Todd shared with me that he has not experienced God's presence in a corporate setting so strongly as he just has in Mexico! People were literally falling under the power of Holy Spirit just stepping onto the festival/crusade grounds with many being instantly healed.
Todd also relayed that not since his 1998 glory soaking season where he spent 4 - 12 hours a day praying and waiting on the Lord, has he experienced such a new insatiable hunger for absolutely more of the Lord. This is a new season the Lord is leading many into!

Zacatlan Experiences Power of God

Rolling Out the Red Carpet!
It was a royal welcome! On the first evening the people of Zacatlan threw out the red carpet for FFM staff and (approximately) 100 team members. Festivities began with a small parade and brief speeches from several local political dignitaries. Incidentally, Zacatlan is located 205 km from Mexico City in the State of Puebla, Mexico and has a population of about 80,000.
Our host pastors, Roberto & Rebecca said that Zacatlan (population of about 80,000) had never experienced a Christian festival with an emphasis on miracles, signs and wonders. Therefore, we wondered to what degree the population would respond, especially since most of the people were catholic.
Although we heard there had been some opposition to the festival, two churches in the city and 19 village churches from surrounding areas got behind our event with their faithful prayers and what little finances they had. One immediate blessing to FFM happened when the city officials donated at no cost, the basketball stadium where the festival was being held!
Coca-Cola Helps Sponsor FFM Festival
Another big blessing happened when the Coca-Cola Company helped to underwrite some FFM festival expenses! And when the word got out that Coca-Cola helped the festival financially, it brought us favor with the local population because the people believe that when Coke "has their signature" on an event, then it's legitimate and worthy of attendance. Perhaps Coca-Cola's involvement contributed to the 2,200 seat indoor basketball stadium being virtually packed out every night with standing room only.
Every Imaginable Miracle Happened
A huge banner was erected high above the festival platform that said (in Spanish): "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" (Matt. 11:5). We discovered that this banner was definitely prophetic because when the people actually heard the Word of God at the festival, many of them surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. Healings happened, too! Tumors disappeared, the blind received their sight, deaf ears opened, cancer victims were reportedly being cured, the paralyzed were walking and chronic pain conditions were being healed!
One 23 year old man suffering from deformity and deafness in both ears experienced a mighty healing when the electricity of the Holy Spirit touched him. To his amazement he was completely made whole. Also, a man having a condition of deafness most of his 66 years of life was instantly healed when the power of God touched him.
Local Pastor, Speechless
"We have never seen anything like this before!" exclaimed Pastor Adonias Hernadez Figueroa one of the main host pastors. Tears streamed down his face as he observed the hundreds of salvations and miracles night after night. He simply could not find adequate words to express his gratitude. The next day he reported not having a very good sleep due to the fact that a fire had been burning in his body all night because of the resident power of the Holy Spirit!
FFM Team Prays for the Masses
Numerous team members expressed their amazement night after night concerning what the Holy Spirit was doing among the people. About a 100 teens, (some as young as 13 yrs old), young adults and about 25 FFM supernatural training school grads were released during the day and at the festival in the evenings to pray for the "whosoevers." This Mexican city was ripe for the harvest and seemed to exhibit a childlike faith when it came to receiving miracles from heaven.
Anointing Breaks the Yoke
During the second night of the crusade, Evangelist Todd Bentley sensed a very heavy anointing of the Holy Spirit. Immediately, words of knowledge were spoken to the curious crowd. It seemed the people were unfamiliar with a preacher knowing conditions of infirmity and disease existing in people's minds and bodies. So Todd explained in a straightforward fashion what the gift of the "word of knowledge" was all about as well as how this basic gift is used by the Holy Spirit to release healing in people's lives.
Within a short time, dozens of people responded when their condition was called out by word of knowledge. After, Todd told the people to check their bodies. "Do something you couldn't do before." Multitudes responded, indicating, for instance, that the pain was gone or the tumor disappeared. God received the Glory!
Crippled People Healed!
During one particular night at the crusade Todd sensed that the atmosphere was thick with faith. The stadium was full to capacity and hundreds were standing along the walls desperately trying to secure a good view to observe the happenings. Moving out in the raw gift of faith, Todd began to point to various individuals and especially in the location where many crippled people were sitting.
Next, Todd asked a very pointed question, "Do you want Jesus to heal you tonight? Do you believe in miracles?" Immediately some of the people responded by asking for prayer. Some of the FFM team members rallied around them and prayed as they touched their frail limbs, ankles or withered bodies.
A 73 year old man that came a long distance from a mountain village, came walking to the platform, jumping ecstatically and shouting, "NO PAIN, NO PAIN!" A child, 9 years of age who was crippled, began to walk for the first time in years. Also a young man having a severe knee problem for eight years was instantly healed. Todd also prophesied over him about the call of evangelism on his life.
FFM Team Witnesses Numerous Miracles
During the mornings, as well as in the evening crusades, the FFM team members were passionately engaged in the works of Jesus Christ, facilitating the lame walking, the blind seeing and the deaf hearing. This particular FFM team was one of the most zealous and radically sold out teams that FFM staff has ever witnessed on a Fresh Fire missions trip. The level of love and care demonstrated by the whole team was so evident! Their joy was plain to see as they witnessed with their own eyes, numerous miracles, signs and wonders. Surely each one will go back to their homes never to be the same!
Pressing in for Notable and Remarkable Miracles
It could be so tempting just to coast and remain at our present level. After all, the last seven years have been very exciting—over 720,000 salvations and thousands of miracles. However, the Lord is challenging Fresh Fire Ministries to come up higher.
Recently, on Mother's Day, Todd experienced a visitation from the Lord—one that's bringing him into a deeper level in the area of healing as well as believing God for remarkable, notable and creative miracles. Therefore, we at Fresh Fire Ministries stand together in our commitment to press in by continuing to live a God-fearing and holy lifestyle. We want to be those who can be entrusted with the kind of anointing that releases miracles like the ones Jesus demonstrated 2,000 years ago.
Yes, the people of Zacatlan were greatly impacted by God's remarkable, notable miracles and a God sent revival. Many rejoiced in their wonderful salvation experience and the pastors were thrilled to receive all the new converts in their churches.
We are confident that the flames of revival will continue to burn with fresh fire in the hearts of the people of Zacatlan!

