At The Gate Dc

Last week at The Gate we had a time of great food and celebration. Then we were catapulted into the presence of the Lord in worship. There were times when it sounded like a heavenly host had joined in the worship. As if thousands of voices were added to those of the believers in the room and sounds that the musicians could not create on their instruments. The entire room was filled with the glory of the Lord and we responded in intercession. Some read scripture. Others prophesied. The sounds of angels and of men went forth over the city calling the people to come to the Lord. The following morning Lynnie sent this testimony of her experience during The Gate
Well...I had to share this with you guys. I've heard so many times now about oil and gold dust manifesting in meetings. Then you hear about people taking the Chariot rides...or diamonds appearing in the meetings etc...etc...!!!!!!!!! I personally had never experienced any of it...but was more than willing to if God did move that way in a meeting I was in...I want to see ALL aspects of HIM!!!! Yesterday December (22nd) was mine and Tom's "30th" Wedding Anniversary. As we were driving to The Gate I said to Tom that I really would love to see something different tonight. I mean...I wanted something tangible...I was tired of hearing about it all...I wanted to experience it.
So last night at the meeting I could just feel something different in the worship and I felt led to move closer to the front and I got lost in the presence of the Father!!!
I had my eyes closed and all at once I started seeing this like I was watching TV...I saw two HUGE Angel wings they were crossed one over the other. All at once they parted and I saw a golden chariot with an angel standing in it...he never moved his lips but I heard him say "get in"!!!!
At the same time this was happening Chelsea...one of the worship leaders...started to read Revelation 4 (The Throne Room of Heaven)! The Angel told me to get in at the same time she read in Rev. 4:1 "Come up here"! I mean right as she read the words "Come up HERE"...he said "GET IN"...without ever moving his mouth!!!! I was being invited by the Lord to come into HIS presence...so I got on!!!! As she continued to read from Rev. 4 what ever part she would read would be the next thing I experienced.
When it was over I was weeping...I did not know if I should tell anyone or not. Finally I made my way to the back of the room to go and tell Tom...and at the same time I reached him "feathers" started appearing all over the room!!!! One big white one feel right in-front of Tom...he started to grab it but this lady got to it before him. David came to the back of the room to ask if we could hear the extra voices (oh yeah...forgot to mention you could hear more people singing with the worship team then were up there..."ANGELIC")!!!! I shared with him what had happened to me...he later asked me to share with everyone...but to be honest...at the time...I was still in somewhat shock and could hardly explain what just happened to me!!!! I was still processing the whole thing myself!!!
Before the night was over I was given a beautiful silver feather and put it in my bible!!! I came home and lamented it...to remember that special night the Lord blessed me so deeply...it was an awesome "Anniversary" present from the Father...I can't explain it all in it's fullness...but I can say with all integrity...IT HAPPENED!!!! Others heard the sounds of heaven and experienced the radical presence of the Lord in different ways during worship. Tracy then brought a summary of the previous two weeks of teaching on our position in Christ and commanding angels. This focus will continue as we begin the New Year. As we closed the gathering one woman rose to testify of the healing power of Jesus saying that in the past months she had been healed in four significant ways by the Lord. Bone spurs that made walking very painful were dissolved. Her broken ribs were healed. She was healed of a lung disease called bronchiectasis and here back was healed. “I am pain free” she exclaimed. As faith increased from her testimony we prayed for the sick among us and prayed and sent Lynnie off to Israel for a time of ministry.
We thank God for you and pray you will experience His presence and His favor this weekend. The Gate will gather again at Chevy Chase on January 5
