“I literally could see on the ground a mist or a fog or a cloud. But it wasn’t a vision. It was something I could physically see. I turned to the people behind me and said, ‘I see a cloud in this place. There’s a cloud of God’s glory here.’ People spontaneously left their pews and began to come to the altar. It was just like in II Chronicles 5 that says the priests could no longer minister because of the cloud.” – Pastor Tim Gibbs, speaking of how the Sarnia Revival began at Bethel Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, March 29th.
Sarnia, ON -- The short history of the Sarnia Revival is marked with events reminiscent of incidents from the Bible. Just as Paul was called to his next missionary destination by a vision of a man from Macedonia saying, “Come … help us,” (Acts 16:9, NKJV), so Pastor Gibbs was called in a special way by a vision of revivalist Rodney Howard-Browne. In fact, as he was discussing the recurring manifestation with visiting evangelist Ted Shuttlesworth over lunch, the evangelist’s cell phone rang and it was Rodney Howard-Browne calling! After hearing about the conversation, the famous revivalist invited Pastor Gibbs to attend his winter campmeeting.
“I didn’t really make myself known. In one of the services he called me out and prayed for me. I don’t think he necessarily knew who I was. I really felt a deposit in my spirit and a blessing from the Lord.” Something else unusual happened at the book table. “Within about fifteen minutes, I had three people come up to me. In total, they gave me over 400 dollars.” They said the money was to buy materials to sow into the upcoming revival.
A couple months later, Bethel Pentecostal Church held its annual 21-day fast ending on Easter Sunday. Pastor Gibbs marks the revival’s beginning as three days into the fast. Evangelist Reva Casey was guest speaker on Wednesday night March 29th. The Kentucky resident had rearranged her schedule to be there after God spoke to her in the middle of the night. As soon as she announced her text in Exodus, the cloud, mentioned at the beginning of this article, appeared.
There have been one or more salvations almost every night since the revival began. Attendance has also shot up. The church was accustomed to Sunday morning attendance of 460, but Wednesday night attendance averaged only a dozen. Since the revival began attendance has never been less than 100. The highest figure so far is 500. Over 400 attended on Easter Sunday evening. That’s compared to a typical Sunday night crowd of around 170.
Pastor Gibbs credits evangelist Tom Scarrella with laying a foundation for the revival. He held four services in late April. “There were some healings that took place and that continue to take place. A man was healed of total deafness in his left ear. Everyone in our church knows him. He left the service and talked to his wife on his cell phone, using the ear that had been deaf for twenty years.”
Pastor Gibbs reports that during and after Scarrella’s services there’s been a new sensitivity to what the Lord wants to do. “We are trying to flow in whatever the Holy Spirit has for that night. We invite everyone to come to the front and worship for an hour or more. Two nights ago we literally sat in silence for over an hour.” One time the church even cancelled a fundraising concert in favor of revival services.

This man had arthritis in his hands for over 5 years. He took extra strength Tylonol for the pain, and had left work with severe pain and the inability to make a fist. At Friday night revival meeting, he was healed, and could make a firm fist, and all pain had left.
This woman couldn't bend down without back pain. In the service, the power of God came on her, she testified to feeling a warmness in her back and without pain, in front of witnesses, bent over numerous times. Her husband, a medical doctor, confirmed her condition, and testified that she was indeed healed!
The boy pictured here suffered from what doctors called an “over use injury.” He had chronic pain in his heels, so much so that he had to walk on the tips of his toes. He had special inserts in his shoes to help. He came for healing, and was miraculously healed.
Valerie came with fourth stage deterioration of the bones in her neck caused by ostio and rheumatoid arthritis. She was in severe pain and couldn't turn her head. Her chiropractor said she would eventually be in a wheelchair. She was healed and later her friend sent this report to the church office.

TOM SCARRELLA CONTINUES TONIGHT
What can only be describe as the Power of God continues tonight at
Bethel Pentecostal Church with the ministry of Tom Scarrella.
Last night (Thursday, May 25, 2006) Tom called out those with
hearing problems. One elderly lady came and said she could only
hear with the use of her hearing aid. The Power of God feel on
her, she took her hearing aid out, and had a conversation with
Pastor Tim Gibb, Bethel's Lead Pastor.
She testified that without her hearing aid she would have never
been able to hear him before.
Tonight will be the 27th service in the past 30 days. In that
short time God has healed the deaf, broken alcohol and drug
addictions, made blind eyes see, healed back problems, knee
problems, arthritis, cancer, scoliosis. Many have been saved
by the grace of God. One woman, who had been on anti-depression
medication for four years visited her doctor, who was amazed
at her change. When he asked the reason for this change, she said,
"JESUS!" - he has taken her off the medication, stating she no
longer needs it.
Susie Scarrella, Tom's wife will be with us tonight, sharing her
experience with revival. Then tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7:00 p.m.
and Sunday night at 6:30, Brother Scarrella will minister again,
with special emphasis on healing the sick. He is encouraging
everyone who can, to bring as many sick people to the services,
believing for a full touch from God!

