We want to personally thank you for your faithfulness in prayer and financial support. You are such a valuable part of the Prepare the Way Ministry team. Everything you have invested into is bringing forth fruit in an amazing measure.
God is working powerfully in Jinja. Today when I started preaching I said, “Jesus is anointed”. A woman became disruptive by moaning loudly. She got out of her seat and started walking toward me. Every eye was on her. She was removed by the ushers and taken outside the tent. I told the people that today a miracle would take place and she would get saved. I said, “Don't look at her as a problem but begin to intercede for her”. I continued preaching. As the service came to a close, the woman came up and said she must get saved. We prayed together and she gave her heart to Jesus.
An old woman walked slowly up to me and asked for prayer for her legs and stomach. I sensed that her back was also causing her pain. I questioned her and she said described the pain in her back as being so intense that she could stand for only short periods at a time. I prayed for her and the next day she testified that God had healed her back. We then went to the hospital in Jinja. I prayed for an enlarged leg, a wasting disease, paralysis, head pain and a mother and baby. I have not gotten back any reports.
The lunch hour services are held in a large church/tent in downtown Jinja. People come in from the surrounding businesses to hear the word from 1 PM to 3 PM. I had been asked to give the microphone back to the pastor each day at 2:45. On Friday, I preached on the holiness of God and becoming like Him. At 2:45 as I was turning the service back to the pastor the people began shouting for me not to stop preaching. I was able to pray for everyone that came forward.
Our African daughter, Irene Michelle reports these miracles from the lunch hour services.
Today we were in Jinja and I want to give you a testimony. At the beginning of the lunch hour service five people gave hot testimonies.
1. A woman received divine power. She said she was not very close to God. She was weak and could not even prayer. Since the week began God’s power came upon her. Now she is hungry and thirsty for God and can not live without talking to Him. She thanked God for Pastor Bill’s coming.
2. A crippled man came to the front and said that he was supposed to be operated on at the end week. He came to the lunch hour service expecting to be healed and not to be operated on. Pastor Bill prayed for him. He testified that he is healed and delivered. Glory to God . 3. A young man thanked God for healing him from ulcers which he believed to be a family disease. The anointing of God was so strong on this young man that at times he was unable to speak. He was trembling under the power of God and crying. He could not believe that now he was healed because every one in his family had this sickness.
4. An old woman came from a village outside of Jinja. She was having terrible pain in both legs and her back. She came for prayer, and pastor prayed for her. She went back to her home. She was walking along the streets believing to be healed. She called upon Jesus and said, “Jesus heal me today.” The mercy of God came upon her and she was healed instantly.
5. A woman brought her pregnant friend to the service. Pastor Bill prayed for her. We later found out that she was long overdue and would not deliver. Last night she gave birth and was very happy to now have a baby. God be praised!
It is with great joy that we welcome each new addition into Faith Children’s Home. In the past month that Bill has been in Uganda, he has been able to be a part of the home coming of these new arrivals. With the joy also has come some sorrow. The uncle of little Linda and Rachel came to the home and demanded them back. In Africa most agreements are verbal, so Pastor Hudson was unable to legally keep the children. We believe that the root of the retraction of this agreement is greed and that the uncle wants the money that the sponsors pay each month. We have communicated to him that he will not receive the money. We have a team go out each week to talk to him about letting the children come back into the home. We also believe that Linda and Rachel have a destiny and a future and they belong in Faith Children’s Home. We are praying for the safe return of the girls. We are now having a contract signed by the eldest of kin and notarized by the city counsel on each child that is in the home. Working in a culture other than your own has constant challenges.
Together let’s pray some of the prophetic words that God has given:
I am a God of mercy; I am your help in times of trouble, and I will not leave you nor forsake you in your need.
In Jesus name I prophesy the safe return of our children. I speak conviction to the uncle. I come against selfishness and greed in Jesus name. By the glory and love of Christ being reflected in these children, I speak salvation to this uncle and family.
In Jesus name, we bind all curses against Faith Children's Home, Prepare the Way Ministry, and the local churches we work with. Satan, the blood of Jesus is against you. We stand covered and under the blood of Christ. He has given us authority over every power of darkness, so rise up and defeat the enemy in Jesus Name.
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19
We strongly believe that Faith Children’s Home is an equipping center preparing children to be carriers of the Glory of God. These children are God’s arrows, which are being sharpened. The Bible says that the arrows are to be fired into the city gates which represent the places of authority.
"As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of the youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate" Psalm 127: 4, 5
Bill reports that the children are being equipped in the power of God to walk in the supernatural realm of the spirit. He led a team into the bush to do a conference yesterday. He took two of the older girls from the home along as part of the ministry team. They joined the worship team and helped lead praises to Jesus. The adults on the team started praying for the people who had come forward. The girls joined in and began laying hands on people and praying.

I would first of all like to appreciate you so much for being a willing vessel of God to be used in these last days. I would like to report to you that among the 1,000 students that gathered in Jinja Hall for the “RIOT” Righteous Invasion of Truth youth conference, I was more blessed with your sermon. I took seriously the question you asked, “When does the devil steal the Word?” The devil is a thief and would like to steal it out of our hearts. The Word you delivered came in power. After the sermon when you prayed for the students they were touched greatly. With the truth of the Word, you invaded the wickedness. Just as the devil used the Word which he doesn’t live by, we have the Word which we must live by to conquer the devil.