Imagine! More people reside in Mexico City [the world's largest city], than the entire nation of Canada. No wonder the Lord has His eye upon this gigantic field that's ripening unto harvest!
Even the thunderstorm and heavy rains that greeted the FFM team upon their arrival testified of God's outpouring of love for the people living in Mexico City. The team's level of expectation remained high as they remembered the amazing demonstration of God's love at the previous crusade in Zacatlan (see Report #1). Each team member was ready to literally pounce on the city with the good news of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As well, it was a blessing to learn that leadership from various churches in Mexico City had responded so well to Pastor Adonias's efforts to facilitate the festival. The Lord commanded the blessing (Ps. 133:1) and so the stronghold of religion, so prevalent in the nation of Mexico, had to bow down to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Deaf School Attends Festival
What happens when you put a fiery evangelist like Todd Bentley into a huge tent with thousands of Mexicans who are anticipating a miracle from God? The answer is: hundreds of salvations, miracles, signs and wonders too numerous to count!
What an open heaven we experienced the first night. The worship team ushered in a beautiful spiritual atmosphere preparing the way for Todd to come and preach from his text in Matthew 7:35 and Mark 1:14-15. When the altar call was given, 670 people responded, wanting to follow Jesus Christ. They fully surrendered their lives to Him, many with tears streaming down their faces, imploring God to forgive them of their sins and asking Him to reside in their hearts.

Also on that first night Todd invited those who were deaf to come forward for prayer. [We were happy to hear that a school for the deaf knew about the gospel meetings and came to check out the festival.] What a surprise when Todd lined up four deaf teenage boys from the school and one by one they received their partial or total hearing. The smiles on their faces after hearing sounds for the first time was indescribable. Numerous other healings took place among the deaf including an 8 year old girl completely healed of deafness, as well as one of the host pastor's parishioners.
Morning Workshops, a Great Success
FFM has an apostolic team based in Canada which incorporates an Ephesians 4:11 gift- mix—apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher—and also models a style of church government similar to Acts 13:1-6. The purpose of this team is to support Todd and Shonnah Bentley like Aaron and Hur did when they helped Moses by holding his hands up during the battle (Ex. 17:12).
As the five-member FFM apostolic team "tag-teamed" during the morning workshops, the Mexican leaders were blessed by their humility and the honor exhibited among them. [Todd Bentley has a passion to see the five-fold ministry (the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor and the teacher) fully manifested and functioning side by side in a way that honors the Lord and edifies the body of Christ.] The final workshop ended in a time of impartation and a sweet anointing rested on many Mexican servant leaders.

Team Member Receives Miracle
Not only did the Mexicans receive miracles, but on the 2nd night of the festival one FFM team member received a touch from Jesus. A young lady who had paralysis in her right hand for 20 years began to feel a sensation moving through her hand. She quickly went to the stage where she received another Holy Ghost impartation when Todd prayed for her. Many other miracles took place on this 2nd night—a lady received hearing after 40 years of being deaf in one ear and a young woman began to see clearly without the aide of her glasses.
Creative Miracle In Child
When creative miracles happen they are irrefutable evidence of God's love and care and can't be denied. When Jesus presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, it was like His resurrection in itself was a creative miracle—Acts 3:1. And so ever since Mother's Day, in 2005, Todd has been contending for creative miracles in the ministry of FFM.
With great joy, numerous people witnessed a creative miracle happen at the festival when a little boy's deformed shoulder (since birth) suddenly began to develop the complete bone structure necessary for the shoulder to look identical to the normal one. Although the child was unaware of the deformity because of his young age, the family members could easily recognize that the awkward looking shoulder was much smaller in size than the normal one. What an amazing miracle to see both shoulders completely the same!
Pearl Receives Priceless Miracle
A beautiful young Mexican lady named Pearl didn't always have a smile on her face like the one we saw at the festival. Unfortunately she experienced the life of a street child, which is all too common in many large developing cities like Mexico City. As a street child she became addicted to drugs and supported her addiction through prostitution. Adding to her misery, she was beginning to suffer from epilepsy.
When Todd gave the altar call she literally felt electricity run through her entire being and felt clean for the first time in her life. She repeated the sinner's prayer, inviting Jesus to become her Savior and begged Him to wash away all her guilty stains from the past. She testified to the evangelist that the cravings for drugs were gone and that she wasn't experiencing any symptoms of epilepsy. Only eternity will reveal the many souls Pearl's testimony is sure to touch. She was bound but now is set free from her past prison of hell. Jesus is the miracle worker and is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Invitation
The pastors were gloriously touched by the third night of the festival and they begged Evangelist Todd Bentley to return again next year. Although no promises could be made, one thing is for certain—souls were added to the Kingdom of God. Many more Mexicans now know Jesus saves, heals, delivers and He is coming back again!
Every year FFM takes a team of young people as well as college and career age people to some designated area within Mexico. Perhaps the Holy Spirit is wooing your heart to come along on our next trip to Mexico in 2006. If this is you, why not respond to the Holy Spirit and begin praying into coming with us next year.