The past five nights have been marked with salvations and healings, continuing to demonstrate the awesomeness of God as Evangelist Tom Scarrella ministered with great passion and enthusiasm.
On Friday night, during the worship, a man standing at his seat was miraculously healed from a knee injury. He was unable to contain his excitement and ran to the front, jumping, telling of what God had done for him. That same night a woman who had been deaf in both ears for 15 years, wearing a hearing aid, had her hearing completely restored, no longer in need of the hearing aid.
On Saturday afternoon a group went to Canatara Park in Sarnia to witness. One team prayed for a teenaged boy who had what doctors called “jumpers knee” and he was healed in that park.
A woman with severe pain from gull stones testified that she couldn’t bend over the pain was too intense, but after receiving prayer, all pain left, she believes she is gull stone free.
On Sunday night, a woman who had lost a finger and mobility in her hand from a workplace accident was able to move that once crippled hand.
Many are coming to the Sarnia Revival because they’re hungry. This past Sunday night a Buddhist man visited, because he needed a healing and heard that people were being healed here. God is doing great things.
God continues to move the revival continues. Make plans to join us again this week for Tuesday night revival prayer at 6:30 p.m. Then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, revival services are at 7:00 p.m.
Next Sunday night (June 4), Reverend Mike Kerychuk will minister in the Sunday night revival service at 6:30 p.m.

Tonight marks the 34th service in 38 days. Over the past 38 days
all who have gathered at the revival services have witnessed a
mighty move of God. A man with cancer under his eyes was
completely healed. A local doctor even sent an email confirming,
“Where cancer was once present, it is no more, call it what you
want, he is cancer free.”
Numerous testimonies of hearing being restored have come forth.
A boy who doctors told would be completely blind in six months
had his sight restored. Some afflicted with arthritis and
tendonitis have been healed; all pain gone, mobility being
restored. One woman testified that after 20 years of a pay
equity dispute, a previous employer of hers is paying a large
settlement, more than she needs to get out of debt. It’s only
by the power of God. A woman who has worked the past four years
on the handi-bus in Chatham, Ontario came to the service. She
said her arms would pull out of their sockets because of the job
she did. She worked with excruciating pain. She was touched by
God, completely healed, and works now with no pain, and the arms
don’t pull out of the socket anymore. A woman addicted to
alcohol for 19 years completely set free. A young man addicted
to crystal-meth and alcohol, set free from him addictions. This
is just a sampling of what God is doing in our midst as we join

Each night of revival is different. Some nights there are over
500 people earnestly worshiping, and seeking a touch. Other
nights as few as 100 people join together, earnestly pressing in
to God. The amazing thing is that no matter how many come, there
is a marked outpouring of God’s manifest presence. Some nights
those who come have seen a visible presence of God in the form of
a cloud. One woman from London, Ontario testified to being taken
up in the spirit and seeing heaven. Every night is different,
but the power of God continues to flow.
Last night, Thursday, June 1, 2006. Many youth from schools all
over the city gathered. A call was given that any youth who wanted
boldness to reach their friends and schools to come and be filled
with a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit. Those who were present
rallied around these youth and a powerful prayer time ensued.
God is raising up a generation of young people who are passionate
about him, who are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
If you live in the area, or are driving distance away, we encourage
you to come out as often as possible and be blessed, renewed
strengthened and healed. A pastor from B.C. has made his
intention known that he is flying in for revival services. A
family from Winnipeg is doing the same. A pastor in Calgary
heard about revival and altered his vacation plans to come in
June. Those who are hungry and those who desire a mighty move of
God throughout this nation are dropping everything, sacrificing
time and money to come to experience the manifest presence of God!

