6 1/2 hours of teaching on releasing the saints to the works of the ministry was capped off that night by praise and worship, healings and miracles as the title of the conference became a reality.
Over 10 churches, ministries, and christian colleges participated as pastors and leaders laid down their ministries in favour of the ministry of the Lord.
The capacity crowd was released in ministry and there were numerous testimonies of the hand og God in peoples' lives.
A man who was totally deaf in his left ear received his hearing and another received his sight, while others received physical, emotional and historical healings. The following Sunday people stood in churches around the city to declare what God had done for them.
The presence of the Lord was thick and after midnight there some people who could not stand to walk to their cars and were driven around as they lay in the parking lot under the annointing of the Lord.
One brother called his former pastor to repent and ask for the opportunity to repent publicly before his former church home.
Most encouraging was the high level of cooperation between churches and ministries who have pledged to continue this meeting twice a month. The owner of a local Christian bookstore closed his business early and brought his staff to take part and pledged his assistance for future events. And by Monday other pastors had called to ask to join in to what God is doing in bringing freedom to the captive and liberty to the prisoner.
