Iqaluit, Canada - God's Flag That Declares Glory!

You may not have yet heard about what the Lord has recently been doing in the Canadian North, but many are now beginning to report on the great revival of God's glory that is taking place with the Inuit people of the Arctic. After years of struggling with the influence of alcohol, drugs, suicide and painful memories resulting from abuses and murders, the people of the North began to embrace the saving power of Jesus Christ. This has resulted in seeing a renewal of the people's spirits along with the renewal of natural resources that had depleted when spiritual darkness covered their communities and villages. A few testimonies of this transformation were reported on the "Transformation II" video produced by George Otis Jr. of the Sentinel Group, but many more testimonies of the Holy Spirit's power have yet to be told, as this wave of revival glory is sweeping through the communities of Baffin Island and the Ungava Penisula.
We have personally seen and witnessed this precious move of the Holy Spirit among His people in Nunavut and Nunavik. Amazing creative miracles have been happening in church meetings and even outside of the church while these people are going about their daily routines. Healing miracles where cancers, tumors and growths supernaturally disappear. It's always glorious when heavenly dentistry is performed by the Lord on these people, as their aren't any dentists in these communities and so many residents have dental problems. We've seen gold and silver teeth come in people's mouths just as they're praising the Lord in worship. He's straightened and re-arranged teeth also.
One of the most amazing testiments to God's glory at work is the story behind the official Nunavut flag. The new territory of Nunavut was recently formed in Northern Canada, and the territorial flag was officially adopted on April 1st, 1999 - representing the Inuit people (formerly known as Eskimo). The man who designed the flag is a Holy Ghost filled Christian who has been touched by this recent revival of God's Spirit. The symbolism behind this flag that he created is a testimony of God's work in his life, and among the Inuit culture as a whole. Official Canadian government documents and literature will describe the meaning behind the flag as follows:
"The colors blue and yellow symbolize the riches of the land, sea and sky. Red is a reference to Canada. The Inuksuk (centered) symbolizes stone monuments which guide people on the land, and also marks sacred and other special places. The star is the Niqirtsuituq (North Star), and the traditional guide for navigation. The North Star is also symbolic of the leadership of the elders in the community."
But many Inuit tell of the true meaning behind the flag, including the artist who designed it:
" the white on the right side of the flag represents purity through Christ, who is displayed at the center of the flag as His blood (red) covers the cross (Inuksuk) of calvary, giving men salvation and access to Him and His glory (yellow), seen displayed on the left half of the flag. The yellow (or golden color) also represents the miracles and signs and wonders that God is doing. Jesus Christ portrayed as the bright and morning star is also seen on the top right hand corner of the flag."
This flag is flown freely all over the Canadian North and the nation of Canada representing not only the Inuit people, but also the work of the Holy Spirit which is being seen all across the great white North.
In these days of the Christian church being persecuted, and evils of all kind coming into influence it is refreshing to know that God's flag of glory and salvation is being flown from all over the top of the globe - covering the many nations and countries of this world in a symbolic representation of righteousness and purity.
