Charles Ndifon In Tübingen, Germany - A Wave Of Healing And Salvation

Between June 30 and July 3 2004, several thousand people attended meetings held in the TOS Church 'Revival Tent' in Tübingen, Germany. Hundreds of people were healed: over 150 people filled out cards detailing their healing, and another 140 healings were documented by assistants. In addition, 200 people gave their lives to Jesus, according to a TOS report. Of these 200, though, only 18 came to the 'Starter Party', again illustrating the limited integration of new believers into the church following large evangelistic projects. However, the many authenticated healings are significant.
Here are some of the reports:
- an alternative healing practitioner, disillusioned of his own healing ability, brought all his patients to the meeting. Many were healed and gave their lives to Jesus.
- one woman was able to stand up from her wheelchair for the first time in years. She enjoyed her new-found freedom so much that she developed blisters on her feet from all the walking.
- a young man went forward one evening, and was surprised to discover that he was healed of the neck and back pains which he had suffered since an accident 15 years before. The following day, he brought his young son, who needed thick spectacles to correct his eyesight; his sight was completely restored.
- a young woman suffered from a milk allergy. When Charles Ndifon called out that people allergic to lactose were healed, she tested herself by drinking a glass of milk. She did not react at all. Over the following days, she discovered that her allergies against nuts and apples had also been healed.
- a 12-year-old girl had suffered from neurodermatitis since birth, with strong symptoms on her entire body. She was healed during the children's event on Saturday afternoon. She can now eat everything, the rashes have disappeared and the inflammation is receding.
- a theology student suffered from glaucoma. When healing was called out for her condition, she noticed that the pressure in her eyes had vanished.
- one man suffered from Parkinson's Disease so strongly that he could not write. He was healed, and filled out the healing card himself.
- an 11-year-old boy needed hearing aids on both ears. He was healed, and was later able to converse without his hearing aids despite the loud music.
- while Charles Ndifon was speaking about healing, a tumor on a woman's thyroid gland vanished.
- a doctor from near Tübingen received healing on one foot. The following day, he sent a family to the meeting. The father, who had various diseases, received multiple healings, including the restoration of his hearing in one ear, which previously only worked 10%.
The healings in Tübingen have continued since Charles Ndifon's departure. In the Sunday service following the conference, people were healed of arthrosis and varicose veins.

The reports about meetings with Charles Ndifon sound like the Bible: "the blind see, the lame walk, the sick healed and the oppressed set free!" No, not only in Asia, Africa or South America - in Europe too! Following a series of meetings with Charles Ndifon in various parts of Germany, many previously sick people report of their healing. Some were healed on the spot, others over a period of time. Plagued by a headache, I asked Charles Ndifon whether he also sometimes suffers from headaches or a cold. "Only unbelieving Christians give me a headache, and I have no idea how to spell 'cold'," says the father of four sons.
When asked how God led him into this ministry, he answered with a question:
"Which ministry? I do not have a healing ministry. We must simply do that which the Bible tells us to do. Jesus' command is clear: 'heal the sick!' I do not pray for the sick, I heal them."
"Charles, that's all good and well, but have you also experienced failure?" I ask.
"If you want to be successful," he replied, "you mustn't let failure hold you up. I have resolved to do only that which leads to success. I don't bother with other things."
"What do you think are the main hindrances to healing?"
"Ignorance, particularly ignorance of the Bible. I spend most of my time replacing Christians' unbelief with faith. Some hold on to their doubt. Unbelief often comes through a diagnosis: 'you will never be able to move your arm again' or 'you will never be able to walk again' an so on. These statements limit us, putting our thoughts in a corset, convincing us that we really will not be able to move our arm again. Of course there are physical facts which also limit us, but I simply change them. Facts can change, but God's Word never changes! Faith is also a gift, which comes through the Word. Legs are there to walk on; that is the normal order of Creation. Everything else is abnormal. People are healed through His Word, not because of me."
"Is it simpler to heal Christians or non-Christians?"
"It is easier to create faith in non-Christians. They often react very positively if you suggest that God wants to heal them. I tell them that I have good news for them. It is so simple! Many Christians have often received prayer or tried various things, without success. Such negative experiences cause faith for healing to shrink. They are jaded. That's when the healer's faith comes into play."
"What do you recommend typical Western Christians should do?"
"I have three points: firstly, read the Bible! Secondly, put what you read into practice! Thirdly, read the Bible again!"
"You have experienced many miracles in the 17 years of your ministry. Which was the most spectacular?"
"For me, one miracle is no greater than the other. Seeing five people raised from the dead in one evening was impressive. I am also astonished every time missing body parts grow back."
"What can you say to the connection between healing and church planting?"
"I see many people come to faith in Jesus through physical healings. That doesn't only happen in large events. I heal people in restaurants, in their homes or on the street. I also believe that we should start new churches with new believers." Infected by Charles Ndifon's fresh faith, I drove home and commanded my headache to stop. The pain vanished immediately, and has not returned since!
