TWO DEAF AND DUMB BROTHERS...HEALED IN JESUS' NAME!!
"Go back and report to John what you hear and see: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor." Matthew 11:4,5
Greetings to you from Ongole, India. We have just completed our first four-day crusade here in Ongole. It has been an amazing time of seeing the heavens open and the power of God descend on our team and on the people of India.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday we held morning and afternoon meetings for the pastors in the area. Over 300 ICM pastors were in attendance as well as three thousand other pastors and lay people who had been invited. These meetings were powerful times of teaching, encouraging and impartation for the gifts. Many healings, blessings and deliverances were seen in these meetings.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights we held crusade meetings. There were over 40,000 in attendance at these meetings. The crowds were packed in so tightly that it is almost impossible to accurately state the numbers. 40,000 was easily the minimum with some estimates as high as 100,000 by Sunday night, the last meeting in Ongole.
Here are just a few of the testimonies recorded to give you a taste of what God was doing.

The first person I prayed for in the morning was a young girl who had a large lump, a tumor, on the right side of her stomach. I prayed, "Come, Holy Spirit. Tumor, go in the name of Jesus!" It disappeared completely. Praise God!

During the prayer time, I prayed for a 65-70 year-old woman who had stomach pain. As I laid hands on her belly, I could feel this abnormal pulsing, which I sensed was demonic. She was healed completely. I then prayed for an 18-25 year-old woman who had pain in her left heel. This took a long time but she was healed completely! I got so excited with God that I stood up and kissed her on the cheek. I knew Jesus was loving on her! She received the love.

The Spirit of God moved strongly. Two people on separate times came and asked prayer for deafness in their left ears. Both were completely healed within seconds of prayer. One woman had demons and had a severe headache for two years. The power of God cast the demons out when I prayed and the pain instantly left. A small boy, 5-7 years old, was crippled and could not bend over or squat. I prayed for just a few seconds, people were pulling on me from behind me; I turned to see what they wanted. I laid hands on them for a blessing. Meanwhile the little boy behind was lost in the crowd. I continued to pray for the folks when suddenly a noise in the crowd arose. I turned and saw people praising God. The little boy was bending and stretching. He was completely healed. The crowd went crazy. After that the people had so much faith because of the little boy's healing. Everyone I had laid hands on received healing. I lost count after twenty plus. The Indian pastor that was translating for me confirmed all of the healings. Praise God for His Grace, Mercy and Love for the people of India.

I saw God heal a brother that had knee problems where he could not get up or down without pain. After God healed him, he could do deep knee bends. I also saw God heal another man of leg pain in his left leg. After God healed him, he could walk freely with no pain. God healed a young man with pain in his neck and at the base of his skull. I could tell he was healed when his face lit up. God healed another man of carpal-tunnel. He had great pain and no strength in his hands. After God healed him he could grip my hands firmly. I put pressure on his wrists to test it and he smiled because there was no more pain. A young man came up for prayer with both ears almost deaf. After prayer and no results, I interviewed him. He was saved just four months ago with a background in the occult. We led him in a prayer of repentance and renounced all occult practices and forgave his prior generations for the same sin. We prayed again and there were no results. During the third time praying, God popped both of his ears completely open!

Two boys were brought to me by their mother. She asked me to pray for the oldest who was deaf and dumb. After the prayer, I asked him to make a noise and he spoke. I had to ask the mother if he had really been deaf and dumb because he spoke so clearly. My interpreter said, "Yes, he was." She pointed to the mother's youngest son and said he was also deaf and dumb. I didn't believe her at first but she insisted he was in fact deaf and dumb like his brother was. The Lord came and the boy heard and spoke. I got Pastor James to make double sure both boys were deaf and dumb and both were healed. He confirmed it.

