From New Zealand - Bob Brasset’s Visit to New Zealand

How it all began: Some three years ago looking at healing entries on the web, we came across Bob’s website www.extremehealing.ca and thought we should go to the Sydney Healing Conference in Australia that was mentioned there. My wife Ruth and I were not thinking of getting healing, but wanted to learn. All the same, on the first night Bob had a word of knowledge and Ruth was completely healed from fractured vertebrae following a car accident. No more pain, no more walking “like an old lady”, as our kids put it, no more admonishing her husband when the car went over a bump!
One evening I said to Bob: “When are you coming to N.Z.?” He said: “When you invite me.” Bob ministers in many countries across the world since receiving a very special healing enabling 7 years ago. Well, we did invite him and this past week we have again seen so many healings some were almost dumbfounded and others stepping out into healing like never before. Blessing after blessing after blessing came upon us.
The preparation: From August 10 to August 31, people in this and several other countries prayed and fasted in different ways for Bob and the Team and for our nation. Our God certainly heard these prayers.
Sunday Sept. 4. The ministry of Bob, his wife Sue, from B.C., Canada, and Healing Team members Steve and Judy Greenough, from Washington State, U.S., began at Harbour C.C.C. at Mairangi Bay, Auckland, in the morning service. Many received healing, including Murray, who had an injured, painful knee that stubbornly couldn't be healed by conventional science. The pain left, the knee functions normally now, and moreover when Murray attended the Healing Conference a few days later he realised that his short sightedness had also disappeared right there during the meeting.
In the evening the team went to West City Christian Centre. Again, many were healed, including quite a number with hearing problems and deafness. One lady who wanted to testify was so excited she shouted at the top of her voice into the microphone: “I can hear! I can hear! I can hear!” Imagine the sound effects in our eardrums! Others were healed from arthritis, asthma, degenerative diseases, and many others ...you name it.
Tuesday Sept. 6 - Thursday Sept. 8. The three days of the Northland Adventure in Healing Conference at Kaiwaka probably were the most exciting three days in my whole life. What an absolutely amazing time! It was not only the healings, which again included the deaf hearing, asthma going, going, gone, arthritis disappearing, and also anatomicial miracles and so on, but also the impartation of healing anointing to many, as Bob and the team ministered the transferable anointing to them. This is something that stands out in Bob’s ministry: his desire, indeed deep longing, to see others enter into healing ministry. This is emphasised over and over again, and with truly wonderful results. One Presbyterian minister who attended the Conference phoned me on Sunday afternoon, brimming over with excitement because of the people that got healed in meetings throughout the second half of the Conference week and in the two Sunday morning services at the church he pastors. The church administrator and the receptionist also received healing and blessing. This is a mark of Bob’s ministry: after he leaves, the healings continue!
On the first morning of the Conference, Bob thought he could speak without a microphone, and asked: “Can you all hear me?” Yes, they could, but one lady in the back of our small church said: “This gentleman can’t hear you; he’s deaf.” Well, this man, John, was the first one to receive healing in the Conference, right there and then. That evening Cindy, whose left hand had been injured some 18 months ago, causing much pain and complete loss of the use of that hand, came for prayer. Eleven months of physiotherapy, surgery last March, further therapy, had failed to bring relief to the swollen, purple and blue coloured, claw like hand, which she had to hold up continually to help relieve pain. As a result the shoulder had also become troublesome and painful, calcified and frozen; she could not lift her left arm up. As Bob ,in Jesus’ Name ,commanded the hand to unravel, it released immediately all the pain left. It became absolutely normal and with full range of motion and flexability with the shoulder unlocked too. The next morning Cindy picked up her violin and played Amazing Grace! No more visits to the pain clinic, no more painkillers, no more sleeping tablets....Just a healthy woman.
Friday Sept. 9 – Sunday Sept. 11. From Kaiwaka the team moved to Whangarei. Five teaching and healing meetings took place at the Christian Renewal Fellowship. Again, the Holy Spirit moved in wonderful ways, and many received healing. Limbs were restored, asthma left, arthritic pain disappeared, people feeling the warmth of the healing power of God working in painful areas. “Auntie Tai”, 83yrs, with serious heart disease, rampant arthritis, unable to walk or move normally , serious eye problems, before the meeting began Bob walked over to her, laid hands on her and within moments the conjunctivitis cleared, her eyes stopped weeping. Then her heart condition (only three weeks previously she had been in hospital with another heart attack), her asthma and painful hip were all healed she threw away her cain-crutches and walked and exercised normally. That night she had the best sleep for a long long time and, in the words of her niece, is “like a little girl again”.
Again, some came to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. On the Sunday evening, during the prayer ministry, this 72 yr. old dairy farmer said to me: “I want to be a Christian, what do I have to do to become a Christian?” That’s the best part of all, when people come to meet with Him!
Let's all sincerely thank Jesus for the wonderful things he did in this nation as Bob and Sue obeyed the call to "come over here and help us".
