First my friend A. (who is a nurse and like a role-model to me) was in a car accident, but is ok, and then my cousin C. (who is also a nurse, and like a role-model to me) was also in a car accident, but she is ok. Then on Sunday I got rear-ended, and I am ok (my car is ok too, just a bent license plate. I think my cousin's car got wrecked though).

Also, the week before last when I was leaving church, I had Jason Upton playing on my CD player, "the kindom of God is here!" very loud, and I was feeling led by the Holy Spirit, and so joyful, and was leaving church, about to turn right, felt so much like hitting that gas peddle, it just felt right, went to do so, looked to the left, and there was a car right there! so I stepped on the brakes... and turned down my radio... and was kind of spooked, because, I had felt led to hit the gas, and had I done so, I would have been in a car accident :( That scared me and went home, and sat in the bckyard in the sunshine and read a book about hearing from God that my friend bought me for Christmas (it's Can You Hear Me? by Brad Jershack).

Then on Sunday, day before yesterday, as I was going home - that was when I got rear-ended, and someone hit me from behind and we had to pull over and get infos and stuff. I bumped my head on the head rest beind me so I got x-rays today to check for whiplash. My neck is a lil tight and snaps and clicks but it doesn't hurt.

Also later that day I actually stepped on a banana peel. I thought that was so odd. When does ever actually happen? And the past few weeks when driving it has just felt less safe than normal for some reason (like other drivers doing silly things, and me not seeing people - when this never happened before). Why does God do this? Was He just preparing me for getting rear-ended, or am I being attacked, or has God stopped protecting me or something? My theory at the moment is He thinks I am older and can handle more problems so He is giving me more problems.

Jess,

The Holy Spirit would never lead you to blast your radio while driving!  Secondly, we, as christians are to be led by the unctioing of the Holy Spirit.  It is obvious that the Holy Spirit was not leading you to step on the gas but instead to step on the brakes.  God does not lead us into accidents.  As far as the accidents of people you know, just take authority over that harassing spirit and command it to cease in Jesus Name.

You are not to lean to your own understanding (Proverbs 3;3-5).  It will get you into trouble every time.  Your theory is not of God!  God is not doing this to you.  You must get into the word of God, so that you don't allow the enemy to convince you that God is behind this.  Some of it is simply you making wrong decisions (driving with loud music while hitting the gas peddle)!   As far as the banana peel....stuff happens!  Stay focused and let go of all the negativity!

Sounds like you need prayer for protection Jess.

Father God, I pray for Jess that you put your protection around her, put angels around her car, keep her safe.  Give her wisdom on driving and protection from others on the road.  We asked this in Jesus name amen.

Thank you Pamela, with my driving, I need that prayer! I do have faith that God protects when I'm driving though, absolutely! I believe He uses angels too. Also, once, I almost turned the wrong way down a one way with a fleet of cars heading my way, and I just felt myself turning the wheel in the oppositve direction for no reason. and a moment later realized I woudl have gone the wrong way down the one way if that hadn't happened. My brother was in the car with me and he told my mom because it scared him. I'm glad I turned away from the cars. Only by the grace of God did that happen!