A young boy who was deaf in both ears came up. I commanded his ears to open and hear. I felt like I was supposed to blow into his ears so I did. My interpreter started snapping his finger in his ears and he heard in both ears!!! I've been battling with horrible laryngitis for several days and today I woke up with my voice gone but I came in Faith. Tonight a father brought his young daughter up. She was about ten years old. She could hear but could not speak. We prayed one time and she was able to release something of a "hallelujah." I prayed a couple more times and she spoke with total clarity! I also prayed for an older woman who was deaf in both ears. She was even holding them as if they were in pain. I ended up having to pray several times, commanding them to be opened. I again felt like I was supposed to blow in her ears too. I felt like God was releasing this life-giving breath even as He breathed into Adam and he lived. The right ear opened all the way and the left opened partially.
These are just a few of the testimonies from the first three days. Were we to list them all, this report would be a small book. Sunday night however, took everything to a completely new level.
Throughout the whole time the intercessors were in intense warfare for the people of India. God was leading them in very specific ways to pray, binding ruling demonic spirits of the region and nation and releasing God's Spirit and His heavenly host to do battle in the heavenlies. One of our intercessors had received a vision from the Lord that Jesus wanted to walk among His people and touch them personally. One of the biggest keys to this was that the people had to lift up their heads and look to Jesus alone as God alone. Get their eyes off of their idols, off of their 350 million gods, off of the worship and fear of man and cry "Only Jesus is Lord!" Each day there was a little more breakthrough and we saw a little more response from the people and an increase in healings and deliverances each night.
Sunday night, January 30, however, was amazing. We were received as one would receive royalty, with garlands of flowers, salutes, songs and fireworks. The people of India were receiving their King; the bride was celebrating the coming of her Bridegroom.
Sunday night's intercessory prayer time was described as "Giving birth to a baby while on the field of battle." In the meeting that is exactly what was happening. A new baby was being born. Thousands raised their hands to indicate that they had been healed just from the words of knowledge spoken at the beginning of the message. During the message, thousands raised their hands to indicate that they were being healed as Randy spoke. After the message, thousands raised their hands to receive Jesus as their one true God.
Jesus was truly walking among the people and touching them Himself, which was so important. It would have been impossible for the 70 of us to touch the thousands and thousands of them. Even more so, the people needed to be touched by God personally so that there could be no worship of man mixed into the moment.
After the meeting there was about 45 minutes given for any who had not received healing to stay and be prayed for. The number of people touched, blessed, healed and delivered during this time is impossible to calculate. One member of the team described it as a Holy Spirit firing line. All she had to do was lay her hand on someone and they were healed. Each healing took literally seconds. Many team members said that the first night, out of the numbers of people they prayed for, only one or two people were healed. This night, only one or two of the people they prayed for were not healed.
Another beautiful thing that happened was that some of the team members started asking their interpreters to pray for the people. Many of the interpreters were young Christian teens. It was incredible to see God move through them to heal as they began to lay hands on people and pray. Their faith was skyrocketed! These are the ones who will be carrying on the work that God has begun. All praise belongs to our Lord God in heaven, for He has done great things!
Please don't picture this as a neat and orderly event. The people were so hungry, so eager to be blessed and prayed for. People pressed in on all sides, so many it was almost impossible to move. Many were asking for healing but many also just wanted to be touched and blessed. Many, many students came asking for prayers for their studies, "and as many who came and asked, received." Only time will reveal the impact of this night as these students who have called upon Jesus as Lord, rise up to lead their generation into new life in Christ.
Celebrate with us as we rejoice in the work of our Awesome Lord God! A bride has been taken and a baby born. Pray that the bride remain faithful and that the baby be nourished and raised in all the power and grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray also for us as we move on to Nellore. The same format will be followed here, with meetings for the pastors in the morning and afternoon followed by evening crusades. As God is breaking ground here in India and bringing thousands into His kingdom it is crucial that the existing church in India rise to the challenge. These pastors who are coming and receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit for healing, deliverance, evangelism, pastoring and teaching must engage these gifts immediately. They need to be united, one in Spirit and purpose. They need to be confident of their identity in Christ, throw off the shackles of the caste system and man made hierarchy and step out with boldness and courage and power and love, above all, love. If Christ is truly revealed as the God of extravagant love that He is, India will come flocking to Him and this nation, which has lived under darkness and curses for thousands of years will become a nation that blesses the world for Christ. Join with us in prayer as the Lord woos India to His side.