REVIVAL ON THE STREET

Many youth have been so set on fire for God that there is a buzz
in one of the local high schools. A principal called the church
office concerned over the lunch hour one day this week because
over 150 students had congregated in a church parking lot across
the street from the high school and there was a “healing service,”
as this principal described it, taking place. Some youth were
healed during that impromptu service, and the administration of
the school doesn’t know how to handle it. In fact, one student
was suspended for praying, and preaching. The local media caught
wind of this and is running a story about it today.
This revival is breaking out of the confines of four walls, and
hitting the streets. It will flood this city, and spread through
the region, and will not stop until it reaches coast to coast.
This Saturday at 4:00 p.m. those who are interested can join us
again in Canatara Park for outreach to the community. Meet at

Since April 26th, Bethel Pentecostal Church has been experiencing a
wonderful move of the Spirit of God. We have been having nightly services
since that Wednesday night with attendance ranging from 150 to over 500
people nightly. In the past 40 days, we have hosted 36 services, and plan to
continue again this week. Each service is marked with signs and wonders.
Every night we are seeing people born-again, receiving physical healings,
many are being spiritually revived, and some are testifying of financial
breakthroughs.
To date, we have had visitors in these nightly services coming from Toronto,
Niagara Falls, Peterborough, Windsor, Lansing Michigan, Ohio, British Columbia
and all over the South Western Ontario region, just to mention a few places.
There is a hunger in this nation for the manifest presence of God. The church
office is receiving telephone calls from people all over Canada, who are making plans
to fly to Ontario to be part of this revival. Some are making special travel plans
while others have altered their vacation plans.
Every night of revival services are different, no two are the same. Some nights
there is a holy hush, as all who gather sit in reverence before God. Other nights
are marked with jubilant worship and dancing. Some nights, people are crying
out, wailing for forgiveness and mercy. Other nights the power of God is
healing people in their seats, without prayer, without alter calls, without pastors
or evangelists laying hands on them.
We encourage you to make plans to come to revival meetings to be blessed.

Friday, June 2, 2006 A woman who had a bad ankle since 1994 came for
her second time to the revival service. She attends a local United Church.
As the congregation worshipped, the pain she had experienced for 12 years
subsided, she testified that all pain was gone, Praise God she was healed.
A young man and his wife came to Sarnia four weeks ago to visit family. One
night during their visit, they came to a revival service, God spoke to them and
told them to move from Sault Ste. Marie, where they were living, to Sarnia to
be part of the revival. In obedience, they made the move, and God provided a
job for this young man. While in Sarnia, he broke his hand. On Friday night
as he worshipped the Lord, he said he felt a tingling in his hand, he went the
next day, had the cast removed, and is completely healed. He testified that
when he got the cast, the x-ray showed a gap in the bone where it was broken
when he had the cast removed, the doctor confirmed that there was no gap in
the bone. He was completely healed.
Sunday, June 4, 2006 - A teenaged girl came out to church on Thursday night.
God convicted her of the sin in her life, and she dedicated her life to Christ.
On Friday, she went to school and a friend of hers was complaining of pain in his
ear, so she prayed, the power of God touched that young man, and healed his ear in that High School. On Saturday, she joined a team in Canatara Park who were witnessing.
On Saturday night, through the word of God that was preached, she left the service
went home, and filled two garbage bags full of drug paraphernalia, alcohol,
clothes, posters, and other things that she believed were strongholds in her
life. She has completely turned her life around, has been set free from bondage
and is stepping out in power and authority for the cause of Christ.

KEN BOMBAY MINISTERS TO YOUTH!
At the first of two services, being
led by the spirit, Ken Bombay spoke poignantly to the
youth challenging them to be visionaries, and dreamers,
fulfilling God’s call and purpose for their lives. It was a
night of noticeable surrender and equipping as the youth
pressed in, hungry and thirsty for more of God.
About 30-40 youth gathered around the altar crying out for
God to use them as revolutionaries in their schools, families,
and nation.
There is no doubt that this revival is marked with equipping
as the Holy Spirit imparts power to those who are willing to
receive it. God is raising up a generation to take this power
onto the streets, into the business world, into their homes,
and into their schools.
God is moving, God is changing lives, God is breaking strongholds,
God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh! (Joel 2:28-32)

HEALINGS CONTINUE THE LOST ARE FOUND!
Remembering back to April 26, Tom Scarrella joined us for what
turned out to be the first night of over 40 nights of
services. In that meeting, Brother Scarrella prophesied of a
revival that would be marked with Signs and Wonders.
Since that night, Bethel has hosted 42 services in 47 nights.
Each service is unique, with no agenda. But without fail lost
souls are being saved, and people are healed every night!
This past week, again, as people stood at their seats, healing
power flowed through the sanctuary. Claudine writes, “Friday
night I could hear bones like they were clicking in my ankle.
I had a bone spur in my right foot, something happened, I was
healed. Praise The Lord”
On Saturday night, Holy Laughter filled the house.
“Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs
of joy. Then it was said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done
great things for them.’” Psalm 126:1-2
Sunday night, 14 people were baptized in water, their personal
testimonies were stirring and moving. Many accepted Christ as
their personal Savior that night.
We’ve determined that if people are hungry, and God is moving
we will continue. Night after night, many are coming hungry
and God is moving in power. The revival continues this week,

