of the largest Church of Pakistan, Trinity Cathedral “My heart has been broken and revived with a new passion for souls!”
Pastor Muneer Angelic, “I was really revived and blessed by the message and God has touched my soul…I was fishing in the pond, but now I am going to go and win souls. I especially enjoyed Wesley’s illustrative preaching style.”
Rev. Javed Slyvester from Presbyterian church, “It was a really a life-shaking conference. It gave me mercy and passion for souls. In these two days, I have gained a new power to equip my church and prepare the church to raise up evangelists.
Pastor Saleem, Faith Pentecostal Church, “The message shared by Wesley met a real need of our churches in Pakistan, we need to go and win souls and raise up people to go and evangelize Pakistan.”