God deals a blow to the enemy in the Tsunami area of India!!!
We have finished our second crusade here in Nellore, India, only 10 miles from the coast where the Tsunami hit India just over a month ago. This time we held meetings for three days, with India Christian Ministries pastors’ meetings in the morning and afternoon and open air crusades at night. The pastors’ meetings were awesome times of the Spirit moving in powerful ways to impart the gifts and ignite the fire of the Indian church. God has truly begun a new thing that will not only impact the region but eventually the nation for Christ. The number of pastors was much smaller than in Ongole, about 600, but this allowed for more focused times of ministry and impartation.
The evening meetings were amazing as well. We expected these meetings to be much smaller than our first crusade in Ongole where we saw regular crowds of 40-55,000. Nellore only had 1 India Christian Ministries Church and they told us to expect crowds of maybe 5000. But even the first night there was over 15,000 and these crowds grew to over 25,000 by the last night! The hunger is incredible! God was healing many simply by words of knowledge and the accepting of Jesus as their Lord and Savior. During the ministry times the majority of the team reported that almost everyone they prayed for was healed, as it had been on the last night in Ongole. There was also a huge shift in people’s attitudes. They responded with much more joy and many more smiles on their faces.
The intercessors were given very specific orders from on High that our only weapon in this battle was to be worship. We dedicated the field where the evening crusades were held with a time of the whole team worshipping in unity; singing, prophesying and declaring the Word of the Lord. The intercession times during all the meetings were powerful times of worship and declaration as well. The enemy wanted eyes turned to him, but as long as the focus was kept on Jesus, the enemy had no power. The second night of the crusade, we had a word of a baby being here in Nellore, whose name was the River of Life. While we were here, one of the national newspapers reported that in many places in India, wells that had been dry for years had suddenly and inexplicably become full of suddenly full of sweet, potable water. Speculation was flying heavy as to why and what it could mean. We believe it was a visible sign in the natural of what God was doing in the spiritual. Praise God, for He has done great things!

I had been praying for approximately 20 minutes, God was healing everyone that I had prayed for so far. I was full of faith. I saw out of the corner of my eye a deaf mute that I had prayed for the night before. He stood there with the same oppressed look in his face as he had left with the evening before. The enemy tried to come against my mind, saying he would not be healed. I cast down that thought and began to pray for him. After the initial prayer his eyebrows raised and he made a sign with his fingers representing he could hear a little bit. After the second time praying I spoke to him,“Mahima, Yesu Nammu Lo,” which means “Glory in the name of Jesus”. He repeated the words and his countenance changed with a huge smile and he began to laugh!

At the crusade, amongst the people, there was a man who was in a three-wheeled cart. I did not know but later found out he had polio since a baby. He was 45+. I prayed for him for 40+ minutes. After the first five minutes I grabbed an interpreter and asked him what was wrong with the man. The man said he had heart trouble and could not walk. For the next 30+ minutes I prayed blessings, commanded healing, revelation of the Father’s love! (This was the focus) and prayed in the Spirit. The man grabbed onto me and quickly fell under the Holy Spirit. I stepped into intercession in the Spirit and saw a vision. He and I became one, Jesus descended upon us. I repented for his sins as if they were mine. Felt release and increase of something from God in the man’s life. I kept praying for revelation of the Father’s love. Towards the end the man began to pray out loud, quietly at first and then louder. I had no idea what he was saying. The translator came over and told me that the man was accepting Jesus into his life as Lord and Savior and that he was repenting for all his sins, even the ones he couldn’t remember. The man began crying out for healing and God’s grace. The man received salvation. He tried to walk but couldn’t but did testify to feeling a change in his heart. What a miracle salvation

The last day of the crusade I’m guessing I saw at least eighty people healed. There were so many people and time was so short I decided to try something different. I asked for everyone in the crowd who had headaches, for example, to raise their hands and put them together. Then I would pray over them as a group. They were all healed, with smiles blooming and cries of “Praise Jesus.” There was only one man whose back pain just wouldn’t leave. I felt the Lord prompt me to ask him if he had accepted Jesus yet that night and he had not. I brought him to one of the local pastors. I saw them talking and praying with him but I do not know the outcome of that conversation. Seeing the groups of people healed this way really built the faith of my interpreters. As I had to leave and run for the bus they said, “Just pray a blessing for healing over everyone standing here, they will all be healed.” I think the most important aspect of the whole crusade was the gifts imparted and the faith built in those left behind. They will be the one’s to carry on the work that God has begun.

Many deliverances in the evening service, and God moved powerfully among the people in the morning as well. At the night, the second lady to manifest during the sermon got saved, healed and deliver. She had a demon in Ramanan, the goddess of her village, which caused a mass in her abdomen. As we prayed, the mass shrank most of the way, although not completely. She also was set free from a spirit of fear. She renounced Hinduism and accepted Jesus.

