We Are The Temple Of The Living God In Temple, Texas

We are the temple of the living God, a God who is there for us even when we feel lost and broken. He is the God that will pick us up and set us free as we move in Him. Know matter how much we are broken He will find a way to help us if we let Him. Jesus will take away all our pain and rejections if we allow Him to. He wants us to be who He wants us to be, not who we want to be. He wants us to move in the spirit with Him, not in the flesh. We are a spirit being who lives in a natural world. A world of rejection, abuse, and insecurities. We are not of this world and the more that we understand that we are to move in the spirit with Him in control, the less we are of the world around us. Who are we and who will we be. We are the children of God who move by His spirit not by our flesh. So He wants us to be totally free of this world and to live in the spirit with Him.
This can not happen as long as we live with our past and what has happened to us. Temple was a church that lived in it past. A church of many broken people who Love's Jesus. A church with a Pastor and a assistant Pastor who love Jesus and all the broken people that Jesus gave them to watch over. A church that loves the downtrodden and rejected by society. These are the people that Jesus sent us to, when He said to go to the broken and downtrodden and set the captives free.
When we went to Temple Texas to Pastor John Fox's church, we didn't know what to expect. We made a commitment a long time ago to go here. The Lord told us to leave the Rio grade Valley and go and then come back here. We knew that we would be gone for one week only, because this is what He told me. Right now, two of our members of our praise and worship team from Coweta OK have continued the meetings in Temple. They called us yesterday to tell us that the Glory of God is getting stronger each night and that they have seen the Glory Cloud in the church each day. People are still being healed and set free.
While in Temple we seen people healed both physically and spiritually. Men and women both who had been raped and physically abused as children and as adults were set free. One lady had one leg shorter then the other by almost 3 inches saw her leg grow out and all the pain that she was carrying in her back left. She also was healed of rejection that she had as a child when her mother left her when she was a baby. Another woman who was almost deaf, ears opened to where she could hear without any problems. One woman was in a car accident 38 years ago and had pain in her back and legs and couldn't kneel down at all for all those years, was healed and she was on her knees for a long time praying each night during the services. We were having two meetings a day and many and I mean many things were happening as these people learned to move in the spirit and let the flesh go and to realize that they are the temple of God. Freedom came and it is staying in this church in Temple, Texas.
We had David and Toni come and play and sing from our church and one night Toni just started singing Freedom for a long time. As she started to sing we all felt like we were in heaven at the Throne singing to the Lord. It was just angelic in the way that it sounded. Many people were set free of much bondage as she sang. It is a time that I will never forget, because I was being set free from some things in my life as she sang. There was not one person that wasn't touched as she sang. When we let go and let God be who He wants to be then we will see many things that we have never seen before. It is all about Him and not about us or what we think it is about. God works in many ways and if we think we know God we don't know Him at all. Jesus is not a formula to follow, what we think is right could be wrong just because we never understood it, or seen it before. If someone ever came to our meetings and thought that church is The same always, would have a very hard time being at it. Because Jesus is the same yesterday and tomorrow which means that He is free to do what He wants to do as long as we get out of the way. He ministered to the people in many different ways so why do we put Him in a box and that he can only do things the way that we think it should be done.
Last night we were in Weslaco Texas again at Pastor Vernon's church for the third time while we have been in the Rio Grande Valley. Things are starting to happen in a special way, now that many of the people have been set free of much bondage and are truly learning to move in the spirit of who they are in Christ. It was so beautiful last night as we just entered into His presence. Jesus just spoke to all of us and touched us with His Glory. All I can say that as we move in His word and His spirit many things will happen with who we are in the spirit. As the presence got stronger last night you could smell a sweet smell like Rose of Sharon in the front. Some people who were standing their praising Him just fell down under the power of God. It was like He just layed his hand on them and down they went. It was just so strong and refreshing to be in His Glory. People just went into His presence and just worshiped with Him. Then He had a word of knowledge for some and the power of God hit them like a punch to the stomach. He then healed some people's backs and other things. Bondage were broken off as people weeped in His presence as He set them free. His Glory was throughout the place and His presence is getting stronger each day. All you have to do is walk into the sanctuary and feel His presence so strong. The fire is starting to burn. His Glory is so real in our lives. It is for us 24 7. Let Jesus be who Jesus wants to be, not who we think He is. Some times we just don't understand the different ways that He works in people and we try to interpret what is happening with human eyes and can miss what Jesus is actually doing in a persons life. Be free in Him and not in this world around us.
