She walked in on crutches and walked out holding them over her head!!
We are now in Zurich where 1,600 people sought the presence and fire of God at a conference sponsored by Swiss, German, and Austrian Vineyard churches and held in a city sports arena. Words of prophecy and impartation were delivered Friday night with a fire and intensity that surprised many people not used to seeing people respond to the touch of God by falling down or shaking. On Saturday night, the fire of God fell with anointing for healing as the American and European teams received many words of knowledge and dozens of people reported complete healings even before receiving individual prayer. At one point the crowd broken into spontaneous cheers, celebrating Jesus' healing presence. One young woman came to the meeting on crutches and left holding them up in victory, a smile proclaiming her touch from the Lord. Others were delivered from satanic bondage. On Pentecost Sunday, Randy called for the impartation of spiritual gifts and greater anointing. Believers responded with intensity, seeking prayer that followed out into the streets as the building needed to close at 11 p.m. and God continued to minister to his people beyond that hour. On the way back to the hotel, we saw a group of young people, including the 14-year-old girl mentioned below, praying in a circle on a city bridge. During the day, the Vineyard's youth group, Steeper and Deeper, heard about street evangelism from intern Jamie Galloway, then spread out into the city bearing the gospel along with small gifts of candy and information about the Vineyard churches in Zurich. Bern church pastor and overseer of the German speaking Vineyards, Martin Buhlmann delivered the Sunday morning message, telling the audience that "Jesus is a kangaroo" with a pouch that carries us, if we are willing to climb into his pocket. He says to us: "Till now you've seen what you can do. Now I want to show you what I can do." On Monday morning, He did just that, sending the Holy Spirit in power to call dozens to the front as Randy spoke of offering our lives for mission work.

Randy had given an invitation for impartation and we started to pray for people. On Saturday morning, I saw a guy I had prayed for the night before, so I went over to pray for him again. I had received a word for him before that God was granting him authority in the spiritual realm, but he had no reaction so I figured it had just been me and not the Lord. When praying for him again, I received a word very close to the one of the night before and I told him, via a translator, but there still was no response. Sometime later, a man came up to me and told me that the other fellow couldn't understand anything I or the translator was saying, because the fellow spoke Romanian. He translated the word and the other man immediately responded and thanked the Lord!

Twenty-four-year-old Julia walked into Saturday night's healing meeting on crutches and left celebrating the healing of a broken leg. She had broken the tibia bone in her leg three weeks earlier while training with too much intensity for a marathon. As the meeting entered prayer for healing, Julia said she felt the peace, love, and mercy of God envelope her. "I felt peace about many things," she said. She was healed without anyone laying a hand on her and left the building holding her crutches high. The next day she was able to take a long walk without pain, and she returned for the Sunday meeting without crutches.

I had three deliverances that followed similar patterns. All these had strongman of rejection. They were unwanted or abused in their early childhood. All three were set free of numerous demons. One was loaded with fear, fear of man, etc. All her physical ailments left her. She felt great. Another man had much sorrow because of the rejection. His countenance completely changed as the demons fled. We left him happy. A third woman was also set free of many demons regarding rejection. Jesus came to set the captives free and He is faithful!

Yvonne, a 14-year-old girl, requested prayer for blurry vision that was degenerating to the point that her glasses no longer helped her. After a short period of prayer she reported her vision was slightly better. Thomas, a translator, and I prayed a little while longer, and she reported her vision was now about 60 percent better. I told her we believed for 100 percent healing and that if Jesus could heal the blind he certainly could heal degenerating vision. After more prayer, she opened her eyes, blinked back tears, and gave me a big hug. No words were needed. She later testified to the entire audience about her healing.