A little over half of the way though Randy’s message, people started bringing demon possessed people behind the stage. I thought to my self, “That’s strange. It seems to be the first time for that.” Then they brought one man in on a cot. He looked to be in really bad shape. He wasn’t demon possessed. He just needed a miracle. A few team members started laying hands on him. I went over for a little bit, but I was more interested in what was happening to the demonized. I honestly didn’t have any faith for the man that needed a miracle. At one point everyone stopped praying for the man. Some of the worship team, all young Indian girls, kept praying for this man. I suppose because I saw their faith, I went over to this man and started praying for him. He started moving like crazy and motioned he wanted to get up. So I picked him up and tried to get him to walk, but he was too weak. I thought the man moved his body because he was so excited. I didn’t know it was miracle faith going on there in his body. He had been hit by a bull a month and a half before and had become paralyzed. You could prick him with a pin and he couldn’t feel it. He got complete feeling back in his whole body. I was too dense to realize that a miracle took place right before my eyes!
And here is one where you get the feel for the constant power that was flowing in these meetings!

Last night I prayed for a young boy, about five or six years old, he was deaf in one ear. His ear opened immediately when I prayed. I prayed for two boys, brothers, both had headaches and also one had a fever, totally healed. Prayed for a lady who had pain in her neck, shoulders, knees and hands – the pain totally left after I prayed two or three times. A young woman who looked about five or six months pregnant came for prayer for her abdomen. It had been distended this way for five years since she had had a c-section. I saw her stomach shrink and the pain left. Prayed for an older woman in her 50’s, deaf in her right ear, prayed for a short time and the ear opened. She was so happy. Praise God! Also prayed for two or three young women with stomach problems, another with a parasite in her stomach, I prayed that it would die and pass from her body and the pain left. Prayed for five others, one with hip pain, two with pain in her side and two with back pain, they were all healed. Praise God! Awesome night!
Salvation and Life have been born here in India. By a powerful move of the Spirit, God has raised up an army of pastors, leaders, and committed youth equipped with the gifts of the Spirit, strengthened with boldness and motivated with passion to go forth and touch India in the name of Jesus. It may be a small beginning, but God loves the remnant. Keep praying and interceding for India as she steps through this new door God has opened.
Because of the numbers of people present at all the meetings, it was almost impossible to keep an accurate count of healings and salvations. When you are looking at thousands and thousands of people, crammed together shoulder to shoulder and back to chest, it’s kind of hard to count the number of hands raised for healing and salvation. Very conservative estimates are 7-10,000 salvations per night and at least that many healings! We try to keep more accurate count of what happened as our team members prayed at the end of each service. These are the numbers that were reported from the team:
Salvations -- 72
Emotional Healings & Deliverances -- 105
Physical Healings – 2563
Of these physical healings we had
Blind or mostly blind now seeing – 174
Deaf or mostly deaf now hearing – 177
Tumors or growth disappearing – 88
Lame or those not walking now walking -- 39
Most people said that things were moving too fast to keep a truly accurate record of all that was done. So we praise God for His work and trust that He knows, not only all the miracles, but the number of hairs on each precious souls head.
On a more prosaic note, I know many of you would like to know more about the Tsunami victims. We were able to visit two villages that had been struck. The greatest damage done was to the huts right along the coast and to the fishing nets and boats. The huts are the easiest to rebuild, although the lives lost can not be recovered. The loss of the fishing nets and boats is what is killing the people now. These villages fished for their daily sustenance. Because they can not fish they are now totally dependent upon outside help. We were able to help ICM deliver a large quantity of rice and lentils, but once that’s gone they will just need more. We took an offering from the team for nets and boats that was quite generous and beautiful to see. Thousands more are needed however to help replace all the nets and boats damaged. Global Awakening is working with ICM to ship many containers of supplies for these villages which will include fishing nets. Thank you all for your prayers and support of God’s work in this vast country. We have no doubt that we will be hearing great things over these next few years as this move of the Spirit reaches critical mass. Randy has already been invited back for more next year. You can send your estimates as below, but I also want my and James estimates. Obviously, I think James’ is high and I also think yours is low, not only the total figures for the night but the percent healed and saved. It would be interesting to have the team reply as to the cumulative crowd number and the cumulative healed and saved.
Here are my figures, and James’ based upon my asking him each night how many he thought were present. The percentage healed and saved are based upon my estimate, James never guessed the percentages, other than the one night when he agreed that at least 80% minimum were waving they were healed. This was the night you told me I stated it wrongly causing more to wave, again, when I asked the translator if he had translated it that way he said No. He knew what I meant and fixed it to only wave if you had received a healing that evening.

Tom, we each have what we feel was the totals and each has their own perspective regarding the percentages of people who were waving their hands for healing and salvations. I know there may have been a few nights when the percentage of healed wasn’t 60% but I also believe there were several nights when the percentage was over 75% and one night it was between 80-90%, the largest night.
Since there is a difference of opinion I don’t mind having the difference posted. Just indicate I think yours was too low and James’ too high.
