My Leg Grew

Miracle – my leg grew about ¼ “
Saturday night and I was invited to watch a movie with three friends. I was going to go but when they said that the movie was called ‘The History of Violence’, I asked myself why and could not find a good answer. I used to love extremely violent movies! So I decided not to go.
I had heard about a Christian healing meeting where some friends had previously been healed of physical ailments. I was going to go on my own after asking a friend who declined, when another friend visited me and was keen to go. So we went to a small hall where there were only about 15 – 20 people.
About two months before this I had begun praying for my lower back, knees, foot and that my short leg would grow to the same length as the other. Also for over 20 years I have had constant neck pain with more recently Tinnitus and unequal ear pressure.
When I was about 18 months old I was in hospital for 6 months with Poliomyelitis. The doctors said that I would probably be crippled, however Praise God I have had a very active life. This disease had left me with a leg which is about ¼“ shorter than the other.
The man conducting the meeting talked about various healings which had occurred during his meetings and after a time of singing he invited people up for prayer. I asked him to pray for my neck and ears and I felt some relief. I then asked him to pray for my lower back and once again I felt some relief. He then asked me to sit down and lifted up both my legs and remarked that they were a different length. After I explained to him about the Poliomyelitis and that my legs had been a different length for over 50 years, he began to pray and I felt sensations in my legs like power going through them. I went back to my seat not realising what had happened. After the meeting I was talking to Lance Thomas – the man who prayed for me – and another man. The second man said that he saw my leg move. Lance said stand up and see if there is any change. I stood up and I have been able to swing my short leg most of my life – I could not swing my leg because it is now the same length as the other!
I would like to thank Jesus Christ for the healing of my leg. All the praise, honour and thanks is due to Him! I asked for my neck and the Lord grew my leg to fix the root of the problem – the wisdom, love, grace and knowledge of God is too great for us to understand. We need to trust in Him with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding.
