The Lord Knows Those Who Are His
2 Timothy 2:19 NKJV
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The
Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name
of Christ depart from iniquity."
2 Timothy 2:19 NLT
But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription:
"The Lord knows those who are his," and "Those who claim they belong to
the Lord must turn away from all wickedness."
God's truth stands firm
The Lord knows those who are His
Those who enter thru the narrow door
Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I
tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. --Lk 13:24
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or
of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's
holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking,

has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one

The Lord is drawing His own unto himself

Do not be deceived
The secret power of lawlessness is already at work --2 Thess 2:7
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of
Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,
and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They
perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this
reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the
lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but
have delighted in wickedness. --2 Thess 2:9-12

Isn't it so that we have little benefit over those still not saved while here on earth? I'm sure you've noticed these things. God always places so much more emphasis on heaven. If we Christians aren't doing our best to create heaven on earth, we're wasting our time - I'd say.

Romans 3
19Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are
under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world
held accountable to God. 20Therefore no one will be declared
righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we
become conscious of sin.
Righteousness Through Faith
21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made
known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness
from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is
no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came
by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement,
through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because
in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished
— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be
just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
27Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of
observing the law? No, but on that of faith. 28For we maintain that a man
is justified by faith apart from observing the law. 29Is God the God of
Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, 30since
there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the
uncircumcised through that same faith. 31Do we, then, nullify the law
by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
