Denmark Tour, Report # 1 -- Matt Sorger

What a trip it's been in Denmark. My travel partner, Kim Quistgaard, a native to Denmark also with a powerful revivalist call on his life, and I criss-crossed the country in two weeks ministering to 12 churches. There was a powerful impact made on the nation as the Holy Spirit's power was poured out. There were many salvations along with many miracles, healings and deliverances. Each meeting was unique and I know many lives were touched for eternity. It was a preaching marathon for me. I broke my record ministering 17 times in 14 days sometimes 3 times a day. We preached the word, healed the sick, cast out demons and prayed for the impartation of the Holy Spirit.
I can only share with you some of the brief highlights of what took place. The response from the pastors was wonderful. Many commented not only on the power that was present in the meetings but also the balance and soundness of the ministry and the word preached. They were excited to find that we are planning a national conference next year in 2005 for Denmark with many expressing the desire for us to return. The lasting fruit was wonderful to see.

Wind Mills in Denmark
DAY ONE
Our tour began on Sunday April 24 at the Holbaek Free Church in Holbaek. It was a wonderful beginning with 17 responding to the altar call. For some it was their first time in a Spirit-filled church. There were also several healings that took place.
Christina Nilsson testified to having a disk in her back healed.
There was a word of knowledge given for pain in the left shoulder and two were instantly healed. Birgitha Hansen testified to healing in her left elbow and arm after a word of knowledge was delivered about the Lord healing a woman's left arm.
Corrina Mikkelsen shared a powerful testimony of being set free from suicide, stomach, back, and heart pain. "When I came to church in the beginning of the evening there was such a pain in my back that I couldn't sit on the floor, so much pain in my stomach, such a pain in my heart I felt it would explode, also suicidal thoughts. But when I left the church that night I could sit on the floor and I knew more than ever that Jesus loved me and cared for me and that I have a purpose in life."
Three people testified to receiving angelic encounters several weeks before the service. These were unchurched people. This was very significant because the pastor had shared with us that several weeks prior to the meetings he was praying and felt unctioned by the Holy Spirit to pray for angels to be sent out to bring in the harvest. It was a significant experience for them that caused them to come to the meetings. They didn't know why they were coming but felt compelled to come when they saw it advertised in the local newspaper. They received Christ as Savior and were powerfully touched by the Holy Spirit.
There was one woman who was a practicing Muslim for 10 years. She gave her heart to Christ as well.
There were also children touched by the power of God. One little girl, 7 years old, was weeping under the Spirit and fell to the floor when the power of God came upon her. Her mother was also deeply touched.
Another newly saved woman was touched by the power of God and let out a "Yee-ha" as she fell to the floor under the Spirit's power.

Pentecostal Bible College in Denmark
DAY THREE
On Tuesday we ministered at the Pentecostal Bible College of Denmark. There were 60 students as well as teachers and visitors from the community.
There was a word of knowledge for a stomach problem. A young lady responded and was fell to the floor under the Spirit's power after receiving a prophetic word. She testified later of the great impact it had on her.
There was also prophecy released over the worship leader. She was so touched she cried for an hour.
Susanne Christensen testified to being completely healed of pain in her wrist and congestion in her head and sinuses.
There were many prophetic words delivered to the students confirming God's call on their lives and later they testified to their accuracy.
Jane Holm testified to receiving healing in her knee.
Later that week the students testified during the President's Chapel about how their lives were impacted during our meeting together.

Great release of prophecy & detailed words of knowledge!
DAY FOUR
Wednesday we ministered in Kilden Church in Orum. There was a great release of prophecy and the detailed word of knowledge during this meeting.
A woman was called out with a heart condition with the condition being described in detail down to the direction of the flow of blood from her heart. There was also a powerful and accurate prophetic word delivered over her life.
Several others received prophetic words including 5-6 people.
There was also a woman called out with diabetes with the accuracy of her age being revealed beforehand.
DAY FIVE
Thursday we traveled to Troens Ord Church in Brande.
There was a man deeply touched by the Holy Spirit and was set free from depression and felt a heaviness lift off of him. Thank God for His delivering power.
Several came forward for the altar call and gave their hearts to Jesus.
DAY SIX
Friday we ministered in the Apostolic Church in Vejle.
Many responded to the altar call for salvation from the community. As we led them to salvation in Christ the presence of the Holy Spirit swept through the room releasing a healing wave.
After a word of knowledge was given for healing in the left elbow a man responded and was instantly healed.
There was also a woman powerfully healed of a severe hip condition that she had suffered from for many years.
