Larry Silverman Calla, Lockhart, Texas "a Honey Hole"

Many times we go forth on ministry trips and we return never quite knowing all that the Lord has done in the lives of the people we minister with and to. Last month I was gone nearly 3 weeks on a very exciting ministry trip. One of my stops was Lockhart, TX (county seat of Caldwell County). A year ago the Lord placed Lockhart on my heart. It's another location that I call a "Honey Hole." These are places around the Nation where the Lord has shown me that His intentions are to make it a center of His coming revival. By the way, He's seeming to make small, out of the way towns and locations His Honey Holes. It's kinda like taking the foolish things of the world and confounding the wise with them.

Healing Meetings Report
for June 1012, 2004
First of all, a big thank you to Larry Silverman with http://www.citytakers.com/ Vision of Hope International Ministries, who ministered for 3 days here in Lockhart. Blessings on his family, who supports him and makes the sacrifice to let him go where the Lord leads.
The first thing that people ask (and rightly so), "Was anyone healed?" Here are some of the testimonies:
* One lady brought her son, who is in constant pain and on several medications. The doctors cannot diagnose what is wrong. He came on the second night (Friday) and was still free of pain on Sunday. He didn't go up for prayer, but a discerning eye saw that the young man's healing came from the worship music.
* I just had to tell you that John's ear is still healed; it had been draining since he had surgery, when he was in prison. Well during prayer on Friday, his ear stopped draining of any drainage. Today, June 16, 2004, his ear has not had any kind of drainage. Praise GOD. (this same man went up to rededicate himself to the Lord)
* A gentleman, that is on dialysis on a daily basis, attended the meetings every evening. Although, he has not yet received his new kidney, he said he is feeling great; much better than before. We are believing for his complete recovery.
* Another gentleman received a miraculous healing after the meetings. He had been in pain. On Monday, following the meetings, he had some kind of experience and the pain went with it.
It's important to note that healings may not occur instantaneously, but progressively. So, in addition to these reports, we are looking to receiving others…
Larry said that Lockhart has been on his heart for about a year now. About three months ago, he and Paul hooked up to participate together in what the Lord is doing here in Lockhart and the region. The meetings were held in the Lockhart City Council Chambers, which is noteworthy in itself. Larry and the House of Prayer released many prophetic and apostolic prayers over the city and region. Much of Larry 's teaching keyed in on dispelling the lies that have prevented us from fully moving in the gifts of healing. Much of it has to do with the state we are in as a church. Once we get revelation of the faulty foundation of the church, the truth comes flooding in and sets us free. In many cases we have been lulled to sleep by the "church system," and we wonder why we are so powerless to produce the fruit of the Kingdom. We personally see many, who have this revelation, stop short of really walking in the "revolution" the truth brings. The fear of man still weighs heavy on their spirit, so are unable to walk in the truth. Our prayer, for one outcome of these three days, is that the spiritual release made into the heavenlies will be received by those hungering for the Kingdom of God and for revival. Revival can't be scheduled. Revival is something that starts within our hearts. We begin to change and become convinced of how deceptive our hearts really are, and we give it up to the Lord.
On the Monday after the meetings, Paul received from the Lord that the "heavens were open," and that it's time to press into prayer. We would encourage you to seek the Lord during this time for your needs and the needs of those around you. Also, lift up the city of Lockhart and the surrounding area (24 counties) for this coming revival. During the meetings, much was said about "preparing the way" of the Lord.
From an apostolic perspective, these healing meetings were another stone in the building of the revival here in Lockhart. One of Larry's messages is on being in the proper position and in the right timing. We, at the HOP, are excited about what the Lord is doing here in this little "manger."
Really…there is a change coming…
