God Pours Out a Tangible Healing Anointing on FFM Team

During the days of the Morrumbala crusade and other outreaches, ministry team members saw so many healings and miracles it would be impossible to document them all. It seems that they had come under the canopy of the tangible healing anointing. Here is some documentation of the miracles that took place as team members prayed for the sick and needy people of Mozambique. As an example, here is a tally, from one FFM prayer minister, of people who testified to, or showed an obvious touch, healing or significant improvement in their condition after prayer over the course of four days:
· 32 People healed of headaches
· One 18-month-old baby, deaf from birth, was healed
· 34 people healed of stomach problems
· One man in the fish market was healed from cataract blindness
· 10 people with coughing and lung problems healed
· One barren woman "felt God moving inside her" during prayer for fertility
· Three people with leg problems or pain healed
· Three people with deaf ears, including a ten-year-old boy, healed
· Six people with tooth problems are healed and set free of pain
· One non-Christian woman received clear eyesight back in her right eye and decided to follow Jesus
· Four people with knee problems were healed
· Six people with back problems healed
· Three people with heart problems report a healing touch
· Four people reported deliverance from malaria symptoms
· One lady walking along the road with a sore foot healed
· One child with an eye problem is healed
· One person is healed of dizziness
· Numerous people receive prayer blessing
The same types and numbers of healings could be reported by many of the other 85 plus ministry team members.

Doctor's Report

Dr. Rod Thompson, the FFM team doctor on this trip, following a before and after prayer examination of an elderly blind woman, reported the following:

The woman had bilateral eye blindness with no iris or pupils. She presumably contracted glaucoma at birth. After prayer a new iris with a pupil was formed in her right eye and she could see from that eye.

Other Testimonies
· Two team members reported the following healings one evening as they ministered: a woman with broken teeth who received prayer and opened her mouth, revealing teeth that all appeared perfect; two people healed of back pain and another two healed of abdomen pain; about 5 people healed of headaches and others healed of scabies and shoulder pain. They were also able to pray for one person to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
· Another team member testified that a young girl, about eight, was healed of deafness. Her father confirmed that she was deaf but now her ears were opened.
· The following is a testimony in the words of one team member: "On Monday night I found a little old man in the crowd with his head down, facing away from the platform. When I released the healing power of Jesus in an unrequested prayer for him, his head popped up and he looked at me. Fortunately, an interpreter arrived just then and asked him how he felt, only to discover he was deaf. After another short prayer, he said he could hear. Praise the Lord!"

Holy Spirit Falls in Power at Children's Crusade
During one of the days in Morrumbala, some team members conducted a children's outreach and crusade. They started by walking through the town handing out candies and balloons to children and inviting them to the meeting. Many children followed them to the meeting site where about 250 children gathered. The children joined the leaders with heartfelt singing, before one team member gave a short salvation message and invited the children to receive Jesus as their savior. They reported that about 200 children indicated that they wanted to receive Jesus.
Another team member told the children about the Holy Spirit and invited them to receive the gift of a new language from Him. Within seconds the place exploded in tongues—the majority of children were passionately praying in new spiritual languages. The Holy Spirit fell so powerfully that their voices rose to a crescendo and they continued speaking in their new languages for about 15 minutes. The team members were astounded by this wonderful sight and soon they were compelled to go lay hands on the children.

FFM Teams Visit Village Churches and Minister with Power

One morning in Morrumbala, close to 90 team members divided up and went to about 10 remote villages. My team, after about a 20-minute drive over bumpy dirt roads to one of the closer villages, arrived at a small grass-roofed village church to the wide-eyed amazement of about 60 villagers who had most likely never seen so many white people ever before.

We crammed into the dark little church, with wooden pole benches and dirt floors, and laughed and sang with delight as the people began to sing with great passion to the beat of an African drum. The worship leader belted out lines of songs and the people repeated them with a mighty and harmonious cry of praise to the Lord. He danced as he led the people until he was covered in sweat and the people joined in until the grass church was filled with dust. A number of people accompanied the drummer on little percussion instruments. "These people know how to have church! I want to join this church!" said one of the FFM team members.

