Team just returned from a crusade in Mitu, Colombia.

Mitu is a small city (the only city in the state/region) just a few miles from the Brazil border on the banks of the Vaupez River .. a large tributary of the Amazon River. Mitu is the capitol of the state and it has no roads to the outside world. Every thing and every person must be flown in by a small airline or air freighter.
As the region is very deep in the Jungles, the surrounding settlements are very primitive Indian villages consisting of many different tribes and dialects.
Many of these people came to the meetings and were touched mightily by God.
MANY WARNINGS AGAINST GOING TO COLOMBIA
AND ACROSS THE ANDES TO MITU
Before leaving the US the Falanys received many warnings to stay away from Columbia because of the incredible danger there. It is considered by the US and Canadian governments as one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Between the drug cartels and the political wars with the guerrillas it has the highest number of kidnappings every year. Even at the Bogotá airport, while waiting for the plane, the team was harshly warned by a business man to cancel their flight across the Andes to Mitu.
But when God calls He also protects. As well as a powerful anointing the team experienced an uncommon spirit of hospitality from the people. They were even given a personal military escort by the regional Governor and the Mitu Mayor to an Indian village known as a dangerous area of guerrilla occupation. There Pastor Henry was able to protocol the Chief of the village with gifts that were hand-made by the Miwuk Indians of Mariposa, Ca.
THE HURD FAMILY
The Hurds and their three precious children, obeying a call and mandate
from heaven, moved to Mitu five years ago from California and opened a
River/Revival church there. They have given up much comfort to obey the call of God on their lives. Their living conditions are such that most Americans would be appalled to live that way. But God has blessed them and they have been instrumental in bringing the Glory to a place no one else has cared to dwell in.
THE FIRST AMERICANS
According to George, the Falanys are the first American preachers to
come to Puerta Abierto and Mitu and hold a Miracle Healing Crusade.
MANY MIRACLES AS THEY CAME AS LITTLE CHILDREN!
Before the first service even began Pastor Henry shared with Pastor George that he had a prophetic word that God wanted to heal some people before the praise & worship and new bible dedication service began. With Pastor George’s agreement God started by healing an older Indian man of severe arthritis pain in his body. As Henry, and the man freed from pain, ran the isle together with joy others stepped up and they were healed also. Needless to say revival was under way! The healings and miracles were coming so fast Pastor Henry told Anne, the team member he had previously asked to record the miracles, to forget it. She couldn't keep up with them as they were too numerous to record by one person.
Jesus Came To Preach, Teach and Heal
Pastors Henry and Grace preached for four days on “The Fundamentals of Healing.” They emphasized that healing and miracles was a central issue with Jesus and not a peripheral issue, and that the miracle working power of God had not passed away but is as much here today as it ever was.
Wycliffe Translators Deliver New Testaments
The opening night of the meetings was a very special night. The Wycliffe translators had just recently completed a 40 year project of translating the New Testament into the language of the Kkacua Indians. The first of the new bibles arrived in Mitu the same day as the Falanys and the first part of the service was thededication of those bibles. After they were handed out to members of the tribe, Pastor Henry had the privilege of preaching and demonstrating their first message from their brand new translations. The text that night was Matt. 4:23 & 24
Some Of The Miracles
A man with arthritis pain all over his body totally delivered from the pain ~ A young girl with a growth on her neck, the growth disappeared ~ a baby with a growth behind the ear went down as hands were laid on ~ eyes
were healed ~ ears and hearing healed ~ severe headaches gone ~ post surgery pain gone ~ Backs, legs & knees healed ~ many arthritis victims delivered of the pain and inflammation ~ There were literally hundreds
of healings reported by the people.
The Skeptic/Critic Healed
A lady came to the meetings from another church in town that had been persecuting Puerta Abierto church. She came specifically to criticize and prove the meetings as a fake. They had been telling people that
George and his church were of the Devil and now the Falanys were operating in witchcraft. Well God took care of business. He healed the lady of a severe headache and then touched her heart. She then came
to George and said God told her that she had been grieving the Holy Spirit with her criticisms of His church. She asked George to forgive her and added that the two churches should now work together. A major wall came down that night in Mitu!!
Pastor George’s Comments
Dear Henry and Grace,
We had an unforgettable time with you here. We sincerely hope you can make Mitú a regular place of ministry. I felt in my spirit that the Lord was going to take us to the next level through your visit and that is what we are seeing. We have experienced healing personally; we have witnessed it; have been used to heal the sick and have read much anointed material - especially during the time of my healing. However, before your visit much of my understanding was un-activated head knowledge. Now I feel that much truth about divine healing has been activated in me. Using your 45 minute session with Norma and myself
on Sunday morning as a springboard I am teaching on healing on Wednesday nights and I have made the determination to minister healing in every service and in every other opportunity that presents itself. Now, a week after, we are still hearing reports of individuals who were healed during the healing services.