Hearing Centre, sent a letter to the church office of behalf
of and with the permission of his client Clara, who is a member
of Bethel. Two weeks ago Clara, who needed a hearing aid to
hear testified of being healed. This specialist’s letter confirms
her healing. The letter reads:
“Today’s results indicate…a significant improvement in Clara’s
hearing bilaterally. Our records indicate that Clara has had
to wear a SUPER POWER behind-the-ear hearing aid since 2003.
This type of hearing aid would be considered too powerful for her
now…she now has the option to use a custom fit in-the-ear style
hearing aid if she so chooses.”
When Pastor Greg, Bethel’s Outreach Pastor, spoke with Clara, she
said that the specialist was surprise at her dramatic improvement.

Mark, from Sarnia, testified that his 5 year old son had a
stomach disorder. Among many things he couldn’t eat gluten,
sugar, wheat, or lactose. His son was on a very limited diet
his whole life, and even the little bit he ate cause pain in
this boys stomach. Two weeks ago, a youth, who attends the
revival services, but is a member of a Christian Reformed Church
in town prayed for this five year old boy and he was healed.
He now eats everything, with little to no pain in the stomach.

this boys stomach. Two weeks ago, a youth, who attends the
revival services, but is a member of a Christian Reformed Church
in town prayed for this five year old boy and he was healed.
He now eats everything, with little to no pain in the stomach.

Over 50 volunteers hit the streets of Sarnia on Saturday, delivering
groceries to families in need. Thanks to the sponsorship of agents
for ReMax Sarnia Realty, over 160 families received a weeks worth
of groceries. During the outreach one team led a man to Christ.
Another team found themselves in the home of a woman who had recently
lost her daughter to cancer. They were able to comfort her and pray
with her.
Another team was invited into a home to pray for healing for a woman
that was seriously injured in a car accident.
God opens many doors of opportunity through outreach. Outreach is
an integral part of revival!

Jennifer was saved four weeks ago at a revival service. She was
addicted to Crystal-meth, one of the hardest addictions to break.
As of Saturday she is two weeks drug free, and 5 days cigarette free.
She even testifies that though she thinks about them sometimes, she
has no cravings. She said the best part of it all is that she has
been so worried about staying away from drugs that she hadn't realized
that her asthma was healed. God is working in her life, praise GOD!

LAST NIGHT
Does your heart hurt for the millions of Canadians who have
turned their back on, or have never known God? Do you cry
out to God for your loved ones to turn to Him? Do you long
for a nation to be changed, and for the fear God to be restored
to churches all across this land?
The Sarnia Revival is not about one person or one church.
This revival is about a nation being changed. We are pressing
in to see God change this nation. Will you stand with us?
Will you make time and space for the Spirit of God to work
in and through you; to be an agent of change? Are you hungry?
Do you want to satisfy that hunger? Do you want a touch of
God?
Allen Froese has been a vital part of leading worship at some
of the revival services. A few weeks ago, on his way home he
penned these words:
Let revival fire fall,
Let revival touch us all,
Holy Spirit you are welcome here.
Let revival sweep this land,
Let revival blaze again,
Holy Spirit, be forever near!
His words encapsulate the heart cry of the leadership at Bethel
Pentecostal Church, where this revival is being hosted.
We’re desperate for God to change this nation.

My name is Yvonne Anderson from Sarnia. Jesus healed me on
May 6th in the Revival service. My son, Jim Keddy, died in
Hong Kong in January 2005. One year to the day of Jim's funeral
I had a serious attack with severe chest pressure raising my
blood pressure very very high. I was in the hospital 2 separate
times and all physical tests were fine. However, I was diagnosed
with post trauma stress syndrome or panic attacks or as documented
on 20/20 TV...broken heart syndrome. I suffered for 3 months
and was on addictive medication. I was at the place where it was
GOD or drugs and I was desperate.
Praise JESUS I am completely healed. I have told my Doctor and
the stress test Technician about Jesus healing me at the
Sarnia Revival and have returned my medications to the Pharmacist,
telling him also about the Sarnia Revival and Jesus healing me.
I attend Temple Baptist Church, but I am a Pentecostal. The
moving of the Holy Spirit in the meetings is wonderful and refreshing.
I have had occasions to tell others about the Revival and my healing
and each time it is like a brand new story.
Thank you to the Pastors and staff and worship teams for ministering
so effectively and keeping so in tune with the Holy Spirit. Praise
GOD for all he has done and is doing and will continue to do in
our midst. I am privileged to be on your e-mail list and I praise
GOD each time as I read them. May GOD richly bless all of you.