The pastor welcomed us and thanked us profusely for coming to them. We gave them greetings from our countries and told them how honored we felt to visit them and learn from their passion for Jesus. After relocating to a larger church auditorium under a nearby tree, the team shared testimonies, scriptures, prophetic words and encouragements. One team member encouraged the people by telling them of their callings, the power of God they have to overcome the devil and walk in victory, and the destiny God has for them. "Maybe God has called you to be a preacher. Maybe He has called you to be a worship leader... a parent who loves your family and teaches them about God, or maybe God has called you to be a missionary to North America!"

One of the team preached a moving word about the power of communion which allows us to receive forgiveness and healing and brings us into closer fellowship. We closed the service with a sweet time of prayer ministry and the team blessed each person as they sat with eyes closed and hands raised. We had many encouraging prophetic words for the people and the pastor. One elderly woman indicated that she wanted to receive Jesus into her heart.

Other Village Teams Reap Harvest
One FFM team ministered to another remote village congregation and gave an altar call—12 people responded to receive Jesus as their savior. Also, many people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues. Other teams also reported salvations and healings at church meetings and outreaches throughout our time in Morrumbala.

Four Mozambicans Receive Salvation on FFM Bus
After the four-day crusade in Morrumbala, the team boarded the busses for a four-hour bus trip to Quelimane airport. The bus driver and three other Mozambican helpers accompanied us on the trip. Suddenly, one of the native men turned to Jim Drown, our videographer, and said to him in their native tongue of Portuguese, "We all want to join your church!" Jim happened to be the only one who could have understood them; he can speak fluent Spanish, which is similar to Portuguese. Jim was able to explain the way of salvation and lead them all in a prayer to receive Jesus. After praying in the bus with the men, Jim informed the rest of the team what had happened and the bus erupted into cheers and applause as everyone welcomed new brothers to God's family.

Salvation and Healing at Quelimane Airport
We arrived at the Quelimane airport, on our way to the Kruger National Park in South Africa, where we would take a three day break before traveling to Pemba for the second leg of our missions adventure. At the airport some team members struck up a conversation with a customs official and had the opportunity to lead her to the Lord. Then the Lord created a divine appointment with a local church member, who the customs official planned to go to church with. Another man also stumbled upon these team members and they were able to pray for healing from an injured, painful knee. The man reported that his knee was healed. Later they also prayed for a man's back and the pain disappeared.

FFM Team Brings the Love of Jesus to Orphans
After the Morrumbala crusade and outreach, we departed for Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique, where Heidi Baker's greatest love, the Zimpeto Children's Home, is located. The home, which cares for about 450 orphans today, was where Heidi and Rolland based their ministry for many years before the Lord led them to move to Pemba to minister to the Makai people.
The FFM team attended a mid-week service at the children's home where two of our team members preached and the rest of the team were able to pray with the adults and children in attendance. Team members were also greatly blessed by all the sweet children who just wanted to be loved and held. The team held and played with the children, while Todd and Shonnah and some other team members visited the baby house where forty or more babies and toddlers live.
A number of the children are suffering with HIV aids and the majority of them have lost their parents to the disease. Iris Ministries has many volunteers and missionaries that work in the home, bringing the love of Jesus to the many little ones. While in the baby house, Todd was able to pray for healing for the AIDS babies.

Prayer Needs for Team:

As the team ministers in Pemba, the next city on our missions trip, we have a number of prayer needs:

Please pray for unity with our team and between our team and the ministry teams of Iris Ministries and Che Ahn's ministry (from California) who have arrived with over 50 team members. This joining of three ministries to touch a city seems to be strategic in God's plan. However, unity is needed so the three streams can flow well together and so we can do damage to the enemy's kingdom in this area.
Please pray for health and strength for the team. Many are becoming very tired and even sick with respiratory problems and other illnesses from continual traveling, time changes, different foods and water and a tiring schedule. We believe that God wants to use us to break open heaven in this region during this second leg of the trip.
Please pray for the glory of God to fall on the people, that many would be equipped, healed, saved and touched by the power of the Holy Spirit
