"The Lord's Pantry," a ministry of Mariposa Revival Center, has been operating
continuously for 10 years. According to Pastor Henry , with the Lord's help,
we have never missed a distribution day, nor have we ever not been able to
meet anyone's emergency food needs when they call us for help. We have
always distributed several thousand pounds of quality groceries to the
Mariposa people that came for help. When you consider the small size of our
church and the financial status of our members, that alone is a major miracle.
Falany continues, as well as distributing food to the needy that come, the
workers at the Pantry always love on and pray for the folks. Consequently,
there are often testimonies and reports from the people when they come to
the monthly distribution of results of the previous prayers.
MIRACLE HEALING REPORTS
However at the last distribution on September 27 it all went to another level.
The place was electric with excitement as numerous people were reporting
notable miracles from the prayers a month earlier.
For instance,
.. one lady had the prayer Counselor pray for her friend with hepatitis. The friend
was very ill and feeling very poorly at the time. When she saw her friend after
the prayer at the Pantry he was busy working in his yard and said he was
amazed how good he felt. She asked him what time he started feeling better
and he said about 4 o'clock, which was exactly when he was prayed for. That
reminds us of the story of Jesus in Luke chapter 7 healing the Centurion's
servant by proxy and when they found the servant at home he was healed.
Another lady that had been prayed for testified of cancerous spots that had
been identified by the doctors were not visible in the last scan.
Still another lady who had been ministered to for headaches and dizziness
reported that the doctors couldn't find anything and the symptoms were gone.
One Pantry worker and prayer counselor excitedly said, "Its not just giving
the food away, its getting to show God's love to the people. The ones that said no
to prayer before, now they are coming for prayer."
These are just a few of the testimonies that we can remember as the place was
alive with very positive excitement and encouragement from the people giving
thanks to the Lord for answering their prayers.
Usually we pray and minister to the people quietly and discreetly. But this time
they were so excited it was all out in the open and everyone was excited. It
reminded us of biblical examples of Jesus performing miracles out in the open.
Shout Praise the Lord, somebody!!
The Lord�s Pantry (TLP) is the food ministry of Mariposa Revival Center. It is the
largest food ministry in the county, as well as the entire Sierra region. TLP is
distributing over 70,000 pounds annually of fresh fruits and vegetables, cereals,
breads and a variety of other goods to the people of Mariposa County and the
surrounding areas. Approximately 150 households, or 300 to 500 people, are
being served by the ministry on a monthly basis. Besides the monthly distribution,
TLP is also available on an on-going basis for emergency food needs.
The distributions are made on the fourth Thursday of each month, except
November and December, at 3 p.m. at the county park in town. The November and
December distributions are moved one week earlier to the third Thursday because
of the holidays.
